I recently bought an Asus Transformer Tf701t with the dock. There have been two things I noticed. On the left side the panel squeaks as if it wasnt holding properly around the connectors and micro sd port. Also, when I dock my tablet, the screen itself turns off, but the backlighting is still on. Only happens when I dock. Are these common issues?
No, that's not normal. I would return either the dock or both for replacement.
My Tablet has the same issue with the Dock, allways disconect. Can i still return my tablet even if its unlocked?

Well I finished my testing. The camera doesnt work, when they delivered the tablet, the top border was not holding properly. The dock works unless you turn on wifi, if i do, in 2-3 secks the display turns off and only backlighting works. So yea this looks like a pretty straightforward warranty stuff

No, if it is unlocked they won't take it back. And anyway - the tablet is fine. The problem is with the dock. Try to exchange it against a new one.
Thank you berndblb

Had the same issue with my first combination and was proposed a change. In the shop I connected my tablet to a new dock and the new tablet to my old dock, both gave the same bad behaviour. Only when I changed to a new tablet and new dock I did not have ny problem. (Well, until it completely broke down, but that is OT)

Hi everyone! This topic already is on the forum, but it had no solution and it was in the wrong section, so I'll post the problem here.
I have a Galaxy mini with Cyanogenmod 7.2 and when i touch the screen with two fingers, it only detects the first finger that i touched, and i have to slightly move the second one to recognize both. It's very awkward, mostly when I play games. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.
Hm i had that too, if i remember right... but i thought iw was an app bug of hillclimb, sorry no idea how to solve that :/

Try zoom and unzooming images / web pages, if zooming / unzooming work that means something odd is happening.
It will work, he said multitouch is working, but only if u move ur second finger slightly

Multitouch works, but if I tap the screen with 2 fingers at the same time it doesnt work. It only detects them after I moved them.

Yeah, the same goes for me. IDK, i never solved this issue, i just "jumped" the issue. I'm not a gamer so i don't really care if my Mini's multitouch won't work correctly.
Ya me too xD
As i didnt even notice that after changing rom ^^

Hey Guys,
I recently dropped my Htc One down the stairs. After the first contact with the stairs it bumped up again, rotated a few times, bumped up again and so on. After 30 steps it stopped jumping around.
I am using a protection ( http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00BNAJ926/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_de?ie=UTF8) and theres no visible damage and at first i thought that there were no issues resulting.
Yesterday i wanted to take a picture in a low lit room an saw something like a blue fog.
I was abled to reproduce it and i attached a few pics where you can see it.
My question is, if other people are having the same issue after a drop or maybe even without dropping it.
Using GE Rom 4.3 on Htc One Europe with unlocked bootloader , CWM Recovery and radio 3.4.10-ge22f38b.
Also tried with RUU and locked bootloader and the problem is still there.

unfortunately a lot of people are having this issue which is not related to dropping the phone.
If the photos are normal in regular lightning then you might have the same issue as all of the people on the following post:

Personally haven't seen anything like that, have you tried cleaning it? It kind of looks like it's just dirty..
This was also my first thought but theres no dirt and no scratches on the lens.

I has the pattern too sometimes. Believe me, it isn't the drop. Htc will "fix" in next 4.3 update

Hey guys just looking for input here. Would it be worth it to trade my Nexus 5 (case + screen protector) for a Xperia Z that also comes with a screen protector + case, also the charging dock?

Because of the latest Android version and the better (IMO) screen! XZ will be abandoned after 4.4 :silly:
I cant think of anything where the xperia z beats the nexus 5. Maybe expandable storage. That's about it.
I previously had the ZL and traded it for a Nexus 5. After a while with the Nexus I'm starting to miss the Sony design and UI. So i've considered switching to a Z. I personally don't really care for the latest android update, as long as my phone is stable and working perfectly. Viewing angles I don't care about, so for me the Nexus and Z seem on par in the screen department. I have attempted to play games back when I had my ZL using a PS3 controller, but due to it not having a charging dock I found it problematic as I had to find a way to prop up my phone, but also charge it. So for me the inclusion of the dock for the Z really is a plus.
I love my Z too over my N5

I really don't know since I love the Sony UI and just premium look. But I love my Nexus 5 for speed and reliability of updates. I've had my Nexus for only a month now and I already miss having a Sony phone.
Stay on Nexus 5, you wont regret it

I bought Sony xperia z 1 year ago mostly cause of design.I don't care that much about screen, processor etc.4 cores of 1.5ghz are more than enough for everything. It's fast and smooth enough.I dont like the camera compared to other top smartphones but still i prefer great sony's design.
So i realise that there are a bunch of different threads on this already however non of which bring up the fact that the phone is still discharging with the screen on when plugged in. I have replaced the usb flex board in the phone. Tried several different chargers and the battery seems find (not bloated)
Any ideas anyone ?

Does your phone get warm while charging? There might be some apps that go heavy an your CPU. How is the deep sleep rate on your phone when it is not charging?

No it doesn't get warm. I've tried closing all apps to see what happens. Its been fine in deep sleep as Ive had it in my pocket during work and it only goes down a few percent
Did you try a different charger?

Yes tried 4 different chargers all do the same thing. I can only put this down to the battery. I'll try another one and another USB flex board.
Ok tried new battery and new usb flex both genuine samsung parts and still says discharging when the screen is on. Could i have mucked up the root or something?
On my note 8, there are so many times where I will have to re-press an area, this is no particular area, to have it register what I am pressing on. I came from a note 4 and it was perfect.
Is this a possible flaw for my device? I have tried a factory reset. Also tried changing resolutions. but no luck. It was purchased brand new in box. Should I try another one?
Thank you.
You are using a flip case or installed a tempered glass? I often read about such issues in connection with such stuff.
