I can't seem to find one of these thats decrypted and works. Im looking for any of the roms because from the i can just run software updates. It'd be nicest to have the KitKat STOCK rom for the phone. Please provide a link if you have one or suggest other ideas.

OH you do?!!! The steps didn't say that. I am currently trying to flash everything back to stock. Kinda played with the phone too much. You have a link to an article that says how to get S-off or could you tell me how? Wow this post is all wrong anyways. I am actually looking for an ENCRYPTED STOCK ROM file for the HTC One M7. Thanks for the help.

Ok awesome. So Originally this whole problem started when i wanted to get rid of CyanogenMod 11. I did it wrong was kinda a sloppy process so i fkd up a couple of things. Currently, im trying to get the phone back to everything STOCK. Like how i first had it before CyanogenMod (Android 4.4 or 4.2 dont remember doesnt matter, one of the two). So i found this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251800
And it was working great, i had it all flowing smoothly until i got the error message:
C:\Android>fastboot flash zip Rom.zip
sending 'zip' (421214 KB)...
OKAY [ 35.969s]
writing 'zip'...
(bootloader) signature checking...
FAILED (remote: 12 signature verify fail)
finished. total time: 88.871s
And there was a reply to this which told me to find another ROM because i was either using one for the wrong phone or it was decrypted, which got me to create this thread to find others but so far ive tried about 10 none of them have worked.
SO thats my situation right now an thoughts?

this one >> http://www.androidruu.com/getdownlo...09_10.26.1718.01L_release_356565_signed_2.exe
You have to relock your bootloader to use it

That would be the RUU for you (based on MID and CID), though better check with @clsA, cause some of these newer RUUs don't always work.... and he's tried this one I think.
Oh and charge your battery before trying to run/flash ruu's!!!

just lock the bootloader first

The story is I wanted to reload stock ATT Sense 5.0 firmware from GPE. During this process things got bad to worst. I went from S-Off > S-ON to Unlock to re-lock. Now I can't even unlock the set. The command takes but disclaimer doesn't appear. Reboot-bootloader still has *** RELOCKED ***
The Phone is on a bootloop to GPE. Boots to start up page then reboots a second later.

I've tried the three RUU files for ATT as well as other RUU.exe files and they all error out with "ERROR[155]: UNKOWN ERROR"
I've also tried RUU from a laptop with the same "ERROR[155]: UNKOWN ERROR
I also got AV off
As of now it's impossible to use the signed RUU to get to factory default.

Ya for SaHiLzZ! :good: :highfive:
You got me to the right path and did it!
Using the instructions and different trail and error I was able to get a firmware to stop the bootloop!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182823
Since I was already s-on and re-locked i did the following steps with different firmware.
x.xx.1700.x - HTC One Google Edition - did not work
x.xx.1540.x - HTC One U.S. Developer Edition :good::highfive:
This worked: 4.06.1540.3.zip . i renamed to firmware.zip and did the steps below
How to flash?
(bootloader needs to be relocked)
Type: fastboot oem rebootRUU and wait for device to reboot
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Sometimes flashing for the first time doesn't work, so flash firmware.zip again just to make sure.
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Type: fastboot reboot
Unlock your bootloader and flash custom recovery if you are going to use custom ROM.

you need to unlock bootloader (using HTCdev), however, you have a US Dev Edition firmware (4.06.1540.2) with ATT CID: CWS__001 so I don't know if HTCdev will allow that.
try getting a new unlock tocken, and see... otherwise you'll have to wait for 4.06 ATT version to be rolled out and someone shares the OTA file, so you can return to ATT firmware.

yes that's fine, but i don't know if HTCdev's unlock token will work for that combo
@domohan try flashing the 4.06.1540.2 RUU again, and then OTA to 4.06.1540.3 and try unlocking.. Don't have any ideas now.. @nkk71 any ideas except waiting for the ATT ota? I'm not even sure it'll take the ota because its already Dev edition, and s-on..

i don't think there's a 4.06 RUU, only the firmware package. if unlock token doesn't work, only idea i have is to get his hand on ATT OTA (once it's out), extract the signed firmware.zip, flash that, and hope HTCdev gives a good unlock token.

Oh yeah, sorry my bad.. Obviously he can't flash 3.22.. What if he extracts the firmware from the 4.06 ota and flashes that? Btw, aren't signed zips always encrypted? Won't decrypting the zip mess the signature?

OTA.zip - Not encrypted
firmware.zip inside OTA.zip - encrypted
So interesting result though. Bootloops stopped with 4.06.1540.2 firmware.zip however unlock still doesn't work.

Generating a new unlock didn't work. Looks to be the same MD5/CRC32 value. I tried it anyways and it didn't work.
I've tried unlocking with flash 4.06.1540.2 and 4.06.1540.3 with same result.
On 4.06.1540.2 currently but OTA didn't come in.

will any fastboot erase xxxx or fastboot format xxxx commands do anything?
Hi ,
i have a HTC ONE mobile phone, few days before i tried to install cyangonMod but unfortunately due to faulty USB my installation broke up.
so i ended up with no OS installed on my HTC ONE. later i searched out the forum and rooted back to the ROM as it was.
i founded links for the RUU zip files to install but since my phone is not linked with any operator, i have no clue which link to use.
my friend suggested me a link which was
RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.1_Radio_4A.13.3227.06_10.27.1127.01_release_308001_signed_2_4
when i try to install the zip using the following commands
fastboot oem lock
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.1_Radio_4A.13.3227.06_10.27.1127.01_release_308001_signed_2_4.zip
i received following error

I have been trying all different ways but so far no solution.
could any one help me get back to my Android please

Thank you in Advance

You need this RUU, and because its a downgrade, you will need to s-off first and then flash hboot 1.44. After your phone will be back to stock 1.28.401.7 and you will receive ota to latest version. Follow this procedure and don't forget to thanks the OP for his awesome guide :good:.
The other option if you don't want/can't s-off is to use this rom (guru reset). this is the stock rom for your version, and you will be able to update ota after. Instructions for guru reset can be found here
Still not working

The first solution didnt work cause since i have no OS in my HTC so adb functions are not working, since adb functions are not working so i cant do an s-off
The second solution: i dont know how to get the zip file inside my phone cause i cant execute adb sideload, is there anyother way to trasfer the file to the phone or is there any other way of executing it guru reset.

Boot your phone in TWRP recovery, dont select any option, just let the phone boot in twrp main menu
then:
Code:
adb push name_of_guru_reset_file.zip /sdcard/
then in twrp select install, chose the .zip and follow instruction in aroma installer.

Glad for you :highfive:
So I have done this so many times in the past playing with my HTC AMAZE 4G, to which i thought having some fun with my HTC ONE would be easy enough. But without a SD card.. i feel SOL.
I have been scouring the forums for possible fixes to no solution...
Currently I have the phone unlocked with "tampered" on the top.
My boot loader reads:
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-1.56.0000
RADIO-4A.24.3263.09
OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909
OS-4.19.531.10
Feb 3 2014,18:42:45.0
For all that is holy, i cannot get this thing to recognize ADB in console. I have been using Hasoon2000's AIO tool, which i used in the past on this phone and my priors.. but when I was in TWRP accidentally deleted my OS..? Everything I have tried has failed.
I am running Windows 8.1 which shouldn't be an issue with my Hboot version, so I am wondering what possible solutions there may be to get this fixed and finally get Cyanogen on this phone!
I have tried using the HTC recovery to go back to stock but i get errors when using the .zip i found which was supposed to be the RUU from the .exe HTC has out and yes i re-locked the phone for this. In terms of anything i think if i were able to get adb working i might be able to send CM11 to my phone directory and "recover" to that?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: When i tried using the RUU zip i get this in my cmd.

Hi, Hope this post is in the right place, apologies if not.
I recently got a HTC One (M7) which was already unlocked, S-OFF and rooted and had 4.4 on it but i wanted to upgrade that OS so installed GPE and then it updated a few times to 5.01 which was all good but now i want to go back to 4.4 and this is the problem i'm having.
I'm in the UK using a O2 UK RUU file which i know does work but now when i go to use it i get as far as 'Checking Header' (5%) and thats it ..it wont go any further? I have tried in compatibility mode but that just returns errors.. I am using Fastboot & ADB tools and tried pushing the firmware but i'm really quite a novice when it comes t stuff like this ..
I tried fastboot getvar and all i get it a list of commands now which i dont understand
I do know my CID is 111111
Here's the Bootloader Info:
*** UNLOCKED***

RADIO 4T.30.3218.21
OPEN DSP v34.120.274.0429
OS 5.11. 1700 .3
All i want to do it flash the phone back to original Stock with OS 4.4 ..
also, when i try to go into recovery it wont let me, i get the green android laying on his back with a red exclamation on him and pressing up with power dont take me into recovery.
Any idea's please?
I would like to thank xda and it's members for all the help previously.. thanks guys

Hi and thank you for your help.. i tried looking for the correct firmware.zip but after trying to flash it i get errors and 'fails' i'm not exactly sure which firmware i should be using - i did go to HTC site and selected what i thought were O2 UK FW files (1 was MR 3, 1 MR2 and 2 x zip files) so i assumed the .zip files were the FW files but its with these i got the errors. When i flashed them it did read them but aftr a few seconds returned a fail.
The RUU i am trying to put back on is RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_O2_UK_4.20.206.16_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353143_signed_2 which i know works on my device as i used it before i installed the GPE.
Any ideas please? I'm sorry i cant provide any more information.

Well you phone is having a bit of an identity crises
you have hboot 1.54 ( assume it's the Dark bootloader for GPE)
your Firmware version is 6.x.401.x which is for the International version
and your CID is O2
I'm going to recommend you convert to International by changing you CID
fastboot oem writecid HTC__001
then flash this firmware
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407574077
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot
followed by this RUU
http://www.androidruu.com/getdownlo...10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1.exe
or
RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_4.19.401.9_R_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1.exe - 1.50 GB
Maybe a little late but you could also try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358781
Go to post #2 and follow those instructions. Then flash whatever RUU you want.
I converted to GPE one time, didn't like it and also had trouble getting back to KK.

Go to post #2 and follow those instructions. Then flash whatever RUU you want.
I converted to GPE one time, didn't like it and also had trouble getting back to KK.

Thanks again for the help.. much appreciated - im using TWRP v2.7 and wiped the whole phone by accident - i'm trying to push (adb sideload fw_4.19.401.9_custom.zip) but keeps coming back as no device - i have a yellow exclamation in device manager under 'other devices' 'one' and cant seem to find a windows 7 driver for this? once i can push or sideload the firmware i can flash it correct?
Thanks again
So to refresh my memory, you were on stock GPE and want to go back to stock sense correct? Now you have wiped the phone using twrp and twrp is all that is left?

Yes thats correct - i'm new to all this flashing stuff but have been reading lots of various posts on xda ...
This is whats returned from fastboot flash:
C:\Users\Craig\Desktop\platform-tools>fastboot flash zip fw_4.19.401.9_custom.zi
p
target reported max download size of 1526722560 bytes
sending 'zip' (27605 KB)...
OKAY [ 2.357s]
writing 'zip'...
FAILED (remote: not allowed)
finished. total time: 2.408s
C:\Users\Craig\Desktop\platform-tools>
and...
C:\Users\Craig\Desktop\platform-tools>adb push zip fw_4.19.401.9_custom.zip
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found
i really dont know what to do now - i have all the correct files in the platform tools folder where i run the fastboot & adb commands (firmware & ruu) and have changed the CID to HTC___001
When i'm in recovery mode (TWRP) i get the yellow exclamation (screenshot hopefully attached)
First you need to get the driver working. Click on "one" and see if you can select from a list of devices on the pc. Now if the last working firmware on the phone was gpe then you need to push/sideload a gpe based Rom. This is because the partition structure is different than sense. You need to get a working Rom onto the phone first.

Hi All,
This might have been asked but couldn't find the right thread. I have rooted my phone, installed TWRP, super user but can't gain S-Off and don't want to spend $25 for sunshine. No custom rom installed. I am looking for options where I can get back to its original state.
Please help.
Regards,
Sam

RUU will restore your phone to 100% stock. Only thing that will stand out is "tampered" flag in bootloader. If you don't mind that, just flash your respective RUU

Thanks for your replies. I have tried "RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_Cingular_US_1.26.502.12_Radio_4A.1 4.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_318450_signed_2.exe" but somehow it was error-ed out. I am not sure whether I am doing it right or not.
Any suggestions on which RUU executable should I consider for AT&T. The other one I found was ZIP. I have downloaded but nothing to execute. I have to say I am novice on this custom ROM process.
I truly appreciate your help.

First, post your fastboot getvar all output, but erase your JMEI and serial no. That way we will know more about your software, and will be able to point you in the right direction

You need htc fasboot because regular fasboot can't handle files over 1.5 GB.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/lollipop-ruu-zip-small-collection-t3053944
Here's a "how to" on Lollipop RUU flashing. Read the first page, and flash away [emoji4]

I'm getting that error, even with the htc_fastboot. any ideas?
