[ROM][ICS-AOKP][I9100G]DIVINE AOKP [MILESTONE-6][late]

[/B]I dont know if this is the right time to be posting about ICS since most people have moved on. But anyway here it goes:
Features:
Source built AOKP m6 4.0.4
Powered by CM9 kernel (do not ask any questions about my choice)
AROMA installer (lets keep it a secret) (thanks to Bajee11)
5 launcher to choose from
Added specific divine settings (another secret)
Added cpu stats in settings/developer option
Fixed automatic time zone failing
Increased sms to mms threshold limit
Added samsung specific apps
Added Jelly Bean specific apps and some other apps as default for daily usage
Fixed too low or too high autobrightness levels
Themed default app switcher (google chrome styled)
Added youtube with full 720p support
Added galaxy nexus boot animation
Camera forked from rootbox 1.6
Diabled noise suppressions
Many other fixes..
INSTALLATIONS:
IF U COME FROM STOCK BASED DIVINE:
Flash stock ICS rom through ODIN first
Root it first "thanks to Jiyanyi"
Get proper CWM, not temporary (flash lp7 kernel by codeworkx)
Keep zip in your sdcard
Reboot into cwm
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Format /system
Flash ROM
Once Installation Complete: Uncheck Reboot Device
Wipe Cache and Dalvik
Reboot Device
Reboot takes about 10 minutes (so be patient)
(if this does not work then flash cm9 and then proceed from step 4)
IF U COME FROM CM9 or AOSP based rom (other AOKP too):
Keep zip in your sdcard
Reboot into cwm
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Format /system
Flash ROM
Once Installation Complete: Uncheck Reboot Device

Samyam,i had tried to flash this rom but phone stuck at samsung logo at boot.already 2-3 times perform all step properly and still cant get to this rom.any idea?

Yes, as per-instruction. Clear data,dalvik,format system,flash zip n etc .. During aroma installer running, i do have made my own selection on it.is that give any effect on boot ? Or i just need to hit next until finish? Which is no need to select any of option during aroma installer running.
By the way, current im using divine 1.1.

Hey u must first flash stock ics, then get root and CWM then u can flash if u are on divine 1.1

So that mean, i have to flash back stock rom and start it again.have to wait my laptop fix then i can try this rom...so sad

U don ve to remove sms log because call log does not show sms log in this ROM . As far i know, AOSP's don ve msg log in call log buddy. U ll find the options in aroma to add tw launcher, select it and flash it

But the dev said it does not work with aosp.

Is it? Try running the scripts through terminal emulator...if nothing wrong happened, then it should be fine...but one thing for sure, zipalign does not work...

I tried, went into boot loop, even after restarts...

i read in some posts that to go from stock based custom roms to aosp based roms.. you have to go to cm based rom first for full wipe may lead to hard brick.. pls clarify!

You just have to be on a safe kernel for wiping it.

It's only your kernel that matters when wiping and flashing, Roms have nothing to do with it.

Installing Instructions
First time installing to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Boot into Recovery
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
- Flash Liquid zip from internal SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from internal SDCard
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of Liquid Version
- Copy Liquid ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash Liquid zip from internal SDCard
- Reboot

Very smooth, very good rom, looks like carbon 10.1 but its faster. Should we expect stable release not just beta?

i use always the last version of philz's kernel for new rom installation but sometimes i used asylum kernel and it doesn't give me problems :good:

The ROM was released for 8 days. What do you expect? A daily release? Have you ever read the OP? Especially "OFFICIAL DECLAIMER" ? :cyclops:

I experience a lot of restarts in this rom. Is this duo the rom or my kernel i came from latest asylum but I never had reboots before.? :/

I install this rom with kernel that comes with asylum rom because i had asylum rom before (install asylum a week before so it was 10.2 asylum).
Does anyone experiance reboots on this rom, if does it means its not the kernel problem i guess? If not which kernel is the best to install before flashing this liquidsmooth rom? Tnx

Alsylum Kernel is good for flashing this ROM. Have you done a full factory reset before you install Liquid?

Instructions
-wipe data factory reset and cache partetion and dalvik cahce
-use ext_formater by lopicel.00
-flash bieltv's kernel
-reboot
-Unmount Every Thing mounted
-remount
-(After Being Sure the target rom doesnt include kernel Also Its script wont install Specified kernel) Flash it
-Flash Auto Porter
-remount
-then Flash Tool

Can I port all roms?
No you cant.
You cannot port stock roms like
sense, touchwiz etc.
You can port aosp roms like aokp,
paranoid etc
Can I port from any
phone?
No. The phone must meet some
requirements for you to be able to
port.
What are those
requirements?
Well these things should be common
in your phone and the phone you
are porting from
1. Both should be Same Archeticture(very
important)
2. Both should have same resolution
3. Both should have same pixel
density
4. Both should be of same brand
(Not required but highly
recommended)

AOKP based on CM 9.

Will try soon but i prefer aosp

Porter, as before with CM7 version, doesn't work.
Tested with this ROM.

Really, like the rest, I don't see how this tools would work. Besides, why do you want to take the fun out of porting anyway? I don't see how this is fun.
EDIT : Also, most CM7/9/10/11 have the getprop function. This means you can either:
1) modify build.prop to fit the getprops
2) decompress the zip, get rid of the getprop lines and recompress.
Frankly, I'd go for the second option, as different devices have different getprop lines. And if you do this method, you might as well do porting directly from there, no need for this porting tool.
And also, if you want to share the ROM, it would be quite troublesome...

Upload any of your ports, I am very interested, how do you replace folder "bin" and "lib" ported ROM from s5570.
I ported LewaOS, and a couple of ROM's (uploaded to 4pda) from s5570, using normal instruction, this ROM fully working, I can ported from s5570.
And this auto porter useless for ports from s5570, it can confirm any normal person, and myaservip just fills to itself reputation, noobs trust noobs..

@myaservip, I know what it's like to be flamed, trolled and mocked. In this thread, only me and Gisha 7 have explicitly stated our anger and condemned this Auto Porter. But him calling you a noob doesn't necessarily mean that you are an absolute noob. In fact, as we can see, you have enjoyed success in the other devices' development forums (apart from interjections by Gisha 7) and you have thanked them for their support. But here, where some of us oppose your intentions, you respond angrily and in a condescending manner. This, in my opinion, is not helping. What you could do, is try to find out what went wrong with the ones' that failed in a friendly manner, and thank all that support you. And when you meet this kind of flaming/trolling, the best thing to do is to try and settle the manner in the calmest way possible.
