I have the weirdest thing happening with the speakers. If I have been using a bluetooth headset and turn it off, I notice that the rear speaker defaults to the earpiece speaker. I will try to listen to music, watch a YouTube video, or watch MLB it will only come out of the earpiece speaker. I have to reboot the phone to get it to come out of the back speaker. I am on the stock rom. Has anyone else experienced this?
Same problem is mine. I am already confirm Bluetooth headset connection but can't listen anything:crying:

I've tried searching the forums and can't seem to find anything about the earpiece on the nexus one. I current can't hear anything from the earpiece. Speaker phone and bluetooth headsets work, but the handset earpiece doesn't work. Does anyone know what could be causing this and more importantly a way to fix this without sending it in? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I figured out what was causing the problem. I was listening to music through the earbuds and instead of stopping the music then pulling out the earbuds I just pulled them out. This was causing all the sound to either go through the speaker or the headphone jack. I plugged the headset in and stopped the music, then unplugged them and everything is working well.
Sometimes my SGS play all the sound from earpiece.
Without earphone pluged in.
Without bluetooth devices.
But it works again after reboot.
Any one knows why?
SGS froyo 2.2 JPD Speed Mod K9A 300
how do u know it plays in earpiece if not plugged in?
meaning no sound at all?
same here
Sometimes my SGS also plays all sounds from the ear piece and not from the speakers. I never experienced this before :S
The sound is coming out the little hole that you plug the earpiece in to ???

Happens after disconnecting from BT
Hi, similar thing happens to me too, but only after disconnecting from my car's stereo via BT. haven't tested on other BT stereo though.
yes. all audio seems to be rerouted from both external speakers (earpiece and rear speakers) to the audio jack or BT channel.
anybody else with this issue?
I once had this problem, but I just rebooted my phone and then it was ok.
I am having an issue with bluetooth when I switch from one app using bluetooth to another. Basically, when I am either listening to music or podcasts and then take a call the bluetooth drops out for about 2-3 seconds and the phone goes into speaker mode. This doesn't necessarily happen when going from the music or podcast app to the phone call, but after the phone call, the bluetooth drops out and I can hear the music or podcast playing on the phone's speaker for about 2-3 seconds before my headphones pick up the signal again.
I don't believe it is the headphones since I have used them extensively with 2 other smart phones with no issues.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Anyone else with this issue?
My phone is around 3 months old
Speaker was playing all sounds just fine till yesterday
I get sound through my headphones too
But there is no sound whatsoever from speaker when playing music, ringtone or notification
It's NOT a software issue, that I am 100% sure
I tried blowing air into my speaker and suddenly sound came for just a moment, then no sound
I tried putting headphones into the jack and out, still no sound
Can anybody help me if you have faced the same problem?
Has anyone else encountered this? Sometimes if I plug headphones in and listen to music, then unplug the headphones afterwards, then the speaker would not work. I would have to plug my headphones in again, pull them out, and the speaker would work again. It's almost as if the phone thinks headphones are plugged in even when they are not, and routes the music to the headphone jack instead of to the speaker.

I don't have this issue with the Z3C though i had this issue with my old Xperia S, after couple of months use this resolved it self. must have been a contact point issue in the headphone jack it self.
Diferent
What has happened to me is different, when I'm listening to music on the earphones and then I stop the music and close the Walkman app, and then I play it again I can't listen to anything, If I use the volume controls to turn up/down the volume nothing changes, and I need to unplug the earphones and then plug them in and it works fine then.
I don´t know why this is happening.
Sorry for my bad english
