Are u stock or using a Rom? If stock run a RUU of that doesn't work then u might need to take it in for hardware failure. If on a Rom try a different Rom and see if the problem is present there, might just be a issue with the Rom ur currently on.

Flashlight only works on first use after reboot. After that it won't work again until I reboot.
Also not working properly with camera. Sometimes lights subject but never flashes with shutter.
Anyone any suggestions?

@OP: Reflash the rom.
@angelo229: Stock ROM evolution is stock based & all the stock based ROMs have this problem because of the bug in lidroid.

That Venomous try to said you is there is NOT solution in STOCK roms at the moment, so yes use CM if you want to use flashlight toogle

i tried a CM10.1 and CM7.2 roms and still the same
any more ideas?
I posted this over a year ago. Never found a fix in that time. Was on 4.2 AOKP in the end.
Can you try a stock ROM and see if flashlight is fixed?
I no longer use this phone BTW.

i even flashed a stock rom from sammobile with odin
That was the one thing I didn't try, so was my only suggestion. You'll need to hope someone that can help sees this. However as you can see nothing's been forthcoming.

I have a LT30a (from AT&T) that I flashed LT30p firmware exclude baseband. When I tried to use the camera, I constantly experience freeze and if I close the camera app and tried to reopen, it will say "camera not available". Then, I have to reboot the phone for the camera to work again. Has anyone have a similar problem and found a solution?

I had your problem too. I resolved it flashing last fw (7.0.A.3.223).

I just flashed pengus's cm10, which is awesome, but I found an error.
I took some photos, browsing them in the gallery, when suddenly it closed.
I reopened the camer app, but it said:
Camer error- Cannot connect to camera.
I have to wait a minute or two to make it normally work.
Just before I flashed it i accidentally dropped my phone while sitting and it fell about 15 centimeters.
Can it be because of the drop, or is it a software related problem?
It happened 2 times today, but I was playing with the camera all day to find out when it does, but it does it randomly.
It happened too on ICS with the DjangoManouche X 1.4.
I can fully use the phone, but I am worrying becouse of this!
Is it a bug or something with my phone?

Seem like an conflict.. Just go to settings>apps>all.. Then camera and clear data and stop it..

I see, or else some file has gone missing.. You might not have done it.. I know that.. Try flashing the ROM again..

It happens to me on PA 2.6 build 06 and 07 too, so its confusing because it happens on other roms too...

First it appeared in djangomanouche. Than i flashed cm10 and pa 2.6 is the third rom where the problem appears.
I always did a fullwipe + format system before flashing and also did a backup

Reflash Stock rom, not custom, and use your phone with it for a while, if nothing happens, then start to customize it gradually to see which thing is causing that. If shutdown itself in stock rom not rooted and stock kernel then, maybe it's a hardware problem.

Have you tried to factory reset and try without any app installed ?
If you are on stock ROM it might be due to ram problem but you must give us more information otherwise we can't help you.
