I've been looking for a battery case to have with me for those times I can get to a charger but I'm about to run out. Mophie, assuming they'll release a case like they did for the M7, has yet to announce or real ease a case mad I haven't really found any other suitable options. I have a Mophie Powerstation, but it's only the 2500 mAh which I bought about 3 years ago because it could fill up the tiny iPhone battery 3-5 times before recharging.
Anyway, I'd like to get a list going for people looking at similar products and I was hoping that anyone with suggestions could toss them in here.
Thanks guys!

Nah it's not the metal. If it were then the iPhone wouldn't have any. Your on the right track though. It's the curvature of the back.

Yeah. It is great. I'm not saying it isn't. I'm just thinking about those times when your out and not going to be near a charger when your battery is nearing no charge. Not a everyday thing. More of a emergency power thing.

This is the one I was talking about. For the M7.

I didn't get the M7, I wouldn't mind a case like this for the M8.
I agree that battery life is good much better than the nexus 5 but a battery case would be nice. I have one zerolemon for nexus 5 and it really is useful for days with out a charger or just intensive days

didn't you already make this joke?
Thanks guys! Something too good to be true I guess.
Actually I bought this battery, cover and charger off ebay 2 weeks ago and imho its awesome, typically my stock battery gives me 7.5 hrs screen time over 1.5 days, the 6500mah battery gives me TWELVE hours screen time over 2 days. I only switch wifi or 3g/4g on when I need them with sync off and this applies to the stock result as well, I know china batteries are usually sub standard and do not perform anywhere near their quoted mah capacity but in this case its pretty good and for £8.50 delivered exceptional value, if I get ONE year of consistent performance I will buy it again.

I believe these have the capacity of two chinese batteries in one, whatever that means. Still it should be better than stock battery.

Mugen is overpriced. Why not Momax? They use LG cells. I've had a fat Momax extended battery on my SGS2 for 18 months and no issues at all. It lasted about twice as long as expected from the numbers.
Really cheap batteries leave me nervous. I sleep with my phone charging next to me and would not like to wake up in a fire or worse.
But Mugen? I'm quite unlikely to drop $100 for a battery. But won't go for $10 ones either. If Momax doesn't release their extended for the Note II soon, I'll just find something similar.

Well, the Veblen effect might apply to extended batteries too. But in general if the difference is too big I tend to suspect that they are using cheap cells and/or lying regarding capacity. It is not always easy to measure the numbers accurately.
This is crazy.
I would recommend, 5 stars.

Why don't they charge $6 more and put the NFC antenna on these things? The batteries are great, but without NFC, going forward are going to lose my business.

Mine came with a piece of crap NFC that didn't even work. I ended up using the one from the stock case and scotch taped it to the phone. Lol works just like the OEM backplate now. It only looks bad when you show off the battery.
Funny enough I've had four different backplates and the only two that worked were the OEM ones.

Hi there, I was disassembling my watch to be curious. I found the battery area and I noticed online there are micro batteries around the web. Do you guys think there is a way to get one of those batteries and fit it into the watch and use the ribbons (the wires) that were on the old battery and make them work with the new battery? I'm still trying to look for a good battery only if it is confirmed that one can do this. Thanks if you can help me out!

Find a battery that fits, has similar voltage output, and let us know how it goes! :fingers-crossed:
for the size of 20mm x 30 mm you will be very lucky to find anything over 315mA
i had a quick search and i found 310mA etc
unless you can modify the case some how i dont think you will find anything

I have successfully replaced the battery before, but be cautious if you do get a gear, only tested on original gear. You have to switch the capacitors, or the battery will just drain, and it needs the same voltage. The LG G Watch I heard was a great device, and with the oneplus, the G watch has full compatibility. I used the gear once with a Droid ultra, I had problems with a few things, and no galaxy store. Good thing I'm back to my Note 3 (for now ☺).

If you use airplane mode when using that case or your trail is directly under a cell tower, go for it. If not, then aluminum cases degrade the piss out of signal and rape your battery trying to find or maintain a signal, or even worse attempting to transmit on zero or one bar.
