[Q] Has anyone found a root for firmware version #VRUANA4 - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had a previous firmware version (G730VVRUAMI9) on my phone (Galaxy s3 mini) and I was able to gain root access and I had it but then Verizon rolled out an OTA update (March 2014) (G730VVRUANA4)
which now prevents me from rooting my phone! Has anyone been able to root there phone with this version yet?!?!

Yeah but no matter if India, Germany, UK or what ever. You can flash every stock ROM no matter which country.
With .67 you are up to date. Also with .74
Here is the .74 if you want to flash it, there is no customize

Downgrade to 4.2.2

Hi guys
I updated my Xperia Z C6603 to JellyBeam 4.3 via OTA aaaaaaaand I lost my root. So now I want to have root again, and as you told me I have to go back to 4.2.2, then root again and update to 4.3 with flashtool.
So, could anybody help me with that? What exactly I have to do?
Thanks

Don't forget to also download the drivers which you can do easily with windows. Go to C:/FlashTool/drivers and click the icon. Otherwise you won't be able to enter flash mode if you haven't put the drivers in the folders too. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45464122&postcount=3

Can you unlock your bootloader? If so, then you could easily root. If you can i suggest you to unlock it.
If not, you must downgrade and get a pre-rooted firmware.

Bravia engine just oversaturates colors and make them look like amoled. No offense but if this is the only reason you should unlock.
Also bravia enginr still works for videos.

To downgrade using flashtool you don't need a custom recovery/root

When you flash these Odin packages it will completely wipe your phone, so make sure to backup anything you want to save. Other than that, nothing bad will happen. Some packages are optimized for different regions/carriers so most likely you'll get the best performance flashing the firmware that is meant for your region/carrier.
But must be for Germany? I live in Germany and I have Mobilkom-Debitel (aka Vodafone) carrier.

What will happen to my paid apps? Remember Google play store that after new ROM is installed?

Anyway remember make a good backup with Titanium or a similar app

I have the solution. You need to flash a special twrp via fastboot. After that you need root, this works only with one single zip file. After that you have to rename a few folders. That's it. Link to the files coming in a few minutes.

Edit: take twrp and supersu from here :
