[Q] galaxy note (n7000) - no data & call services after flashing cm11 - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. i am having a galaxy note (n7000). After flashing it with cyanogen 11, everything works perfectly alright except data and call services. Initial there will be data and call services. After sometime there will be no data and call services even when its showing full signal. it occurs when the network changes to H data mode. when it becomes H+ mode or E mode , i can use data as well as i can call. Sometimes it shows emergency calls only. Before flashing this custom rom, such an issue was not there. Anyway, i then flashed it with Slim-n7000-4.4.2.build.4-OFFICIAL-3657. Its a great rom but this problem still remained. Assuming that the custom roms might had some bug, i then decided to flash the stock rom(jelly bean 4.1.2) using odin. And to my horror, the problem still remains. i tried flashing with another firmware and still there was no change. now i cant install cwm recovery or tmrp recovery.
it shows status 7 error. i used the same file at the beginning. But now that too doesnt work.
I feel so exhausted :crying: . Please Help me to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance.

me too same problem

[Q] Galaxy P100 trouble

Hi! I've got a Galaxy Tab P100 CDMA tablet with interesting problem: after any reboot or power off my device goes back to initial state just as after data wipe. I can work with it almost fine, sometimes different apps are crashing, but just till reboot.
I tried to flash different roms, stock and custom, kernels etc... Nothing helps...
Also after data wipe or reboot system automatically sets up some weird google account [email protected] and I cannot delete it. I think it is all the probem. And also I think, I need to flash stock csc files, but I can't find it...
Can anyone help me, please?

[Q] emergency calls only

i have a galaxy note n7000
i then install abyss kernel version 2.6.35.14-ver.4.2
the gingerbread build number is xxla6
since the last two days its stuck on emergency calls only
i tried things like restarting the phone, removing the sim, even factory reset but nothing helps
the sim is alrite coz its working in other phones
what should i do?????
try this.
go to recovery mode -> mount and storage-> format system, format cache, format data.
update here whether it works or not.
did you do factory reset from settings or recovery?
from recovery
its not even opening now mate
its stuck on the welcome screen which says samsung galaxy note gt-n7000
It happens to me too.. just now. And I didn't even do anything with the hardware.
I just took out the SIM card to test it on another phone, put it back and now I got Emergency Calls only!!
I didn't install any new ROM (I have stock) or Kernel. Just normal Google Play apps, but that can't be the reason!
Is this Straight Talk issue?

[Q] GT-N7000 bricked by using bluetooth earphone ???

Hi there,
Used my old samsung bluetooth earphone for one call today and after the call the phone froze ? With a restart it boots to the first screen and the bluetooth symbol comes on in the top right corner where the 3G symbol should be. It then hangs and after about a minute goes into a loop showing the samsung name glowing, glowing,...I have to remove the battery to shut it down. I did a back up in recovery, (it won't back up to the external sd card for some reason...) but it reproduces the same scenario - the bluetooth symbol followed by the ever glowing shut down....the 3G never get's there and I can't see the phone on my PC either so I can't save my data. Effectively, I have data and recordings I need to recover. Any ideas how I may save my phone and data ? And what the hell happened ? I have never had bluetooth issues before ! The phone had just updated some apps including google voice whose download hung and I eventually force topped it. But that wouldn't kill my phone, would it ??!! Weird...:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Oops ! Forgot to specify : Rom = Ultimate N7000 XXLT4 JellyBean 4.1.2 v6 with Philz safe kernel and CWM 6.0.3.1 based touch recovery (still working )

Click to collapse
The failed update might have something to do with it ( I think), anyway, to save your data and setting, reboot to recovery, go to mount&storage, format SYSTEM, CACHE, PRELOAD, and wipe dalvik Cache. After that reflash your ROM, reboot and try.

WiFi not turning ON after installing Omni ROM

Galaxy Note GT-N7000, I was on CM 11 and everything was working fine. I made my mind to try out Omni ROM. Installed TWRP and Omni ROM. Since then WiFi is not turning ON. When tried to turn ON from settings, the button moves to ON state stays grey for few seconds and moves back to Off. Now even after installing stock ROM or CM 11, the WiFi is not turning ON and same behavior observed.
Tried the following:
Factory reset.
Installed stock JB ROM.
Again installed CM 11 by doing wiping /data, /system, /cache.
Installed Custom Kernel
Based on the suggestions at some posts, opened up the phone to check any dust or hardware related issues, but nothing.
It doesn't seems to be a hardware issue, as WiFi turns ON occasionally, especially when a new ROM is installed but after a while stops working.
PS: ADB Debug log says "Unable to load driver."
Requesting help from experts on fixing this issue.

3G not working correctly after rooting and installing custom recovery

So I rooted my Note 5, installed custom recovery twrp and kept stock rom on my marshmallow phone.
The thing is that after i use wifi and turn it off , I get the 3G icon of connectivity but its not connecting. I have to manually shut down Mobile data and turn it back On so it works again.
Has this happened to anyone before?? anything i can do to fix it?
