still naked, do you have pics yet? any recommendations for screen protection?

I'm sad the mofi android 7 inch zip nexus 7 case/ sleeve sold on Amazon isn't listed. I just got mine on Tuesday and I love it. The N7 fits inside even if you have a tpu case or one of the blurex/ poetic/ moko cases on it.

There are 2 listed on that site but I don't like the idea of the keyboard touching the screen when it's folded up... Maybe I'm just too paranoide

I got the first one on the list on the link: amFilm. It fits perfectly (though pretty frustrating to install). The only down side is that it feels different than the screen, which is to be expected. Plus, the amFilm comes with 2 in the package just in case one doesn't install correctly (and at 7.95 its a steal).
To OP thanks for the guide, I wish I saw this before deciding on my current case, mainly to explore my options. I'm actually pretty happy with my Poetic Keybook, which was a surprise after reading the reviews. With a screen protector and the slight lift provided by the case around the N7, I am not at all concerned about the keys being near the screen.

Price at 19.99 is a bit steeper than other Ebay cases,
and its pictures do not show if we can fold the cover all the way back or if it's a Smart cover or not.
But I like its look, probably will wait to see other sellers posting the same one with more pictures and detailed description.

To be honest, that does look like one of the better looking cases on eBay. If you guys want, I can take it for the tram and review it when I get it? Hopefully by the end of this week.

It's the case I've been holding out for..... looks like the perfect case IMHO :beer::beer:

Its "Pu Leather" which is short for poly synthetic leather. As in, its a cheap less durable leather covering some piece of cardboard or something.
In fact, some countries like New Zeland and UK have banned the sale or use of "leather" for products with this type.
But I'll update you guys once I get this case.

Looks like a really nice case, but after reading this I might keep waiting... Waiting for a perfect slim case to be released before I buy one!

I bought one too, I'll take some pics when I get it in as well. I'll probably get this one from China before I get my darn Portenzo case lol.

I ordered one of these about a week ago, still waiting on delivery but will post my views on it when it arrives.

It looks like it arrived at the San Francisco post office, which is only 50 miles away so I may get my case tomorrow. If I do I'll post pics and my impression :good:

Nice 1 there...thinking of getting 1 too..but havent decided on the color..mine is the white version..any suggestions besided white @ black?..thanx for the review..

Here is how blue colour of this case looks on the white phone.
The front and one of the back images are taken with flash which kinda screws up the colour, last picture is how it looks in reality.
Frankly in person this case looks quality premium case. It feels nice in hands. I first got Mercury case for my original Note 1 and since then I was waiting for them to launch it for Note II. They have now become my go to manufacturers for cases for all my phones.

Do you think that white color case would get stained after a few months of use much like other TPU cases? Is there any way to order these without that antenna cut-out on the left side? It offers no scratch/drop protection on that corner.

beware, there are many fakes, if you are getting them from ebay, stay away from sellers from hong kong and china, may be other countries as well.
seller from korea are a safe bet, but cannot be too sure.

I have this case in pink and even though that corner is exposed it is a good case mines is tight and it isn't slippery in my hand.

can you show me the under side with the stick, then I can be 100% sure.

I got three of these...light blue, black and white. they look great and fit great. I think they are the nicest looking cases I've had in any of my phones. so yeah, i'm stoked. specially for the light blue. great shade.

Arg this thing is so damn slippery. One of the main reasons I got a case was the phone was always slippery (although I tend to be a little more oily than most).
I loved the Incipio Feather on my iPhone. Slightly grippy. I like the protection and have contemplated going to something like the Rearth Slim because I love the slim cases, but would hate to see what happens in a drop. I did drop my iPhone twice while in the feather and the feather took the brunt of the damage, which was great.

Slim Flip Case

About to pick up a 7 today and want to get a good case for it. I'm looking for one that adds very little bulk, yet has a flip cover and that doubles as a stand. I've seen the Poetic Slimline and Speck Fitfolio so far and both seem pretty good but I just want to make sure I haven't missed any other options. Thanks!

I've heard a lot of talk about the poetic but I'm curious if the plastic back part gets all scratched up if it gets placed in bags or desks often. I'm also curious about other options.

I've tried about all of them except the speck and my favorite is the moko slim fit. They even have one in real leather now.

It's durable, feels good to carry around and has a lifetime warranty so if you wear it out they'll send you a new one.
The poetic slimline falls apart after about a week. It's good while it lasts.

If you're the type of person that prefers quality made things then stay away from the Poetic case! I regret buying the Poetic. I just barely received it today and can't stand this cheap quality case. After owning cases for iPads and Kindles, I don't even know how anyone can tolerate these poorly made cases.

Thats pretty cool looking. Looks alot like my Speck case.
My buddy has a poetic case and between my Speck and his the speck is a bit better. His is slightly thinner but the magnetically closing front isnt as good as the specks clasp. The clasp holds much better in a bag than the magnet and the speck has far superior viewing angles for the stand.

I don't understand the Poetic-hating. I love mine. Had it for a couple weeks now, and it is holding together fine. No fraying. This thing is as good as I could've asked it to be.

Already got pleson tempered glass on. Order this case late June and still waiting...
So itching to put my baby in this case. I am using OnePlus one tudiA case on my onplus3 for temporary protection. Surprisingly, it fits quite nicely but not perfect.

Ok. I just got this case yesterday, coming from the bugdroid. And grip-pro? Or grip-NO?? Yes, this is a very nice case, however, there is absolutely no grip at all! It's basically just engraved hard plastic, which offers no grip...lol. I will keep it for now. But it's definitely nothing like the grip Speck cases offer. I wish they made one for the 1+3. Oh well.

I like it a lot...especially the design on the back. That's the best part. The grip is nice on the back too. But it doesn't wrap around the phone too snuggly. It might be because of the TGSP I have though. And it doesn't offer a great deal of protection. It's just a tpu material.

Yeah I agree, the main reason I got one was for the design. I did a review on it and concluded the same

Just got the orzly case. Got it during preorder for super cheap. So far, case is amazing.
