Unlock bootloader
install this on CWR
See last time I was unlocked my Bootloader and I had installed the CWM Recovery on my HTC Sensation XL. When I was trying to flash the firmware, something went wrong and my phone has bricked. Later that I have given the HTC 300 US Dollars to replace the Main Board. So, Now I dont want to unlock my Bootloader which will void the Warranty. Even we relock the Bootloader also the warranty Void. It will appear as 'Relocked' when we switch on the mobile in Recovery mode. So HTC will not provide any warranty even we relocked the Bootloader.
Hence, I kindly want you to provide me an alternative solution for to get out of this issue. I will be thankful to you in this regard and I will donate you if you wish for to support you for your future developments.

Alternative solution for now is not possible without unlocking bootloader. So there are 2 options. You not flash what so ever, or you flash and there is a risk to brick the phone again
Finally I got root for my HTC Sensation XL by unlocking the Bootloader
Thanks for everyone who has helped me to get the root access for my HTC Sensation XL. After unlocking my Bootloader, I had install the ClockWork Mod Recovery and the Superuser application through CWM Recovery. Thanks for all.

My SD Card is not working on My HTC's Sensation XL after I installed the custom Rom
Today morning I had installed the custom Insanely Cool Sense Rom By Three Muskeeters and the phone was working really fantastic. Lot of improvements like more batter life, good Wi-Fi signals and also the Network radio and the fabulous performance. But later, I have found that my SD card only shows the size of 234KB. I was wondering and I had restarted my Device into Recovery and formatted the SD card which results the SD card cannot be mounted. I tried several times, but no possibilities. Later I restarted my device which doesnt boot into the Android OS. Now, I dont know how to reinstall my Backup ROM which I have with me over the ClockWork Mod Recovery. Because, I dont have the access to my SD Card to copy the Backed up ROM. Now what can I do?
Shall I have to give my mobile to the HTC Service center for repair? or if any other way to remount my SD card. I have tried to format and mount the SD card through CWM Recovery. But it fails.
Can Someone help me how to make my device works again? I will be thankful to you if you help me in this regard.
If I give my device to the HTC Service center, Sure they will charge me again 300 US Dollar to replace the main board. I am residing in United Arab Emirates. Here people dont even look at the phone to figure out the real issue. They use to say that you have to replace your main board in order to make your phone work. I have already paid 300 US Dollar before when I was not familiar with the CWM.
That time when I have given my phone to HTC Service center, My CWM Recovery and SD card is working fine. But I dont know how to install the Custom Rom Via SD card over CWM. Because of the device unlocked, they charged me 300 US Dollar to repair my phone. They told that I had damaged the main board of my device. I was really wondering that time.
Now, I really need your help guys. Kindly give me the proper appropriate solution to get back my device working. Thank you.

you have to install a stock rom which is in exe format after that just plug the phone and open it folow the instructions and the stock rom will do the rest.
PS your bootlaoder must be locked before flashing the stock rom.
if i was help full please press the thanks button it wont heart.
Idk if this would help but anders3408 has an ad card fix for common errors like that, give it a go?
And there is a method around the 'relocked' bootloader, if your device is bricked completely and 100%, download your correct ruu, and flag it, the install will fail but your bootloader will say 'locked' not 'relocked' there for reviving warrenty!

I am wanting to install different ROM in my cellphone.
I follow all the instructions in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1466436 until after I install RCMix3d.zip it turns all black. I think I soft-bricked my phone. I cannot go to the home screen anymore but I can still access the bootloader and go to fastboot. Now, I relocked my bootloader so I can install HTC Stock Image (RUU) unfortunately I haven't been able to flash the right stock image back to phone. I already downloaded 3 RUUs:
RUU_Runnymede_HTC_ARA_1.08.415.4_Radio_20.5101.30.0822_3822.10.10.12_M_release_224880_signed
RUU_Runnymede_hTC_Asia_TW_1.24.709.2_Radio_20.5102.30.0822_3822.11.10.30_M_release_232503_signed
RUU_RUNNYMEDE_ICS_35_S_hTC_Asia_TW_2.28.709.1_Radio_20.66.30.0831U_3831.15.00.20_M_release_254137_signed
I don't have access to the homescreen, So I can't find out my CID to figure out my region. When I run the 3 RUU's it say that my image version is 2.33.415.1. So my question is, is there anyone here who can help me and is there anyone here who have the right RUU for my SXL? please mirror me the link :crying::crying::crying:

To find out your CID. Connect your device to a PC in fastboot mode, open a command prompt and type in "fastboot getvar cid"

First, you have to make sure all the HTC drivers downloaded and installed in ur computer and then follow vertigo's guide for rooting.

I would use the other method, where you are explained all the steps involved in rooting, it's pretty easy too.

Hey all, just created the account after a couple days of browsing and stubling across dead links and information my brain didn't want to understand. I'll cut the story down to the bare essentials, but any help and guideance would be great.
Basically, I got a desire 510 as a temporary phone, needed a screen repair but I already had one on hand from my old dead 510, so I got that all done successfully and went ahead and booted the phone. I was greeted with a boot loop, so thought I would flash a new ROM via TWRP. So I installed TWRP and then found what I assumed to be a UK ROM and installed it. Since then I have had no OS and can't seem to install one at all. This is all on the HBOOT menu. The layout is as follows.
A11_UL PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-3.19.0.0000
RADIO-01.02.012_U10251_39.8.40922
OS-

Not I'm no expert, but I'm sure there is supposed to be something in the OS section lol.
Basically, I'm looking for as much help as possible to sort this out in the simplest way. I'm not sure if I'll need the recovery image and kernels, but either way, someone who knows more will be able to let me know.
I believe this is a Vodafone device if that makes any difference.
Thanks.
Reinstall the ROM with HTC official software, find one for your region / provider and follow instructions, Good Luck.
You need to re-lock the bootloader tho.
