On JB .140 every time I reboot it acts like I've wiped the dalvik cache but I haven't. I get android is upgrading for 57 apps?

I dunno what firmware do u use but what u can do is:
1. Open Sony Pc Companion and REPAIR your phone in case u hadnt a nandroid backup
Other method:
--------------------
1. Install Flashtool 0.9.11.0
2. Flash Stock Firmware (latest is 12.0.A.2.245) marking EXCLUDE DATA (for no lose your apps, configs)
3. Enjoy

Just tried, same situation. Likely I will have to flash the rom freshly. Thanks for your advice anyway. Cheers

Yes, no data wipe is required. I'd wipe cache/davlik, though.
Thanks!
Gapps included?

Yes, everything bundled with stock - nothing removed.
I'm coming from 4.3 deodexed Parandroid. I am going to flash this but have much stuff on my sdcard, will that be wiped or can I avoid that entirely and just wipe data and cache and go from there?

It won't wipe anything, so you'll want to wipe those manually (cache & data). Your files on the SD will not be erased (as long as you don't do it manually in recovery).
will there be a deodexed version?

If you're so scared of losing your data, isn't it common sense to put your data elsewhere?

Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.
If you have your stock firmware's nandroid backup then restore it and before restart wipe dalvik cache and then reboot! Or go to xposed installer>module >uncheck all module and restart!
