How machiavelian are you? - Off-topic

Do this test and tell us?
http://personality-testing.info/tests/MACH-IV.php
In case you dont know what MACH IV is, here is a quick descrption:
"Niccolò Machiavelli (1469–1527) was an Italian politician and philosopher who is famous for his advocacy of political ethics that hold effectiveness as more important that morality. He is the source of the phrase "the ends justify the means".
In the 1960s, social psychologists Richard Christie and Florence L. Geis, who collected statements from Machiavelli's writings and asked people how much they agreed with each, concluded that Machiavellianism exists as a distinct personality trait. They published the MACH-IV in 1970 and it has been a popular instrument ever since. "
I have a score of 87. But then, why should you trust me?

You poor trusting soul. SMH...

that design is.. very specific ^^
nvm
Your score was 79 of 100.
This puts you in the category of the high Machs, people who do not belive in the goodness of the world and that because that it must be manipulated, people who Machiavelli would approve of.

well ok.

Really good books

I don't want this to be a thread for avid book reads.
I don't read much and i am wondering if there are any people out there that don't really read much but have picked up a book, read it, and thought "that was excellent!"
Does anyone know what i mean?
My book is Iam Legend by Robert Matheson
it s what the film with will smith is based on.
I just thought it was excellent!!!
my bro has an eee 1000h ... pretty good net book if ya ask me , dunno who wrote it who

Being a Culinary student, I'd say you should pick up "Kitchen Confidential" and "Medium Raw" by Anthony Bourdain. Really quite fascinating reads. The guy is just so damn blunt, and a master of words. And it's all autobiographical.
I honestly did not like to read years ago.
but, recently ive been reading more, if you are into computers, technology, or physics.
you might like these:
"The Last Lecture"
"A Brief History of Time"
"iWoz" (im not a fanboy)
"The Elegant Universe"
"Physics of the Impossible"
"Parallel Universes"
Im a physics nut, but you may still like them, they arent too complex
Cheers,

I read Day By Bay Armageddon part one and two.
AND IT WAS EXCELLENT!

Passing the "Planck density" possible?

My physics professor told us about the Planck rules. One of them was the Planck density. The only known place where this state of matter is present is on the equator of the core of (supermassive) black holes. As a natural consequence for a man, I asked myself if its possible for (un)known matter to pass the Planck density. Anyone with extended physic knowledge?

As far as our current knowledge of physics goes, I'd say no.
The only thing more dense than a singularity are most of the people i work with. Some of them are so dense that the gravity alone prevents anything sensible escaping from them.

That just about sums up 99% of humanity.... It is a bloody miracle Earth hasn't turned into a gravitational singularity by now. Human stupidity defies the laws of physics, so it is a serious possibility....
