Don't know what happened to the phone.
The navigation bar "BACK HOME TASK manager" disappeared! It's is very annoying to restart the phone everytime when I use different APP.
Pls. help!

Im using the Go Launcher with Honeycomb Theme and today when i turned the phone ON the Launcher is force closed.
The phone is "working", i can turn volume up and down, can acess ATK but i can acess nothing of the system cause every time the Go Launcher force close.
When i press the force close button it just appear again and ask to force close and it keep going on and on and on...
Can anyone help me??

Try to change the theme, I have no issues using go launcher. You can also remove user settings from manage apps, if you run out of ideas. Though it will realy wipe all go launcher settings.
Problem solve with a factory reset.
PS: I wasnt able to acess any options menu, i could acess only the status bar.

I'm facing strange problem with one of the application which I installed on HTC Incredible S. The shortcut is added on home screen. I tried this shortcut to move/remove by long pressing it, but Personalize screen gets open each time. I'm able to move / remove rest of the icons from screen but with this particular app shortcut i'm facing the said issue.
I tried uninstalling application but the icon did not disappear from home screen. So tried re-installing and then uninstalling the application but this also did not work. Even rebooting the application I'm not able to move/remove this app icon.
I'm using
Android version - 2.3.5
Software version - 3.09.720.1
Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

I have had my Sony Xperia Z for 6 days and it's been great up till this evening.
When I touch to open applications, it doesn't respond and this happens with all apps. However the on-screen buttons and swiping through the app drawer/home screen were still working without problem and if after many tries an app opens, the in-app operation was smooth.So the problem is just in the opening apps from home screens and app drawer.
After a while I've come to notice that the apps only opens when I touch the upper left corner of the icon of the apllication. This is a bit frustrating.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

download Xperia Diagnostic and check touch screen
OR *#*#7378423#*#*
if u get problem then try to flash another *stock kernel*
OR repair by sony update tool
IF ur problem remain then go to sony service.

I repaired using Sony update last evening, it was good but this evening the problem came back
2 things:
1-you are using a charger not the stock one that came with the phone?
2-you disabled the animations in developer options?

1. No, I am using the stock charger
2. Yeah, I did disable animations. Re-enabling it didn't help neither
1st back track what you did before this started to happen.
-what did you install
-what did you flash
-what settings did you change
etc...
2nd did you do a full wipe of the internal after repairing it with Sony Update Service?
1) backup your files
2) Repair it with Sony Update Service
3) settings > back up and reset > factory data reset
if the problem still remains
flash another FTF file and they can be found here

There is apparently a bug in our phones, did u set no animation scaling in developer options? If u did, revert back to. 5 or 1 and reboot. should fix the issue
I search all q/a section and google but i can't find what i want.
I have z1 and i want the mark as read option for sms from notification bar like
Z2 and z3. I have stock rooted 4.4.4
I install conversation apk from z3 but still nothing.
Anything i can do?

Wait , you want to disable notifications from the sms app , right ?
No. The opposite.
Z2 at notification bar have an option to mark as read the text messages.
Z1 not. I want z2 option to z1.
I want this option from z3 to z1

I just updated my xperia z3 compact (D5803) to android 6.0.1 (23.5.A.0.570). Just wondering how to remove the search bar / search application / suggested in the apps menu.

I have the same problem, and what works on other Androids to remove this annoying screen (go to "Settings", "Google", "Search & Now" - last option on bottom) does not exist on Xperia C3.
