I have a big problem.... I installed Dolphin Browser to my Galaxy Mini, and it wanted to set a shortcut on my homescreen, but all three homescreens were already filled with widgets and shortcuts... Then Touch Wiz launcher (TWLauncher) crashed and I tried to reboot, but it still kept vibrating and sending a error message (to force shut down TW Launcher) so it doesn't display menu, just 4 icons on the dock (call, message, menu and contacts) Only feature which I can access is task manager... So i need some software or something to reset the phone to factory settings... Please help me, the phone is one week old, and it already doesn't work...

I have a bigger problem , my phone (Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570) is old about 3 weeks, and I have unofficial android 2.3.4 GingerBread. I can´t turn on mobile, when I hold power, then all freeze. I can´t turn on Recovery mode, too. Home+Power Button... I don´t know why , When I hold home+power, then will be there a picture with mini mobile who is connected to mini PC, on black background, ... please help me , sorry about my english.

Go to download mode, google it's if u don't know! Find odin and flash a new firmware, go to sammobile if u want all tools and u can find everything here on xda

and try the ODIN, but nothing, I get the same error Setup Wizard. How do I remove the settings that let sawpper 2 on my phone? also i get com.google.process.gapps:crying::crying:
Can you boot to download mode Vol Down+Home+Power, or do you have any custom recovery+backup for recovery it's Vol Up+Home+Power? Or if you plug your phone to PC, can you get ADB interface working?
P.S.: I don't think that our kernel support swapping at all as I read requirements for Swapper 2 at Play.

I've been running my rooted S3 Mini on Maclaw's CM11 for about 20 days. (My carrier: Life Mobile, which is a UK carrier.)
Yesterday morning I updated to the 26th January stable release (20140126). I used ADB to push the file to the internal SDcard, then booted into recovery (clockwork), and installed the update. The phone started up just fine. I used it for about 12 hours with no trouble. Then, all of a sudden, it froze. I think I then powered it down with an extended press of the power button, expecting to be able to power it up again a minute later. But it has turned into a hard brick. To be specific: The power button doesn't turn it on, i.e. doesn't give the little haptic buzz, and doesn't do /anything/ to the screen. Neither three-button combination works either.
I've taken out the battery, waited a few minutes, put it back in. The phone wasn't particularly low on power, but I plugged it into the charger for over an hour. I've used another charger (the USB cable to my laptop, to be precise -- perhaps that doesn't count?). No sign of life at all, not even a flicker.
Everything I've read about bricking, especially hard-bricking, suggests that if it happens due to mis-romming, it happens straight away -- my update worked for 12 hours, so I'm puzzled. I hadn't recently dropped the phone, and I hadn't got it wet.
The action I was performing when it froze /may/ be informative(?) I was trying to change the "storage" location for my Osmand app (a google maps replacement that uses OpenStreetMap data, and offers the option of saving several maps to storage to save on mobile data) from internal to external SDcard. The maps are already in my external SDcard -- I just wanted Osmand to realise that they are there. I can't fathom why that would freeze the phone, let alone brick it, but someone may know more than me. (Did I unwittingly put in the wrong directory and get osmand to overwrite something imporant!?)
Does anyone have any idea what can have happened to my phone? Thanks in advance.

No man cant help when it wont boot but does offline charging works? if it works then try to go to download mode a repeated times u may get in to it eventually happend to me once butnever do a power off again like when copying anything
it may go to service center
and hey forgot try adb for download mode

I don't think offline charging is working. The screen has been 100% black (i.e. off) 100% of the time since this happened. It /might/ be charging, but it's not telling me in any way.
Been repeatedly trying three-button combo for download mode all day -- to no avail.
Am I missing something about ADB? -- I thought you needed the phone to be on for ADB to be able to detect the device? Command "adb devices" yields nothing, and "adb reboot download" yields "error: device not found".
Thanks for the advice about power-off while copying. I guess this has to be what went wrong. What I was doing wasn't anything like transferring a multi-megabyte file -- it was simply saving a different setting (i.e. a different filepath) into the osmand "storage" options, but maybe osmand then started a copying process.
I will try service centre and re-post here when I hear back. I should possibly have entitled this post "sudden death" rather than brick.

i have the same problem, but after a day or so it started charging, i tried flashing back stock rom but is in constant bootloop
odin didn't gave me any error, but in recovery i get errors cann't mound /sdcard, cann't open /cache/recovery/log

You should go in stock recovery and do a wipe normally the bootloop should be over

Normally, when you flash stock firmware, your recovery is also back to stock

i've tried to flash stock recovery via odin but when i enter recovery it shows up CWM
Then try to do the Factory reset there

Ok, so, you can open cwm recovery and enter download mode? in cwm you can do a wipe, you should wipe data and cache

I can enter cwm and do the wipe, but get some errors like cann't mount sdcard or cann't open logs

Search on this forum how to unbrick this device and do everything it says, good luck..
After i deodex my rom i have some problem, not sure if it related to deodexed rom but since it never happened before, i guess i should ask it here
1. If i do a full wipe my phone stuck at bootanimation for a really long time. I know first boot takes some times but 20min is too long
2. @hastafiesta 's cocore manager doesnt affect mali gpu, everything else work
3. If i try to connect usb storage to pc, it open an app titled "media volume", then it say Unfotunately, SystemUI stopped. I tap ok then after 10sec it show that again. Disable adb doesnt help

I tried to root using the towel apk whick worked perfectly
i did some changes like dpi which worked
but then i tried to install xposed framework + jb module and now nothing happens
i did not install any recovery
the led of the phone does not turn on when i connect it to the cable
power + volume up doesn't do anything!
i just bought the phone a week ago

How full was your battery? Does your pic recognize the phone? Do flashmode and fastboot work?

Just install flashtool on ur pc and download stock firmware for ur mobile. Go to flashtool and flash firmware. Dont attach the usb till flashtool ask

You can salvage your phone by using flashtool.In case you are having difficulties inbox me will guide you

the battery was pretty low
when i plugin the phone (charger & pc), no led turns on, nothing happens.. (no sound) - before installing the flash tool.
i have tried to press vol up + power(at the same time) for more than 15s, still nothing. also tried vol down + power(same time), still nothing..
now ive installed the flash tool that sony provided, everything installed ok on my pc, but it requires me to login.
i did the new account thingy, but i dont get the registration mail....checked junk... still waiting
i haven't tried to connect it to the pc after installing the flash tool yet.
now i keep it charging, even though nothing happens, cos i know it takes at least 50% or more to flash rom again (if it works ( )

but the problem is the same. no mater how i connect the phone to my pc, (vol up +power or vol down + power), still doesnt work (
what am i doing wrong?
the app tells me to connect the phone but nothing happens..

No this means that u have hard bricked ur phone. Just go to customet care and ask them to look into it. If they ask what was u doing with phone when this happened, just tell them u were updating the phone. Just this much nothing else.

Well... Say sayonara to your phone. I had the same problem.Led just blinked 3 times when charger was connected.Nothing work. I take it back to the repair centre and they changed the motherboard

I've tried that too
the problem is with the driver. it just wont update, saying that windows determined that i have the latest one..
when i open flashtool and i click on devices, it says that there are 2 connected devices(which i think its only one), but the rest is as follows:

the pc does see the device when i connect it to the pc, making the connected device sound, but the driver fails to install..
i have tried many times to update the driver through flashtool, sdk and so on
im running 32x win 7..
at one point, after i press and hold vol up + power, if i charge it with a different charger, the red led turns on and stays like that for a few minutes, but after it goes dead again.

You have to enable usb debugging. And make sure you have latest flashtool and proper adb drivers
