My work is free and will always be, but you will need my permission before using any of it for non-personal use(This applies to ROMs, Themes, Boot Animations, LWPs).
The thread title will end with the status [OPEN] or CLOSED. Open means that there is little to no backlog and closed means that I have way too many requests already. You can still request when closed, but you should be aware that I could be taking a lot more time to work on your requested wallpaper.

The reason why they are not thumbnailed or linked is because the details are quite fine and walls are not that big that they will over stretch screens, unless someone is still using 800x600. LOL.
I will be adding some more. Just haven't thought of a clean way of putting it all out there yet. Maybe I should just throw it all in an APK, or keep zipping it up in the OP.

Created by me but idea was pongster's. Comes in a few shades to suit everyone's liking. It has no name, but the idea was diagonal lines, minimal, blurred and smoked. If any of you are interested in having these in a special tint with something written, I can customize it for you. Just ask and be kind enough to thank me! A little goes a long way like someone said.

I appreciate the comment and it makes me VERY proud of my work. The whole point of this thread is to have MINIMALISTIC wallpapers. That is, not a lot at all... Very minimal.

Could you create a wallpaper where you mixed leedroids logo together with a thunderbolt through a phone (you know what the thunder is for, right ). The background could be anything as long as it is dark colors (not pink, white etc).
Oh yeah, the phone I want this wallpaper for is a Htc desire HD.

Not sure if you wanted "XDA" in it too. You might experience color banding since the EVO supports 65K. I will try work on something(resolution/color/pixel type/color depth etc...). Check back soon.

Was wondering if you could do me one that says "Xperia Play" on there, any sort of style really, it's completely up to you

Cool Wallpapers (Me messing around in Photoshop)

Hello fellow XDA'ers, I have started to play around with Photoshop and basically decided to create some simple yet beautiful wallpapers that will go great for any Android Device. I will try my best to have a 480 by 800 Resolution and if ever the images are bigger, you can simply crop them and personalize the style.
I posted my first Wallpaper on the Simple XDA Wallpapers thread and a few people took a liking to it, so I thought why not create my own thread where I can post some new wallpapers that I make as a hobby. So without further a due, we begin!
P.S. Hope you like them. I'll try to post a new one everyday
BTW, anyone is free to post their own Wallpapers

Quick Note:
I do not make wallpapers from scratch! I use free wallpapers from the web, and use Photoshop tools to edit them into what I would like it to look like, so a lot of credit goes to the actual creators, All Right Reserved!

I used the Galaxy Nexus' Phase Beam live wallpaper screenshot and an abstract picture of boxes. Tweaked a little bit here and there, added the caption using the Droid Font and voila!

Spent some more time on this one since I had to do a bit more of cropping, some blurring, looking for the Roboto font, overlaying couple of stuff and adding a couple of effects. Anyway, hope you like it

Number Three:
This one contains some WoW love! Basically took the For The Horde emblem and placed Andy in the center. Applied a couple of effects here and there. Enjoy!

Number Four:
This wallpaper was made using a customized Andy from Androidstickers.com. After that I looked for a Metallic textured background, duplicated it to fill the whole 480x800, then applied some sharpening and other goodies. Enjoy!

Number Five:
I really enjoyed doing this one and up to date it is the most "complicated" as it involved quite a lot of tools. Firstly, I got hold of some HD Galaxy Nexus Wallpapers, then created a new GN Wallpaper. From there I, applied some Abstract Art and layered the colors on top. After that, I applied a couple of effects, put many Bots and done! I have created the Android Army @ XDA Developers

Its Named: Red Magic 2013.
Credits:
Iconsfaffinator.(My Dear Friend. I have used your icon base to make this new Icon set).
Lockscreen: Ivan. (My friend, I have modded the XIRO lockscreen to get this effect).

This has a New Jelly Bean Clock from a Chinese Site, which was modded to this theme.
A New Dock for the MIUI by me.

I understand though. This theme looks amazing. If you made a version specifically for HD resolutions, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

unless your link gives a different download then no, im not day dreaming. Sure a theme is applied...lockscreen looks much different than your screenshot, the statusbar is much different than yours...i can see no "new" animations
post a video of the theme on your phone, or at least screenshots from your actual phone

I have same problem, something seems fishy. The theme title was something like "iphonev5" so I deleted it. The icons matched but the lockscreen looks nothing alike. Here are screens:

[SKIN] Player Pro Holo ICS (HDPI)

Hi guys,
I hope that I don't get in trouble for this...
PlayerPro, popular music/video player for android. It has few skins available in Play Store, but nothing for our precious amoled screens. We have ICS Skin, but with all due respect it has not so much ICS in ICS and for sure it's not amoled friendly.
So today I took Pure White Player Pro skin and redesigned it to match (more or less) my desires for a skin.
I'm not sure if I should post it here, but the skin is free on Play Store, doesn't have any protection from modding, so what the hell...
If this is not OK, then I'm sorry, please Mod delete this thread.
I don't think there are any bugs, but let me know if you find one! For now it's only HDPI, but maybe I'll make MDPI version. When you install it with Pure White skin on board it'll probably ask you to override... sorry for that.
Feel free to mess with this! Skin looks amazing on amoled screen :silly:

I'd like to mod this theme, adding orange colours, but i'm have a certain dificult to find more infos. How i can change the blue scheme colours for the orange? I must extract the PNG's and modify in photoshop or exist a form to edit all (colour scheme)?

Hi,
Yes, you must edit images, and/or xml's. You can do that by decompiling package, editing, and recompiling + sign. There are tons of tuts here on xda, you can look for APK-Multi-Tool, which I personally use. Good luck!

All MDPI devices suffer in Playback Mode with Player Pro because the album art cover is too big and is not displayed entirely on the screen, because of the bottom Star-Rating-Bar, and the very large height of the buttons and the header too. There is currently no skin for Player Pro which minimize them in order to display entirely the album artwork for MPDI devices. It is really annoying and frustrating...
Hiding this Star-Rating-Bar would be very cool too in order to have a look even purer.

I don't own a MDPI device, but theres one in my family, when I get my hands on it I'll surely do a port of this skin, and will look at things you mentioned.
But on the other hand I don't know if it's a good idea to do this now, when PlayerPro update is few weeks from us. I heard that the update is coming by the end of the month. Maybe some layout changes, new skins, bugfixes. This could mean my skin will get pretty outdated

Seriously, this app works so fine that I really wonder what they will add.
The eternal problem of maintaining... you're right. Anyway, today I motivate myself to make some modding to an existing skin... It's not achieved yet, but the result is not too bad for a first try... and now, I'm a little less annoyed than before.

Before trying this out, did you do something with the files compared to the Xperia S theme?
Because I tried out the files in the XS-thread, and it was awful how it looked on my XV.
I'm assuming that you did, but I'm still asking

Now I'm assuming that nothing is fixed, and that the menu still looks bad?
I'll try it out first and report back ofcourse.
Edit2: It still has the same bug as earllier.
The menu background is bugged. Its not wide enough, so where the scroll is it loops the background. Looks horrible.
Also the quality on the background is baaaad. Its way too bright and the overall quality (resolution) seems to be low.
Am I really the only one experiencing this?
Since there has allready been a few comments here saying there isnt anything wrong with it. I'm not using CM or anything. I'm using a tweaked stock ROM running 4.0.4

Well I am not sure exactly what bug you are talking about. Xperia S and Xperia V has got similar size of screen and i am not facing any trouble while scrolling. Post in the XS thread, may be others can help there.

Well.. no, they dont actually.
The technical size is the same, but the XS got an physical bottombar with back \ home \ applications. While the XV got the software bottombar.
So the resolution used is smaller on the XV. I'm only guessing this is why it doesnt work properly.
I'll reinstall it yet again to show you a screenshot on how it looks on the XV.

In the Xperia S thread someone suggested a solution, try that for Xperia V.
That was happening to me as well. I changed the "framework" folder permission to rwxr-xr-x , rebooted the phone and it solved the issue. I hope it can help you too. by ChFriedli

Xperia V takes up some space for the on screen button at the bottom that Xperia s doesn't. But I guess the theme shouldn't be a problem because of the same pixel resolution. Did my theme had any similar issue?

@ dmbardal: Check here, I have enabled on screen navigation button in my Xperia S but i don't see any distortion in the theme background. I am not sure, but i guess may be something is not right from your end.
@Arnob : What do you think? Should there be any problem because of the buttons?

I don't think so. Maybe a ROM issue like many problems at the XPS .45 fw for mods of .50
Can anybody share a stock Xperia V theme? Lets take a look at it. Right Auni?
