Very useful to have an overview, thanks. You can add chinacat.ttf as well. My wife uses this, works great.

i would love the Nokia font...
Exactly what I was looking for.
I have tried Fairy Dust, Magic School and Nosferatu but none of them works with non English characters (i.e: ț ă ș).
I was suprised to find that these work on my HD2 running Froyo
I tried Worstfeld, Contrary Mary, Alex, and settled on Nosferatu...Thanks a lot
I really would like this rounded font that I see in a lot of the "post your homescreen" posts. (please see attachment)
if this is running on 2.2 milestone?
make the font bigger
Many thanks
I’m using “Sony Sketch” and it looks great. However little too small so how do I make the font size bigger?
Tried “spares parts” but doesn’t work and app called “Font Size” from the market is not free, so there any FREE APP that allows you to change Font Size or is there a way to do this with ADB?
if I actually want a smaller font.
and it can be used in all applications. eg its Home screen or browser.
thanks before n after. ur fonts tricky working fine. on my milestone 2.2 nice sharing.

Just to let you know
Hi Love your thread
Have been mucking about with fonts all day.
What it doesn't mention in the thread is that you can goto any free font web site and download ANY .ttf file (as a zip, then extract and drop into the .fontchanger folder)
this means that the font choice is endless!!!! oh and be seriously cool.
Hope you don't mind, had to share the good news with my fellow streakies on the Dell Streak forum.
Thanks for the post has made my weekend (I know sad lol !)

FEATURES(Edited 30/04/12) IN SECOND POST
SCREENSHOTS UPLOADED
I just wanted to start doing a ROM for our Lil´G that has the feel of the beautiful Windows Phone 7.
It will be based in cm7 by mebitek because of performance and stability.
Also I need your help, developers and guys with ideas, so we can make a great ROM toghether.
I will upload the first version when it is complete, so if you are interested stay tuned and don´t forget that I prefer if you give me some ideas than if you donate
A few releases after the first(You can think of v4.0 or v5.0) I'm planning to make this more than simply a themed and modded ROM. Just wait until I get a new PC
Screenshots(will upload a video some day, but that day, is NOT today):
Features
Ok, guys, here we go:
FIRST OF ALL, THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO POSTED IDEAS
Second, please continue giving me some ideas to make a very good ROM.
And third, features v1.0:
(REMEMBER IF YOU DONT WANT A FEATURE OR HAVE A REQUEST JUST TELL ME)
-Updated to latest CyanogenMod 7.2.0-RC1 by mebitek(thanks very much to him) *
-Subpsyke's old ROM kernel. * (duh, it was the same. Facepalm for me.)
-Change launcher, messaging app, phone app, keyboard, calculator, music, and some more to WP7 style.
-Bareboned a little bit*
-Theme framework, statusbar and fonts, etc.
-Add beats audio, Xloud and bravia engine.
-Delete DSP Manager(doesn´t work with the three two mentioned above)
-Delete some not necessary apps.
-Add WP7 Notifications POPUP 7 lite.
-Add some tweaks
-Add updated hosts file *
-Change default settings to make it better at the beggining(if someone knows how to do this...)
-A very long etc............
*:New
The red colored means they are done.
The blue colored means they are done and tested.
The silver are cancelled features.

Yay, now that I have fallen in love with WP7-style
For people who want WP7-launcher, download Launcher 7 from Play Store. And if your device is rooted, download adfree from Play Store and you have Launcher 7 without ads

Good, make sure you add "adfree" to the list, since Launcher 7 and Launcher 7 donate have the same features, except Launcher 7 has ads, and if you use adfree the ads are gone

Okay I will add it
You can't add paid software to the ROMs.
Launcher 7 is the best wp7 launcher for Android.
WP7 Lock for the unlock screen. It's perfect.
WP7 Phone for phone app and WP7 Contacts for contact app.
for the keyboard, Smartkeyboard pro have windows phone 7 skin.
Messaging Metro Beta is the best sms app I can find. But still need some improvements.
I love Uber Music for the music app. but it's a paid app
Add the free launcher 7 and use adfree! Nobody said that wasn't allowed!

Though I am not a Mini User, but still I have suggestions:
->Use "WP7 NOTIFICATIONS" from the playstore for copying the notification type just like in Windows7
->for Music I consider using "n7 player" from the play store!. It has somewhat better UI then other Music Player and also a lil bit innovative!...
-> I recommend "WindowsPhone Locker" for the WP7 lock!..(search for it on Google, cause Im not sure if its available on the market)..
Keep up ur project dude!..Best of Luck!

Hello
I have found Color OS Oppo Launcher on other sites/threads that can be used on other devices (may need some dpi adjustments as needed) but wondering if there are any that works for this or have been tried? Am getting my pro in a few days and asking in advance. Thanks. Also the ones out there do not have a working theme switcher (not sure if the gestures work either..like 3 finger swipe down for screenshot, 2fingers up down for volume adjustment etc) Thanks!

edit: added 4 screenshots from 2 themes but this is for a ported Color Os rom on a Chinese 7 inch phablet
may not be to taste of many..but wondering as this rom is very easy to use and simple/smooth

thanks, yes not the true tablets although they have come as far as 7 inch 1920x1200 FHD devices like coolpad 9976 etc.
found this..there was a developer port competition organized? by Oppo earlier this year
http://bbs.coloros.com/rom/
see the list of devices..click on the left-most Color Os square tab to the right of what looks like some media player and scroll through the devices/roms
http://www.gizmochina.com/2014/03/27/oppo-is-open-the-coloros-rom-contest/
but then being 4.2.2 maybe not much interest in this

maybe more along the lines of having that rom ported (my question was not correct to begin with) I have a Chinese 7 inch 1920x1200 phablet that has the rom ported (works very well) but is 4.2.2. (simple to use, themes are great) Anyway seeing so little development (no offence to anyone, to be expected for such a device) doubt anything like this would ever make it.
Which one do you guys recomend for theming. I have been running substratum with Nova.
I like the theme store a lot. I'm running a nice dark theme with some purple in it. I've heard of substratum, but never actually used it.
I haven't used Nova on this, so far. I never thought I'd utter these words, but I'm liking touchwiz on the Note 8!

however... now TouchWiz has the option to swipe down to pull the notification bar down and Substratum is here...
im using a mixture of Substratum / Overlays from XDA / Theme from Samsung theme store with TouchWiz
Also because of these new updates this is my first ever device i have not rooted (YET)
That's pretty big for me!

I prefer substratum and another launcher. Some of the theme store themes look pretty good but the themers are only allowed theme the samsung apps and you end up with the cohesiveness of your theme looking bad.

this was my issue when i used Nova, annoying seeing everything themed and then opening the edge panel and all the icons being totally different.
however the only thing that kept me off touchwiz was the notification bar not being able to be pulled down from anywhere, but now that's 'fixed' ive been using the theme store and overlays... only substratum theme im using is to get the clock centered. still lots more choice with Nova/other launchers but there are some hidden gems in the theme store, or you could even grab some xda themes if you wanna go through the hassle of getting them to stick.
also i dont think substratum has enough choice for Samsung users yet, maybe i am too used to substratum for stock android rom. so much customisation where as for us at the moment barely any in comparison, even less if you are not willing to pay for every theme.

I always forget about the edge panel lol. I'm using Nova now but think I'm going to switch to the theme store for a bit. There aren't a lot of choices at all for substratum yet. I was trying to find a way to change the nav bar but none of the over lays work that I have found.

There's an aosp one in the overlays thread. You could also edit the apk and replace the aosp icons with your own to make your own nav bar using Apkeditor from the playstore

I have 2 x Themes from theme store by Lucas Kendi.
"Blac UI" is a free theme.
His theme has i think the Pixel navbars.
If you install theme it also changes the Samsung
navbar.Also ringtones, notification sound. Etc
So ringtones etc, you have to change back to you preferred ones
His other theme (i have) Oxy black also changes the navbar.
Overall i use a mixture of Nova Prime /Samsung Themes and Klwp themes.
I found that as stated by others Substratum
themes are very limited and not worth installing on Note 8.
As i already have most paid Substratum Samsung Themes
i use them mostly on my spare Note 5.

Looked promising but it creates a theme at the end rather than an installable overlay like substratum. It's a nice tool to make a theme though
(Only problem is I then loose my Samsung theme icons etc) also have to go through the whole getting a 'Free trial' theme to stick
I'm happy with my setup at the moment anyway :good:
The only other issue I had with that app was not enough options to change I could only change a few bits, was hoping to fully black out apps but could only do headers and status bar etc

If your running 9.0, you can no longer use apps like AFont to make a font using ttf which was possible on any galaxy running 8.0.. Not even galaxy theme maker works anymore. Yes there are some fonts in the galaxy store but they are old and basic fonts... Sucks that's samsung removed that feature, same reason substratum no longer works either..

As I understand it, Substratum not working is more of Google's fault than Samsung's. Wouldn't be surprised if the font thing is also Google's fault, but in a way that ends up benefitting Samsung since they get to coax people into buying their fonts.
