yes, that's what I did. then rooted with SuperSU. works fine

I used root with mobile odin and it worked, didn't have to separately root again
note you do lose CWM by the looks of it goes back to stock recovery

Damn both Nova and Apex launchers seem messed up on ICS - too small/shrunken including fonts. Anyone got any recommendations?

It's a .zip file right? So, unzip 1st and then place it in PDA only, switch to download mode, and I'm good to go?
Note: I'm on stock firmware, non-tuned one..

Can anyone explainme what that numbers mean? I always see that in forum's topics of some roms but i dont know what that means. How i know if can i flash that new fw or not?
All i know is I have a S5830MWHLB2 (s5830m) that its the same thing that a s5830i, i can flash roms of that phone in mine, like razordroid, and simplicity, thats all I tested for now.

PHONE: S5830MWHLB2
In samsung firmware, searching for s5830m, the last firmware that appears for my country and company is this:
GT-S5830M Chile (Entel PCS) 2012 December Android 2.3.6 S5830MWHLL1 S5830MCHELL1
But for other countries (México), last one is from January 2013.
So, i suppose to flash just the fw for my country and company (xx/12/2012)? or can i flash mexico's fw (xx/01/2103)? If i do the last thing, i will fxck my phone? will loose signal, 3g, etc etc?

i want to send my phone to warranty. i was relocked my bootloader and i want to flash new firmware.
am i need to flash another firmware and what does it mean branded/unbranded ? Which should i flash ?

Branded is means operator. You need to flash your original fw via Flashtool, than flash again via Sony update service.

Exactly, the SI sale item number changes but your customization number must be for Hong Kong. Regards!

Let me explain you. The SI sales item number are different for each country/region. In Hong Kong there a are a lot of SI because every phone has one different no matter they all are the same, I mean, the black one has one and the white and purple have others
So the important thing here is that you need to flash the one with the Customization Number matching the SI, so try to find the firmware with the customization 1276-7948 because all firmwares are posted with the Customization Number and not with the SI

Yes, finally....But after installing 5.0.1 and sync with Kies, my calendar are totally sucked from device to Outlook and can't get it back to device till now. And I feel some lags on some functions.

I'm now running the 5.0.1 BOC3 FW from my network VodaCom (Vodafone ZA) for a few days and I am experiencing great battery life on my N910F, truly impressed by my beast
Currently sitting at 55%, with 3hrs SOT and 14hours off charge, going to watch some 'Empire' before going to bed. I have found the Note 4 to be truly amazing with battery life, can't complain at all.

Xposed is not compatible with lolipop on Note 4 yet....
It will not boot.
I understood Samsung did some more changes to it's lolipop.

Will this be dropping OTA or do we have to apply this update manually?

Is your Note 4 working fine after Lollipop update?? I'm having problem with SIM-1 and dual Sim Enabled also... Is there anyone else also having the same problem?? Shall I go back to KitKat? I'd appreciate any help in this regards. Cheers!
P.S: I've N9100 Hong Kong version.

I have not encountered that problem, the problem I encountered was the phone become too hot after update, I just reflashed it again and now it's working perfectly without problems. Try reflashing it again. Then clear cache and do a hard reset after reflashing.

My Note 4 is updated to Marshmallow 6.0.1

Hi guys, I just updated my Note 4 to Marshmallow. I just randomly looking for the updates, suddenly 1,3GB update came to my Note 4. THIS IS POLAND FIRMWARE.
Not to much change, on the TouchWiz launcher, just changed icons. We can use Screen off memo now. Marshmallow UI is more smoother than Lollipop UI.
No theme store.
