If you are in AOSP based rom, those code won't work. You need to use some script to enable it.

i am on pure stock 4.1.2 rom and which scritps can you give me?

so you're on stock, I think you need to find a correct code..since I never put my device into dm mode, I never tried anything about it. I'm sorry for the script, I can't help you..search it on xda..

is DM Mode Download Mode? If yes, hold the power, home and volume down buttons at the same time while booting up your phone.

try ##DMMODE# (##366633#), that works for the Verizon version anyway

No custom, pure stock? Rooted? You'll need root for it to work.

Just dial the following keys *#197328640#
Main Menu > [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3]Perso SHA256 OFF > (after choosing this option, wait about 30 seconds, then go back one step by pressing the Menu button then select Back, now you are in [6] Network Lock then choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ ..... wait for a minute then reboot your phone... enjoy!!! There is no confirmation on the phone that the unlock was successfull.... just reboot your phone....
To test, just insert a sim card from a different carrier/provider. If the new sim card works then your phone is now unlocked.

It works I did it on one s3. But make sure your on 4.1.1 or maybe you won't see all the options
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
im on 4.1.2 not all the options were there shame
I'm on 4.1.2 bma6, it can still be done. Follow the same instruction abv. Option (4) to initialise may not be in the menu, but u can check option (1) under network lock that the shv256 enable flag has already changed from 1 to 0.
I don't have another region carrier sim card to test, u can test on your side to see if it works.

SHA256 is now 0 does that mean unlocked or am i missing something cheers
I have just unlocked my s3 lte on ee.
tested with a voda sim and it requested unlock pin. i ignored and did the *# code and rebooted after, and its working
sha256 enable flag = 0 means disabled. It should mean unlock. Put in your germany based sim card to see if it works ....

LTE radio issue

Hello,
I bought an Xperia SP from bulgaria and the model is C5303 who supports LTE bands. The issue is that there is no such an option on settings to select LTE/WDCMA/GSM band. Only GSM and WCDMA. In the secret menu (*#*#4636#*#*) i cant select the LTE/GSM/WCDMA option, or any other option except GSM or WCDMA. When i press LTE option, it returns automatically, to WCDMA Preferred.
Any ideas?
Use flashtools to flash a stock ROM that is for c5303
Sent from my C5303 using xda premium
Thank you. I wait to be approved in order to use flashtool
Have you tried just to reset the phone to factory settings (wipe)? If that doesn't help perhaps you really should flash it with stock rom of your carrier/GSM provider, or at least try kernel only? Could you be so kind and post a screenshot from the normal settings screen, the part where you should have 3 options but you got only 2 (not the via code menu)?

New Method For OD2 Unlock + Domestic GSM

Not My app so i can't provide you with the link but Google is your best friend (Only tested on L720) Its kinda of long as well
1st you need to be rooted and then you need to downgrade to MDC modem.
2nd Install GTv3.1.5.apk (idone app) ,Then install GTUpdate2_v3.1.8.apk and run it, SuperSU will ask to grant it, click Grant, click Update and reboot device.
3rd After reboot run the app and Click {SIM UICC Unlock} Reboot again and insert sim card (T-mobile,AT&T ETC.......)
4th go to Settings menu, Mobile networks, Network mode, Select GSM/UMTS. (I know still no service)
5th Go to phone> dial *#0011# > Press menu>back>menu>key input> "Q" >menu>key input>"0000" wait a few second
Then go to UMTS >DEBUG SCREEN >PHONE CONTROL >NETWORK CONTROL >GCF >Select the top option [1] GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF ON.
It will say "success".
Reboot via the phone’s power menu after.
Finally you should have service on any us carrier and internationally
is this method working?
would i have to odin od2 then downgrade?

Access Service Mode Band Selection

Hello Guys,
my phone is unroot, brand new from 20.01.16.
Firmware is N920CXXU1AOK6
CSC KSA
How can a access the band selection, so i can set to lte band 20 only.
The Code i found
*#0011# (works for access service mode)
More - Press Back
More - Insert Q (don't work)
More - Insert 0000 (don't work)
also
More - Insert Q0000 (don't work)
More - Insert Q1 (don't work)
More - Insert Q0 (don't work)
The Code
*#2263* also don't work.
Has anybody a idea or a code how do can i access the band selection without root?
I tried with phone info, but also don't work.
thanks
Nobody have a idea?
I have tried all the codes I could remember that used to work and have had no luck.
I would like to know this too
Are you trying to set Band Priority? If you are, then you need to use ##DATA#.
https://mega.nz/#!ENIyhZqR!SWkbnmIV_FdWBWpVoF3JAOUPIB2sDivB7SjoZ5dPTc0 Flashing this firmware seems to enable service menu. Beware though as it doesnt support some sensors in S Health
Click phone then punch code : *#197328640# ->Umts->Debag Screen->Phone Control->Network Lock->Rat_Free_Supporting ON
After you click this you see " Now RAT Free Supporting". Click back button and try setting radio by pressing *#2263#.
RTA will lock back after restarting.

Samsung Galaxy J327t1 hidden menu codes working (T-mobile})

I havent figured out a root strategy quite yet but i am working on it. i do believe there is a way to unlock the bootloader and make it possible to flash custom recovery. I am just missing a few key things in regards to the Hidden Menus dialer codes. If you all could check it out and tell me if you find anything useful please let me know thanks.
Here is a list of the Hidden Menu Dialer codes i have found that work most with description. (some i am unsure of what they do)

*#2884936# - Crypt Auth

**05**(msl/mmi/spc code)# -unlock Sim (mmispc)
if you dont have your T-Mobile sim unlock code then it is easy to get. Simply call your T-Mobile hotline from another phone. Request that you get a sim unlock code because you have accidentally locked your phone. they will have you go through instructions to reset that number. the 6 digit code that they give you will be your msl/spc code that is necessary to unlock your device.
Please try these hidden menu dialer codes and tell me if you come up with anything that i may find interesting towards rooting and oem unlocking the phone. thanks

Found this on android.stackexchange.com don't no if it might help
I found one clue about CP/AP, and it's from a discussion at Android Central. One Galaxy S4 user with AT&T in the US had to use this service menu to switch from CP to AP, in order for Samsung Kies software on the PC to recognize his phone. It kept saying SGH-I337 does not support initialising. It seemed to have something to do with a custom bootloader by AT&T, and it was probably set to CP mode by default. That's a clue, but not a clear fact. Switching it to AP made it recognized in Kies. – samirg Aug 31 '15 at 15:47

Maybe switching it will have u some kind if advantage with the bootloader I'd try myself but my cpu is down and out the moment
Using the *#0808# code of course

This actually isn't working on Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Verizon in 2018. It actually tries to dial an actual phone number, not go to the unlocker. What is wrong with the Verizon version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini? Why doesn't this work on the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Verizon on Android KitKat 4.4.2?

It will work on most but not all models/firmwares.
