After going through various threads in XDA, I have come to one big conclusion. There is no way we can restore IMEI on Ace since we cannot mount efs partition. I wish I'd be wrong. This problem is only fixable at Service Centre's
After I flashed my I8190 with a custom ROM it has the following problems No IMEI (null/null), CSC Unknown, no SIM Card not recognized, but my baseband is recognized (i8190xxamg4)
I read that it might a problem with the EFS folder and that it can be fixed over the nv_data file, but i don´t have the nv_data.bin file in the efs folder.
i have tried every single fix available on the Q&A Forum, flashing stock rom + pit, flashing new baseband even modemfs files and the EFS backup from the thread above but it still doesn´t work.
Does anyone have a nv_data.bin, so i can use it to get my imei back and edit it to my original one, or is there any other fix.
please help me, i really need to get my phone working again asap
thanks in advance
anyone?
a friend of mine has blank IMEI problem. I've tried several ways like EFS pro etc. but they all don't work. Has anyone any Idea how I can make this phone work
You should post this in Galaxy SL section.
Maybe flashing a full DDLF2 will restore it. Try and pray

there is no galaxy sl section so I posted it here with an etiquette.
I've tried it unsuccessfully

I'm sorry for your IMEI mate. Maybe EFS folder and baseband are just unmounted?
You could have restored it with EFS professional only if you have previously created a backup while IMEI was still there. I don't like tools, I would rather use terminal command.
However, the service can restore your IMEI with JTAG. Good luck.

unfortunately I dont have a backup. maybe there's an other way to fix it?

I searched all the forum but i couldn't find any result. Thank you everyone
Sorry for double posting but i searched everything last night but no result.. There isn't any way on S3 Mini to touch the IMEI number except of with any box (z3x,octopus etc) ?
