Hello, I have Galaxy S3 Mini I8190. I have rooted my phone today to Pack-Man 4.4.2. There was no problem while I am using my rooted phone. After all that I decided to unroot my phone and I tried to do that with Odin. I did select Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time and I did install official I8190 4.1.2 firmware. My phone reset himself after installing and stuck on samsung logo. Is there any way I can fix? Thanks.

After you installed successfully a stock rom then you have to do a factory reset in original Android recovery (factory reset with original Android recovery will delete all your data also on internal storage). Or try to reflash the Firmware
I think my problem is I didn't do any wipes in teamwin recovery. I installed the official firmware with Odin and I got bootloop. I don't know how to fix it. I tried the solution examples in this forum and I still have bootloop. By the way I had Cyanogen Mod 11.0 and I rooted Pack-Man 4.4.2 with Odin without doing any cache wipes etc, and I got bootloop after installing it. I really appreciate helps. Thanks.
Yes you ned to wipe cache, dalvik and data when moving from one android version to another. Searxh for a "wipe"-file for i8190 to flash in odin.

Thanks for the help all, I fixed the problem by doing wipe caches.Great community

try to remove your sd card to see if it stops hanging/rebooting. If it does, remove any app that you could have installed in the sd card. Then in your pc format the sd card.
CWM won´t dissapear until you flash the stock kernel since the kernel you flashed has it.
So try to flash the stock kernel for your rom with pc odin, or just reflash a stock rom.
Just flash a different kernel......and everything will be back to normal...frnks latest version is a bit buggy....try speedmod...and flash kernels only on custom roms...not stock roms...
Hi guys.
I was planning to install CM 7.2 on my Galaxy Ace for quite a long time and decided to do it today. I have rooted my phone and installed CWM on it, following steps described on the forum. I have made some backups with CWM and My Backup Root. Everything was fine, I have turned my phone off and back on without any problems. However, after doing the factory reset and clearing cache partition via CWM I cannot get past the bootloop animation, it keeps showing my network logo and Samsung logo. After about 5 minutes I have pulled the battery out and restored the CWM backup, but it didn't help. Any idea of what to do to bring my phone back to life?
Thanks,
Draggy
I have flashed my phone with the latest Samsung Galaxy Ace firmware using Odin, but it didn't help - instead of O2 logo there is only the Samsung animation now. I really don't know what to do.
Try a FULL Odin package, and make sure your phone model is the exact one of the rom you are flashing (5830/5830i etc)

After flashing the new software I had to take the battery out and then go to the recovery mode and do the factory reset again. I think I now need to root my phone again and install CWM, as I've got the stock recovery now. Thanks for help.

The problem is that I haven't done anything wrong. I followed the steps from the forum and I would have never thought that the bootloop may happen because of factory resetting the phone. Anyway, I'll try and get the CM working tonight. :silly:

Okay, the fact you can go to download mode and CWM is excellent. The factory reset and wiping wont fix as their isn't an OS there due to it not installing properly. Just download another ROM to your SD as your current one appears to have an error and flash through CWM.
If that fails use odin and download mode to flash stock ROM on to your phone for a usable device

To be honest its pretty much a generic tutorial for all, just download the KitKat ROM for your phone allong with its Gapps.
Now download the CWM verson for your phone and flash it like before
Once flashed boot your phone up to make sure it works, then copy the ROM and Gapps across. Now boot back into recovery and make a nandroid backup, then select the wipe data/factory reset option and the wipe cache options. Then flash the ROM and Gapps and your phone should have Kitkat

Hello. I'm sorry but actually there's no lollipop for our device, however there is cm 11 with kitkat 4.4.4 but it isn't 100% stable. There's also cm 10.1, the android version maybe be a little old but it's more stable.
To flash this roms, you need this CWM
And for rooting, I think the easiest way is using Cydia Impactor
Boot loop..
Hi. I got a Samsung GT-S6012 that keeps rebooting the Samsung logo and doesn't start. At first I got the phone stuck on the very first logo with Samsung model name. So I did some search. Downloaded Odin and latest 4.1.2 official firmware for that phone model flashed it. Everything worked for a few days but then the battery ran out and phone shut down and when I turned it on again it got stuck on the very first logo and nothing. Then I flashed the same firmware again to get it running and when I checked it the flashing didn't really fully wiped the internal memory cause the data in it was still in tact. So I thought I need full wipe to fix the phone. So installed custom recovery, rooted it and flashed CM 10.1 on it. It was running very smooth everything seemed okay but I wanted the stock rom. So I went to recovery wiped whatever was possible and flashed the stock firmware in download mode again. And now I got stuck on the second Samsung logo and it keeps rebooting it self. I recognize that I cannot wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache in now stock recovery cause it gives me android logo within it a red flag. The wipe cache supposed to fix boot loop problem but it's not an option for me anymore. All I can do now is just enter Download mode. I'm downloading 4.0.4 firmware and gonna try to flash that one see if it works but I doubt. Can anyone suggest me a way to fix it? Please I'm really desperate.
Hello, I have a problem with my phone and I need some help.
I tried to install Kit Kat 4.4.4 using recovery mode (CWM), the install process ran smoothly but it had some issues so I tried to install Lollipop 5.1.1 (CyanogenMod 12.1) 20150412 stable from novafusion using TWRP (v.2.8.1.0) but apparently I made some mistakes, I used the Advanced Wipe tool and deleted (Dalvik cache, System, cache, data, internal storage) after this I can not install any moded ROM.
The phone stays on the "Samsung Galaxy s3 mini" screen.
Can somebody help?
My phone model is GT-i8190L
looks like you need to head over to http://http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/, login & d/l original firmware for ur fone & region, then flash via odin, & start root, custom flash again.............carefully this time & be sure to make full nandroid backup before flashing so you can restore if problems occur......good luck & post again if you need more help
