Nexus S Desktop Dock - $19.99

It appears Best Buy has the Nexus S dock on sale right now for $19.99 instead of the normal $39.99. I picked one up for my Nexus S last night. Be sure to check out your local store if you are in the market

Yikes, just read the reviews on Best Buy's website. Seems that this is not a multimedia dock, but just a piece of plastic that holds your phone while it charges. No speakers or audio input on the dock, nothing multimedia about it.

Then don't buy it

It clearly states in the description that it is designed for you to use the speakerphone and media player while charging the phone. Think of it like a kickstands that charges your phone.

The Nexus S Dock is a bad joke. No comparison to the great Nexus One Dock. I don't want to have to fit in the usb slot every time I put the Nexus into the Dock. With the Nexus you just put the phone on the Dock without fiddling around. I think every Nexus phone should have such charging contacts like the Nexus one did...

I picked one up. If nothing else, it's a cheap OEM charger. They also had an open box Samsung Nexus S car dock for $22.99.
Both work great, especially the car dock. It's nice to have something made for the Nexus S, even though the dock isn't powered (you have to manually plug in the cord). Not a big deal as I've been doing it all along anyway when I get in the car.

yeah this dock is kind of a joke compared to the nexus one dock. i hope the nexus prime or whatever they call it has inductive charging or at least charging contacts like the n1 did.

2nd battery external charger other than a dock!!

so i am looking for a 2nd battery that i can charge externally meaning not on the phone but like a second charger source other than a dock help would be appreciative thanks..

I just read somewhere in a forum today that there is a way to charge a battery just by using a usb cable with one end cut off and the wires exposed. You would have to google it to find it (what the post said). Think that is one option along the lines of what you are looking for.
*EDIT: You said something "other than a dock" in the title, so what I posted above wasn't a dock!

I have one and love it! It comes with a standard battery, and it also charges the extended battery.

I bought my BIONIC from CostCo and they threw that in with my purchase (along with a lot of other stuff).
I have dual extended batteries (best $50 I ever spent) and I charge on in that dock while the other is in my phone.

Yeah I already have standard dock but it doesnt charge batteries

Get one from ebay. They are cheap but does the job. Buy 2 just incase one breaks. If you want to go expensive way, get the OEM which comes with spare battery for around $40-$50. I have both but on ebay one, pins need to be set every time you insert the battery which is kind of pain. Also OEM charges little faster. As I said, even the cheap ebay ones will do the job.

Bought one today at Verizon and it works well. And came with a oem battery.
Took 4 hours to charge the extended battery I also bought at the same time.

Will the razr vehicle dock fit the AHD?

Hi.
I´m from germany, so no easy way to buy the AHD vehicle dock.
Wonder if the razr dock will fit anyhow`?
Any ideas?

I have the RAZR vehicle dock and I tried using the ahd in it. The only way it really sits in is by removing one layer of the plastic Bezel that is specifically designed for the RAZR. Once that is removed the ahd does fit and charge but there is a few mm gap all the way around the phone so it is loose and puts a bit of a strain on the charging port to hold it in place.

Note 2 Dual Battery Charger/Dock 2 amp

I want to buy a dual charger/dock which input and output the 2 amps from my Travel Adapter that came with the phone. I haven't found one. Any ideas will be appreciated.

I have a dock which charges my phone and a spare battery at the same time plus it has a second micro usb socket for data sync and you can rest you note2 on it in landscape mode.

If you have the s-view cover, you have the option of wireless charging with a Qi base.
What is the best charging base or stand out there? Has anyone used one, and can recommend the best?

I liked my wireless Tylt charger for my G3. I'll be using it with my N4. I got it for I think 30 bucks at T-Mobile when it was on sale.

Just to be clear, there are two versions of the S-View cover, one without (49.99) and one with (69.99) Qi charging support. The one with has just become available in the last few days.

Lol, I just learned this the hard way.
The sales Rep sold me the cheaper one a few weeks ago touting its ability to do Qi charging. Lo and behold, it doesn't.
