You can only flash 4.4.2 factory based roms or AOSP roms built on 24A.
Do they have a baseband zip that u can install all the baseband at once?11a-24a?

If your bootstack is already 24A you don't need to flash it again.

I'm running v20c right now but I've got a rom backed up in cwm that's on v20p baseband ... can I use cwm to backup to it or do I need to reflash v20p before I back it up does anyone know ?

Yes it should you just won't flash baseband unless you use LG flash tool so you will have the rom on 20c baseband Wich is the same as 20p I believe someone correct me if I am wrong thank me if I am correct already

I believe your right I didn't think cwm flashed basebands

if it dont work you can use acid hazard to put the stock 20p kernel which i tried today with the thrills v2.2 for 20p it didnt work over 20c baseband till i tried lestats kernel option and i put the att stock kernel on and it work doesnt change baseband but makes 20p roms work on atleast 20c i know atleast that particular combination
My LG Thrill is unlocked and I am using it with Tmobile, and it is rooted using the latest CM7. I wanted to update my baseband to the newest V20 RIL but also keep root, probably running the stock rom that comes with the new baseband.
Will I have to unlock the phone again after updating baseband?
You will have to reroot but your phone will stay unlocked.

What phone do you have and what firmware you have installed on your phone? This is file to flash with ODIN not with SS and is for international S5 not At&t S5

You're trying to flash a .tar file not a ROM zip

You should look in development section for flashable zip of this rom : try here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794838

Not sure what you're trying to do here.
G900A device has locked bootloader are you trying to Odin a G900F Stock Rom to try and bypass locked bootloader? If thats your reasoning it won't do it.
Is your G900A rooted with Safestrap and if so just download a bone stock G900F Rom and flash in Safestrap.
Im no trying flash via odin because it is no possible...i have locked bootloader and i dont know how can i bypass it...i want flash via safestrap and i cant find flashable zip with g900f lolipop stock rom...

And is not possible to flash with safestrap do to missing bootloader. In order to have lolipop work on S5 you need to have correct bootloader. Since our bootloader is lock you can't do nothing now.
So, why i can flash other custom roms (for exmple "Omega" ) via safestrap and why i cant flash stock samsung lolipop rom?

You can flash G900A G 900T and G900F Roms if your G900A device is rooted with Safestrap installed. You will still have G900A stock kernel no matter what. Having a locked bootloader prevents you from flaahing custom kernels and that is the problem.
It is my understanding that to run the 5.0 Lollipop one must use a compatible custom kernel therefore you WON'T be able to yet since kernel is different.
When AT&T drops official 5.0 lollipop then you'll find developers will start building 5.0 Lollipop Roms.
But i have rooted device and i have installed safestrap...
Maybe, i dont understand but it is so strange for me...
So, maybe can i install stock rom with android 4.4.2 for g900f phones?

It's not about root or Safestrap its about the kernel. The official 5.0 for international G900F uses a different kernel than what is compatible with G900A and until AT&T drops official 5.0 lollipop you won't be able to flash official 5.0 Lollipop G900F Stock ROM.
Yes you can flash any TouchWiz G900F 4.4.2 with your rooted G900A with Safe strap.
Now i undestand thanks for your patience...
Where can i find stock flashable zip 4.4.2 from g900f?

In the Galaxy S5 thread
Okay so about 3 hours ago I got my galaxy s6 and no I wish to root it although I'm out of the loop on what's going can someone clarify for me?. I keep seeing that root isn't supported on 5.1.1 luckily for me I'm still on 5.0.2, I tried ping pong root but that didn't work so now I'm thinking of using cf autoroot. I keep seeing people saying that after root they can't hear when making a call or that data is not working I'm just wondering what's going on? I just want to get updated

The people having the issues with call volume and fingerprint scanner are using the eng sboot for 5.1.1
Cf-autoroot or pingpong for 5.0.2 will both give you root with no issues

It was a leaked engineering bootloader. Yeah, if you're gonna do a custom rom, I would flash something that matches your bootloader. (5.0.2 rom for a 5.0.2 bootloader, etc)

ROOT is supported on 5.1.1 when you flash the custom kernel called UniKernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...d-development/kernel-stockmod-kernel-t3100395 and TWRP is also available for people running 5.1.1 only version 2.8.7.1 though but still don't update because most ROMS are based on 5.1.1 and you cant flash a ROM that is based on 5.0.2 right now.

Hmm so I can't flash 5.0.2 roms right now? That's weird because last night I flashed twrp via Odin and then flashed the super su zip then flashed looper rom and that's 5.0.2 and it's been pretty great so far

Yes but do you have the 5.1.1 bootloader? If so you can only flash 5.1.1 ROMS.
Why doesn't it work on of6?
I've noticed when I don't have the latest it kills my battery anyone know where I can download latest and what latest is? Searching for 1 month now.

It's all in the Odin file. Just make sure you've used Odin to put the same version of stock as the ROM you want to flash.

Is your ROM the same version of Android as was on it before you flashed? I'm just saying you have to Odin the same Android version (say 5.0.2) as the ROM you want to use. Then after you Odin the base you re-root, Odin TWRP then flash your ROM.

What's "the base" in "Odin the base"?
I was on Android 5.1.1, and I just TWRPd LineageOS 14.1, which implies that my Android version also went up a couple of points. But now my SIM card isn't detected, and I guess it's due to the baseband firmware needing an update, no? So, should I have "Odined the base"? If so, which "base", and could I have TWRPd it instead? Thanks!
