socialife problem

Hi all I have the XZ .. not sure if already asked but if I open the socialife app on XZ it goes to playstore n then says not compaitble , any one know how to fix it ? I am on stock OS with locked BL ..

yeah i have this same problem...i'am from Poland and my operator is PLUS GSM maybe i need install stock ROM not branded from my operator?

I had the Social life problems too , it kept getting stuck in a loop when trying to log it. I wiped cache and app data , then power cycled , then tried the app. After 4 attempts it worked.

Did it not come with the phone ? I also connected the Sony account in my account settings first. Is it conflicting with another install ?

[Q]Unlocked bootloader, still getting PCC updates?

Hi I've got 2 questions.
1. I've for some time had an unlocked bootloader on my Z and I've installed another ROM, PAC man, but now when I plugged in my device to Sony PC Companion I get a message that I've got an new firmware available, shouldn't PCC recognized the phone as unrecognizable?
Sorry that it's in swedish but translated it stands: An update of the phone's/tablets firware is available

2. I was wondering if there are any problem to install/update to .253 using PCC when on unlocked bootloader and another ROM? If I ever want to restore, could I use this instead of my .ftf if I want to factory reset it too, as an alternative to Flashtool?

My experience is that PCC says there is an update for my device, which of course there is, but it wont update when I tried with unlocked bootloader .

Let me know when it does . No really you will be fine.

You will have a message:your phone has a modified software and the update will not carry on.
You can go back to stock by using emma,it's only for unlocked bootloader or of course with flashtool.
To use pcc or sus update's capabilities you will have to flash a stock rom and relock the bootloader with flashtool(no need for TA).

Yepp after downloading all files, then when I put the phone in flash mode it told me that the firmware were modified but I did at least get an ftf from it ( @DevShaft )

Was my Bootloader ever unlocked?

The question comes to my mind,because of the following reasons :
1) Bravia Engine not working (flashed xreality zip by @xperiaz2 but still no success)
2) Gracenote not working
But the catch is,that the "issues" I'm facing are in the replacement device(refurbished) that SONY gave me recently for the dead pixel issue :-/
I went in the service menu and it shows bootloader unlock allowed: yes
I even backed up TA partition of this device but it's of much lesser size than of my original device
The only thing that I could think of right now that I might have done wrong here is that, as I got my replacement, I restored the entire TWRP backup (system,data,,,) which I had taken in my original device,without noticing the BRAVIA ENGINE in album
So I wanted to know that whether my bootloader was ever unlocked by someone earlier, and that I've lost my drm keys??
Should I return this device to them?
Please guys,help me on this one!

You can check the status of your DRM keys in the service menu.
Enter *#*#7378423#*#* in the dialler then look in Service tests - Security. All the keys should say [Key OK][Active].

It could have been unlocked before and relocked and it would still say that though. That's why I posted the method to check whether the DRM keys are intact or not.

I don't know, possibly something to do with restoring a backup from another device. If DRM keys are intact, BE2 should work. Try flashing a stock rom with Flashtool and see if it works then.

Help with phone activation.

Hi.
I have big question. I have Xperia Z wirk Orange branded stock ROM and my friend work in Sony support. He use at home Sony flash tool EMMA and flash me Central Europe soft. Now after flash phone dont see any network, no network bar and phone need "Activation". That activation can be done using special USB Dongle and EMMA but he cant get that dongle from his work.
Is there any way to do activation in home?
I found in google only this picture of EMMA, my phone show "Activated: No"

If its a network locked phone you will have to put the original operator sim(the number that the phone is registered to) to activate the phone.

Phone come as "Swap", friend send broken Xperia T and get Xperia Z because they can't fix T.

He can't, I must do this official way, so I will send them back phone and tell there is no signal. He say they will flash ROM again and do activation. Maybe if I please, they give me Central Europe CE1 soft, not this crappy Orange.

[Q] Network Mode LTE option

So I took a screenshot of my Xperia Z(c6603) of the list of currently available radio bands. I've read somewhere that LTE_BC1 is 2100MHz frequency(which my phone has LTE_BC1,3,5,7 etc) and so by looking at the list my phone is missing that frequency radio band to have LTE enabled. How would I unlock the 2100 MHz radio band frequency so I can enable LTE on my Xperia Z?

edit: Okay, I got the network modes as I wished but I don't have the frequency(2100MHz) of my radio baseband, does anyone know how to acquire 2100 MHz for my c6603?

As mentioned earlier you are from Canada and this is the reason why you should buy c6606.
But c6603 and c6606 are the same spec so you can try this. I'm sure you looking for this solution.
