Will the Sense 6 update improve my battery life? My battery life was terrible on Sense 5.5 so will the update improve things?
It improved mine with bulletproof 14.2. Looks pretty sick too

Ok so I am compairing this to stock vs cyanogen 6 RC3. I have seen better battery life on stock then I am on cyanigen 6. I don't know what is eating away at my phones battery. I have a task killer but who knows if it is doing its job. Any tips or suggestions I'm all ears

I get better battery life with cm6 rc3. Make sure it's not some bad coded application that's eating away your battery.
My battery life sucks with CM6-RC3. Stock was much better. I'm trying to figure out what bad app I have installed that's eating away at my battery.

Why does that kernel have amazing battery life but is extremely slow? I could make my phone last 2 days but the messaging app is sooooo slow and buggy. I flashed a different one and now my battery sucks again but everything is alot smoother. I think the stock kernel needs optimizing and it could be perfect

I'm thinking of flashing a new ROM, and I'm trying to find one with:
- decent battery life, and
- speed
Those are my only two criteria.
What do you all think?
AW: [Q] Most efficient rom?
Evervolv absolutely! Battery life is decent on miui and most sense 3.6 Roms too.

Actually, I was thinking of trying that one. Evervolv is one of the ROMs I have yet to try.
So far, the 3 Muskateers Insanely Cool Sense 4 has been my favourite.

Ya i like that too but this call bug when you receive SMS or mail was too annoying for me

What are some tweaks and apps I can download on my rooted HTC One to improve performance and increase battery life?
Try the HTC power saver. But if you want something else I've had success with a non HTC One phone using Greenify.

[ARHD] battery life comparing Android Revolution HD 40.3 & Android Revolution HD 5.2
Hi All,
I realized that the battery life of Android Revolution HD 40.3 a lot better than Android Revolution HD 5.2 which means the sense rom is more power saving than GPE rom however I test several 3D games on both rom looks like GPE got better FPS, can some body confirm that ?
Thanks a lot,
Frank

Sense may have a better stand by time due to the options to turn pretty much all of the rom off, but under normal use, i'd imagine the two are similar. If you charge every night (like you should be doing with modern super phones) then i think the difference is moot.
I feel my phone has a good battery life.Guys any ideas in how to get better battery life?

use Greenify to hibernate unnecessary apps like Facebook games etc. but don't greenify(hibernate) messenger apps
Greenify requires root
