I did on my Nexus 5. I got the same error as you, but then went in and cleared data/cache on the Cameranext app and everything worked fine. Might try that.

No. Just moved it to /system/app, changed permissions to rw-r-r, and rebooted.

No Sir. Installed the zip, wiped dalivik and cache, then rebooted. I didn't see anyone say anything about permissions. I did search on installing the white keyboard and came up blank on my phone. I even tried restoring just the app. Thanks again.

Just completed the OTA to KK and the calculator app force closes whenever I try to open it. I'm stock rooted, S-ON, and unlocked. I've tried clearing data for the app as well as uninstalling/reinstalling it. Any ideas?

UPDATE: I have it fixed now. I just pulled the calculator.apk included with the update and re-installed it on my phone. It works without issue now.

I don't know if it is allowed to do that since it isn't my app. Anyone have thoughts?
I don't believe its a proprietary concern unless you are trying to sell it to him, or offering a free link to a paid app. You could also just lay out the steps you took and have him figure it out on his own if you are that concerned. My penny and a half....
I'd like a link to the apk as well if you don't mind.
Here is the apk. If a moderator has a problem with this, please let me know. Just download it to your phone and click on the file.

any solutions? i searched google but no luck...
Since it is built in. You may just have to move it and reboot. Option 2 would be install system apps installer from the market and try it. Option 3, flash a ota or whatnot lol.

As long as the app doesn't need to be installed then yeah that should work. Is your write protection disabled or unlocked bootloader?

i have a developer edition... so its unlocked bootloader... took me some time to figure out how to root it... first is to flash philz touch recovery from fastboot then boot into recovery and go to Philz Settings inside recovery and click Re-root system (SuperSU) then reboot system and install SuperSU app from playstore and You got a rooted phone

i need package installer.apk for my new aokp rom for android 4.4.4 please guys help me
I've just rooted my device using geohot's towelroot.apk and now I can't use my ISIS wallet app for my free Jamba Juice smoothies. I'm searching around and I can't find a method to unroot.
Kies3 isn't working either as it says "firmware initialisation is not supported by this model"
PLEASE HELP!
Edit: I've also tried to use SuperSU to unroot, but it won't let me update the binaries and just force closes
Edit 2:

I found out that you cannot use the SuperSU downloaded from the play store as it will just force close. Download the apk from this link: http://download.chainfire.eu/447/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r4.zip
SuperSU should be able to update itself successfully after you open the application. Afterwards, you can use the permanent unroot option from the settings and that's it! I'm going to go get my free smoothie now.
I AM HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUES AND NEED TO UNROOT ALSO.

You should be able to download xposed, then rootcloak, and hide root from ISIS. Works on my M8.

Yes, I already found this out with my wife's AT&T Note 3. Xposed plus Rootcloak is the answer to Isis not working with root.

Yes. You will install the superuser apk that is floating around if you haven't already and then update the binaries after you open the app.
Then go to settings in the superuser app and do the permanent unroot. I also uninstalled the towel root app too just in case. Then reboot and you should be unrooted.
