[Q] Bricked Verizon G2 - Verizon LG G2

Hello all,
I just rooted my phone and installed TWRP via Autorec. I rebooted and am stuck in bootloop. The device just starts up and hangs on LG logo. I can get back into TWRP and download mode, but there is no back up or rom available to install. Any ideas...
BTW my cpu runs windows 8...
Ive been trying to reflash via lg tool, however the program does not see my phone. Actually it see it in device manager, but the drivers will not work for it.
Thanks

update
o I was finally able to get the R and D tool to see my phone. However it now hangs as it is trying to install the software. Any ideas?

Are you trying to flash the stock firmware? TOT method?

Thanks for responding! I am using the KDZ method, stock kit kat. In order to get the tool to see the computer, I had to download the VZW G2 drivers, the koush drivers and the drivers from the original thread. I have been able to get it to 49% when transferring and it continually hangs there. I have made sure to use the usb 2.0 port on computer.
I appreciate your response!

Solved
Fixed my phone. After everything was said and done, I just needed to wipe everything to get the update to take hold and get past the 49% issue.

[Q] [Help] My revo is screwed

I can't get into clockworkmod anymore, the custom recovery is back. And on top of that I can't get any computer or cord to access my phone.
I had BO 2.0.1 for a while and at some point during this it stopped being able to connect USB to a computer. I tried uninstalling drivers, reinstalling, different cords, different computers, etc. Phone never recognized computer. This didnt matter much as my phone sucks and 4G works so I can get files and back up files that way. I flashed back to stock using my original recovery and made a few tweaks. This worked for a while but phone OTA updated (forgot to freeze that part). Now clockworkmod seems to be gone and I have problems, want to fix crap because OTA mostly failed but messed some stuff up and I cant get into clockworkmod or try to use AIO to reinstall it because USB charges but doesn't sync with a computer. I still have root access though.
Any suggestions? ... (cursing revo, can't wait till upgrade, have regretted this phone since day 2).

You can just put the SD card in a computer and download a ROM and flash it in stock recovery.
EDIT: how do you know you still have root access if you cant access your phone via USB or CWM
If you cant use stock recovery then your just screwed.

Not sure I understand. I have plenty of ROM's on my SD card. Either I don't know what I'm doing (which I don't) or the stock recovery for LG Revo does not allow flashing anything to my knowledge. It only wipes and factory restores.

Ok so if you cant get new ROM via stock recovery and cant get it recognised via USB then you should get a new device.

Yeah, definitely the plan. Just trying to buy some time until then. So is there any way to install CWM to my phone without using a computer? Can I just replace the system recovery files with CWM files?
Try this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29636513&postcount=332
You can manually install clockwork this way.

I can't find a link for the file, just AIO when I search. Do you have a file link for CWM?
***Edit: wait, I found the original post finally. I just needed to hang in a bit longer. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1121952
hopefully this works, thx famous
If you download Rom manager from the play store you can install cwm with it. Should be the easiest way. Just make sure to select the revo. I wouldn't suggest cwm touch either.
Sent from my VS910 4G using xda app-developers app
and bricked! even better than before. Any suggestions?
When phone boots LG logo then it reads:
[407] Fsatboot mode started
[520] USB init ept @ 0x3e000
[620] smem_read_alloc_entry Type : 402
[670] smem_read_alloc_entry Size Read 1816
[720] smem_read_alloc_entry Size Passed 1816
[780] smem ram ptable found: ver: 0 lens: 6
[830] fastboot_init()
[890] Fastboot maximum download size : 450 MBytes
[960] udc_start()
I have tried holding power and down volume, selecting wipe data, returns to text seen above.
**** Edit: found solution to fastboot IF my phone could recognize PC.

Had the same problem
So I had the same problem, I may be a little late but I found a way to fix it
I had the same problem when the OTA came out, I was rooted with CWM but when the OTA tried to update I lost CWM but remained rooted and for the better part of a month could not get my computer to do anything but charge the phone when plugged in via USB. heres what I did and it worked for me
1. removed battery and sd card overnight (I think the device had to be void of any electricity to fully clear the ram)
2. plugged the phone in and rebooted (computer recognized it)
3. used LGNPST to install ZV9
4. it still kept root (which I thought was weird)
5. did a factory reset
6. lost root and went to stock zv9
7. did the OTA update to zv10
8. used the AIO to reroot and reinstall cwm
9. reinstalled BO
10. watched magic happen
hope it helps, I am by no means an expert just thought i'd share
my revo says:
fastboot mode started
udc.start()
-- suspend --
-- reset --
-- portchange --
-- reset --
-- portchange --
but when i try to follow instructions from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088046
i ran fastboot erase recovery and cmd just says "waiting on device"
i think i need the fastboot drivers but I cannot find them anywhere. any help??

BRICKED, I have stock recovery, download mode not working, no OS

Ive been trying the TOT and KDZ methods without any success. When I only had fastboot I flashed xdabebbs laf.img and I had download mode back, however when im in download mode, my device manager does not recognize the phone. (Does not say "ANDROIDNET COM41" etc) its just blank. Am i just suppose to install the verizon-specific drivers? I have a feeling that is why the LGFlashtool is not working on my phone.
When i turn on my phone it just stays on the LG logo, but when its on the LG logo the phone shows up in device manager under ports.
im so confused and frustrated now! Can anyone help me out please!

Their are VZW specific drivers for the VS980, I think there is a link to them in the ioroot25 thread, otherwise google should turn them up.
i followed this Guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448960) numerous times but it seems like im missing something.
am i suppose to download the LG universal drivers also? and the verizon LG drivers?

Regardless if you have USB debugging on or off if you plug up to your PC in download mode you can use the LG PC SUITE software that comes on your phone, or download it from lg, to revive your phone.
You'll need your PC connected to the internet for this
Just put in download mode
Plug into PC
Open pc suite
At the top click mobile devices tab
In drop down click "restore upgrade error"
If it doesn't recognize your phone you will need your serial number and your device model number I.e D959, D950, D955, D958, etc.
Sit back and relax this takes about 10 mins
This is the only method I use now to restore my device. Works like a charm for me.
when the phone is softbricked and usb debugging is off you cant install all drivers my friend.and phone no connected with anything.thanks for your intresting

KDZ is over 1.5GB. How it takes 10 minutes?
Sent from my LG G Flex F340K on LTE network, Stock KitKat 4.4.2 Rooted
using XDA mobile app
Once it downloads the kdz it only takes 10 mins.

Yes. There is a folder on your c:\program data\lg ....something or other folder. go into it and into mobile phone folder I think its called. I'm not in front of my PC right now. But you'll find the folder you need in there. Just put the stock .kdz file in there. It must be the same version or newer than you're on. Or was on when it bricked.
I've even actually pulled the .kdz files from there after I used PC suite the first couple of times. Used them in the lg flash tool.

I've noticed, by accident, when I did the factory reset method \ steps to get into twrp, but for some reason twrp wasn't installed and it actually reset my phone.... And caused it to boot loop due to what ever i did to FUBAR it. Factory reset defaults USB debugging back to off but when in download mode it didn't stop PC suite from "restoring upgrade errors" and flashing my flex back to stock. I've used it so much I now make sure my PC at work has it and the .kdz on it. My laptop has it and I have a flash drive in my truck with PC suite & .kdz on it. Lmao. Yeah I get a little ballsy sometimes and try just about anything. OK a lot but I always have a way back now.
my friend try this with pc suite and it stop in 0%.not run.and my interner connection is very good.why?
I have no clue. Try different usb cable if you don't have the one the one that came with it. I've noticed my flex and nexus 7 don't like some cheaper no name brand cables when transferring files or using adb. They seem to be fine with just charging. I use mostly my usb cable that came with my moto razr hd maxx. Only cuz it stays connected in the micro end better. And I have no clue what happened to the original.
Also make sure you have the latest LG drivers installed.
Sometimes to get the old "offline method" to work I would have to make sure no Samsung drivers were installed or Motorola drivers, Kies, or moto device manager. If any were I would have to uninstall them and the LG drivers. Restart Windows. And re install the latest LG drivers.
So not sure what exactly did the trick but I did all of it just to make sure and something helped. Try that. Don't plug in your flex till after LG drivers are installed and you have restarted Windows. I don't know but seems like what ever sequence or install or uninstall of drivers I've done now works all the time. Before we got bump I would go from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 a couple times a week just to fool around a few days till something I modified or themed would bootloop me and I would get passed and go back to 4.2.2 and swear I'm not leaving JB till we have a custom recovery on KK. But my A.D.D. would get the better of me and I ,..... oh yeah I gotta run get some,.... oh never mind I'll .... huh oh yeah my A.D.D. it causing crack flashing syndrome. Lmao
I am on F340K Rooted Stock recovery Kitkat 4.4.2 V20D.
after changing my build.prop I forgot to set permissions.
Now I am unable to fix permissions through adb... although I succesfully Pushed the Original backup file from my PC..
I have two backups of Build.prop in my phone also.. One in system directory with the name of Build.prop.bak and 2nd is external sd card.
please advise me what to do?. I can access phone though Volume+Power = LG service Manaual (which is shown in ADB as Recovery device)
whereas Original Stock recovery Volume down+Power have an Android Logo with Red Triangle...
Is there a way I can install/ Push Some custome recovery Like Freedom Flex Bumped cwm or twrp to my phone? Fixing permissions through ADB Operation not Permitted or Permission denied error

[Q] I can't restore back to stock please help!

So to clear things out my phone is not bricked it is currently rooted and has twrp recovery installed. I've been trying to restore it back to stock but the lg recovery tool will load my kdz file everything goes good then it tells me it can't detect my phone. I already installed and the usb drivers and still nothing I even tried enabling usb debugging mode and it still don't work. I also tried flashing in offline mode and it does the same thing it just wont detect my lg g2 can someone please help me out i want to send it in for warranty purposes but i need un-root it before i send it in thanks.

LG G4 Brick help

Hello,
I have a Tmobile LG G4 version that I dumbly bricked. I was on a custom rom and wanted to go back to stock and erased everything on the SD card including the OS. I have tried the LG Flash Tool 2014 method to restore via KDZ in download mode. It begins doing its thing but my phone makes no progress and eventually the program times out. Fastboot mode is not working as I can't access it via Android SDK. Can anyone help or am I screwed? I have tried both KDZ available for this phone. I also wanted to try to TOT method; however, I could not locate a TOT or the appropriate .DLL file for my phone. Any help would be highly appreciated. Additionally, when I go into device manager I see my
my phone under port 41 as LGE Androidnet USB serial port. I went in there to change that to port 41 myself while trying to use the TOT method only to be unable to locate the needed files.
Thanks
Edit: I was able to manually get back into TWRP and adb pushing the rom back onto the system!
You shuld know that if you are on a MM based ROM, you cant go back to LP. Its safe to go back to V10N. However, it sounds theres a soluciĆ³n for you if you can get the phone into download mode, try on another PC. Get latests drivers from LG, Adb stuff and LGUP, then gran you correct KDZ and give it a shot. Theres an autoprime's post, that helped me unbrick my device.
