i am using sprint htc one in india on reliance cdma network.
suddenly last week the phone stopped reciving sms .
phone is ota updated to latest software (after ota sms was working)
outgoing sms ,data,phone all working.
reliance is facing this problem with their officially launched htc one dual sim hand set .
they have launched ota a fix for it 4.22.720.7 (77.04mb) .
does any one has a fix for sprint hand set .

My wife has a Sensation XL (branded with Vodafone AU). The phone refuses to send or receive MMS messages and always gives a "Generic Network Failure" message when trying to send or receive. I have used her SIM in my phone (HTC Incredible S) and then messages come through no problem so I know her SIM and settings are OK. When I put my SIM (Virgin AU) in her phone it still refuses to send and receive MMS so we have been able to rule out network issues as both SIMs work fine in my phone.
The Sensation XL is unrooted and running stock ICS. Google has not given us any clues and Vodafone say they can't(won't) help as the SIM is known to work.
Does anybody have any ideas of things I could try that may get MMS working - preferably without having to root and re-image the phone?
I brought new unlock GSM lumia 822 with clean ESN from Ebay.
I am in India, I found that my phone had continues freezing & rebooting.
In spite of knowing that after portico update my
Outgoing SMS would be barred.I updated and my freezing & rebooting problem was solved, but my GPRS on 2g networked is also locked
Anyone has any solution.
can we port lumia 820 rom on lumia 822?

Me too have this unit and currently using here in Philippines, I also update the phone to its latest software but downgrade it after a day since I need the SMS outgoing function, but I have the 3G/Data works on well my phone.
To date, there's no existing fix on SMS outgoing bug on the latest update i believe, been searching on the net for a day.
I hope too, that someone or if there's a possibility on 820 port.

by brother got HTC One Dual Sim 802W in china but he can't active whatsapp
at the step he receive the sms verification message he got this error :
" Sorry , whatsapp was unable send an sms verification message because your phone is disabled and radio is off.
please try again when you re-enabled your phone . "
anyone knows how to solve this issue ?

Sim card in slot one or two? No Sim in slot one caused this on mine.

I tested this problem on my HTC ONE Dual Sim. WhatsApp not show any errors. All the established standard.
At the time of installation I was active only SIM1 and WiFi connection.
bought from ebay.india ago 3 months htc velcoity 4g as 189$
phone have motherboard printed as X710a and sofware phone identity shows it is velocity 4g X710s
2 months it is good running now it not able to send sms but recive sms after restarted all pending sms send
i m used factory reset via volume keys it is not solve problems i don,t want to run any custom rom can any one give me original rom to flash this phone and problem and solving the phone

i've htc one m8 sprint ,got it GSM unlocked,,i
it sends calls but when some try to call me it doesn't show any sign of a call
no vibration
no ring
no nothing at all
any ideas !!!
