Phone Bricked, solutions? suggests?

well, i just bricked my gt540 when decided to downgrade from 2.3 to 2.1...the process with the kdz flasher stops in the middle and now the phone is dead, totally! dont boot at all so.. in internet there is no info about how to fix this, so for people like me, that have no warranty or place to send the device maybe somebody with knowledge can help us with the jtag digram maybe? or another solution...well that is all. thanks in advance
flash 2.1 fastboot rom with kdz updater again, then go into fastboot and flash clockworkmod recovery/ or flash 2.2/2.3 with android sdk
Hello i has been in your place, only put your phone in download mode (volume - + button on/off) connect your phone again and install the rom with KDZ

Do that, flash 2.1 fastboot and clockwork kdz over KDZ UPDATER, then it needs to work

Please actually read, his phone cannot boot into download or emergency mode.so he cant flash any ROMs. This happened to me, My power went out while flashing a KDZ. Try taking your phone back to the store and see what they say (don't tell them you flashed!), they fixed mine (considering I voided the warranty) or if they won't fix, there is a place online somewhere who when you send them your phone, they jtag it and fix it for you. I'll have a look for the link again.
Hope it helps,
Jack
Sounds like you screwed the startup part of the kernel like I did ages ago, I just took it bk to shop and said it wouldn't turn on

Take it to your local retailer lg ofcourse and him to it for you.....he'll take some charges!

My friend. Instead of doing the JTAG yourself (which is really not easy because you will have to soldier things on the board itslef because it is not prepared for this) I suggest you use this service:
http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/cable_..._Repair_Service_(mail_in_repair_service).html
Not expensive, and it shoud do the needed.
Hope this helps.
I would really like apreciate some JTAG schematics...there are several sites on internet that offer this service hopefully somebody will tell us how to do it...

You need a device called a "RIFF Box" which go from around £110 to £150. So using the above purchase would be a better option

I think your phone is not bricked.
My friend have a GT540 and nothing shows in the screen until the phones finishes booting.
What I did to flash SwiftDroid? I ran the commands to flash it via fastboot and the terminal said "waiting for device". I turned the phone off, turned it on in fastboot mode. Nothing showed on the screen, but my terminal managed to flash the ROM.
Have you already tried that?
Good luck

Face palm man. You need an unlocked bootloader for that rom says so in the info so you clearly didn't follow directions like you said to such as using cwm not safestrap. This is why we must read before acting hastily. You may be able to use rsd to flash stock but don't count on it.

Yeah i unlocked the bootloader before. so it seems like useless for my case. Plus i cant even boot into fastboot mode, how am i gonna install it lol
And as I said before; the problem is i cant get in to any bootloader or fastboot or anything. I can only tell the phone is on when i plug to computer and rsdlite sees the device, but fails to flash anything because it is not in the fastboot mode.
I tried both methods but they both fail where the phone need to be in fastboot mode, which is apparently not happening...

Damn, seems like those are the only two methods that could work.
The good thing is that you can't re-lock the bootloader.
You might want to send a PM to skeevy to see if he can help.
Is there any warranty left on your phone? I've seen posts where people were able to go back to AT&T to exchange the phone or send it in for repair.

When you plug in the phone to charge do you see at least the boot logo?
may need to connect pins 1 & 4 together in micro usb charger port to phone within the plug itself and it will charge.

I feel like it's causing more problems than it's solving with new people that try to flash their phones, they see light at the end of the tunnel and assume it's the exit, when in fact it's a dadgum train.

I research on that i guess fasboot cable is connecting the pins 1 & 4 together in micro usb cable. I tried that too, however result is the same.
doesnt work.
That was my last hope (fastboot cable), so i even try other combinations connecting different pins together, but it didnt work too )))
I have a beautiful brick as you guys can understand.
I am thinking to order a broken lcd atrix hd online and replace the boards right now. Do you guys think it is logical?
or like replacing the storage with a used one.
I dont know what else to do, out of ideas
I am aware I haven't replied in a while, my atrix had a hardware issue, but I got a nexus 10!! Anyways, when plugging the phone in does the LED light up green?

When you format them, format them to FAT32 because if you use NTFS it wont show. but you will need to unlock your bootloader check out Hansoon's AIO for the Vivid it's in the Development Thread. use that it will walk you through step-by-step then you need to chose a ROM you want and if your S-ON get the boot.img and via fastboot in cmd type fastboot flash boot boot.img whereever you have it placed at and then flash the ROM if your S-OFF then just flash the ROM in recovery if you dont know what S-OFF/ON is just flash the boot.img

What command did you use? Did you flash it to the kernel partition or the fotakernel partition? Either way, your flashmode and fastboot should still work; unless you accidentally flashed over the TA partition, I don't see how any of what you did would hard brick the device.

Dude... mmcblk0p6 shows up on my device as the aboot partition on my device. Aboot as in "Android Bootloader", the thing that (IIRC) loads the download mode in Samsung devices, and I think the flash mode in others. No wonder you couldn't use flashmode. Who told you to flash it there?
In any case, this could indeed cause a hard brick. If you're lucky, fastboot might still work; if it does, you could ask someone for an aboot image (don't know if an FTF might contain it) and flash it that way. If not... Sorry bro, only thing you can try is the service center, if you're lucky they might be able to help you out.
Good luck. ?

can you please ellaborate the procedure i am unable to find a guide.. just tell me what to do
and how to flash through fastboot
I'm sorry, I don't know where you could get one online; I don't really have time to try and make an image of the partition and send it to you. Hell, I don't even know how you'd flash it if you got it (I'm not that experienced with fastboot). What I suggest is making a new thread requesting an image of the partition, and help with flashing it. Hopefully I'll have some free time in a few days (or a week), and if you're still stuck by that point, I'll do my best to find a way.
