[Sony XV][LT25i] Firmware 9.1.A.1.140 Update

Hi,
Updated my Sony XV [LT25i] to 9.1.A.1.140 Firmware.:angel:
Root, works like a charm.. but won't boot in cwm recovery.. hope developers come up with a quick solution..:fingers-crossed:

Now a Million Dollar Question : What changes does this new built brings? [As change log not available, even our friend Google is not helping LoL] :laugh:

Have you installed cmw since you updated?
Also, Sony do not provide detailed changelogs.

Yup tried to install CWM, no luck .. Halts at Sony Boot Logo..

But you have an unlocked bootloader, so just flash a custom kernel with cmw incorporated in it

Download this file Click here to Download
Unzip and run the bat file with USB debugging enabled on ur phone..
On reboot check for superuser .. if installed u hv root access..

i solved it myself i didnt think over it before posting. i simply took the widget out of a stock rom

Put it in system/app and install it. I use fuklag rom and there is this widget removed.

When I try to move it to system/app I get a could not write error?
Using Astro on CM10.1.
Do I have to do it in a special way or something?

One last question. When I try to install it I just get 'App not installed'.
I haven't done this before

It works only with roms based on sonys stockrom like fuklag, xperia z revolution or romaur.

have u used Bin4ry method? v30?
if yes, then it should work well, no problem at all, if there is still a problem with nfc, tell me which root method did you used?
I'm using TX JB (both .411 & .67) rooted with working NFC

data> find folder name "usf"
delete "usf" folder
reboot, enjoy
Using latest Binary root method solve this issue too

so, it works now, no need to think about anything else
the easiest way, anyway, is to delete that folder in /Data , that solves the problem
but that's weird, because bin4ry method automatically repairs NFC issue...

i had rooted it with v26 and since then it stopped working!
Now i updated to build 9.1.B.1.67 and lost root but nfc still not working!
If i flash 9.1.B.0.411 and root via binarys method will it work?

Reflash the new ROM, sometimes it is needed for NFC to have the ROM flashed twice
.67 is not rootable at the moment, but if you have unlocked bootloader, you can root it using DoomLord's kernel
and, the last thing, if you still have the issue with NFC, even if you reflash the firmware, then go to this directory and delete the folder named "USF"
go here: /Data and then delete that folder i mentioned

hi
i know that info eye features are available in some region
but info-eye un-installed automatically from my device!
force stop error then i cannot find it anymore in camera setting and apps > All
(even not at bottom of list)
it means info-eye disappeared completely from my device!
and i cannot install it manually
no root and etc yet.

*i just repair phone by PCC*
(however i reset my phone once and then i could use info eye for while but disappeared! but after repairing it s still here after 3-4days.)

I honestly have no idea, you could try using SEUS to repair your software.

I'm sorry. you can't update from Jellybean. Your phone must be on Kitkat or previous Lollipop. It's the requirement.

Yeah that's right. You can install my Full.zip on your previous lollipop, but I recommend wiping cache and dalvik cache.

loader.sin error
when I want to flash flashtools gave me an error in the light ftf inside the loader.sin i install the ftf super light did ypu know if i change the loader.sin file from the super light to the light gave me some error???

Hi @andresdr2005! There is no single problem with loader.sin in my FTF. This issue happens when you're using Flashtool without closing others programs like Sony PCC, BlueStacks, Youwave, Virtual Box, Rooting Tools or other ADB based programs. So make sure that you close all those programs before flashing with Flashtool.
Edit: I forgot to mention... Make sure that all drivers are correctly installed.

Yep I close everything just the light gave me that problem the super light no and just the .Sin file can I put the .sin file from the super light into the light ftf???

Yes it's the same. I also used Light for my Z1. There was no problem at all..

For method 1, the Zip and the FTF complete each other, so If you choose method 1, please follow all the 5 steps.

and what is the difference between C6902_Flashable_14.5.A.0.270_SG_XZR2815.zip and Full_C6902_Flashable_14.5.A.0.270_SG_XZR2815.zip
and between C6902_14.5.A.0.270_Customized_SG_Super_Light.ftf & C6902_14.5.A.0.270_Customized_SG_Light.ftf
