My watch strap has just broken off
Is there any way of un-rooting/un-boot loading the watch so I can send it off the the lovely Samsung people?
Any help is appreciated
Regards
GiGo
Just use Odin to flash a stock firmware. They are available on sammobile.com or in the general section.
I have replaced my watch 3 times for various reasons. .. all with a custom recovery

Okay, first I tried to root my galaxy s but fun know what I do, broke my motherboard, luckily it was still under warranty and got it fixed for $50, but I still want to root my SGS but afraid that if I root again, my motherboard would break again.
Samsung galaxy s
Firmware DXJV9
Gingerbread
If there is way to root my SGS with a 100% chance of working please post below.

First of all I'd come off that firmware version as that's your network providers version....flash JVK, JVQ, JVP, JVH any of them...then rooting will be easier....you need Odin, and your chosen kernel. First flash one of the firmwares above using Odin (theirs loads of tutorials on YouTube) then once done boot into download mode vol down + home + power, connect to computer, open Odin, their should be a yellow box to let you know your phone has been recognised, then in the PDA box, put your chosen kernel in and click start....done, make sure its a kernel for gingerbread and not CM7, froyo or something ok??

Yeah. That's exactly what caused my motherboard to break

Why don't you just read the sticky on rooting and flashing in the development section - then you won't need to post here.
S.U.R.F.A.C.E 2.something

I'm selling my Note today, which ROM does everyone recommended to flash before I sell it? It needs to be a full ROM so the guy can update. Thanks.

A Stock rom from this section:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
the latest stock rom
1.Keep as it is (why to take chance to brick)
2.As per choice of buyer
3.Flash with wipe a older ROM, so buyer get choice to update/Root it easily.
Yeah I think I'll just flash a stock ROM with root and call it a day. Thanks a ton guys, you Note guys are a friendly bunch.

Why are you selling? You won't find a better phone anyway!

I bought the Nexus. I prefer stock and an easier to handle size. Also the Rogers Note is coming out soon and my contract is almost up My girlfriend is gonna be a happy iPhone 4s user on valentines day though. I couldn't convert her so I had to trade it.

If she didnt convert then shes not a keeper bro... just sayin..

I knew there would be a reference to an Iphone in here somewhere...lol.
Note to a Nexus... I hope you get on with it. As for which rom - flash an early Samsung rom is your best bet, from the region you got it from.
Feel free to check out "our" forum as often as you want - you'll be most welcome. We're a friendly bunch as we have been around the block so many times, in search of the best phone available
What to do if I want to unroot and flash rom?
In dr.ketan's stock ROM post, he wrote...
"If you are not rooted n dont want Root
just flash with PC odin, (same as Older ROM Installation shown above)"
What if I am rooted, but don't want root anymore?
Can I still just flash with PC odin? Would it mess up because the Note was rooted?

yes you can flash stock rom with Odin on rooted note, without issue. It will make your next rom unrooted too.

Hi!
I`m new to samsung devices. On my old HTC the things were so simply about flashing and customizing. There i don`t know how to do nothing.
Please tell me some advices about this device. I`m completly confused about that. This phone is unlocked bootloader ? how can i acces it ? how to use Odin ? I have so much questions.
You'll be surprised to know that Samsung phone is more easy to use and flash and stuff. There's no need to unlock bootloader or something, just download whatever rom you like to flash, start odin and flash. Check the development section and use some of faria's roms.

Yeah wait for faria V3 ROM, he's uploading it now. You can flash that in ODIN then if you want.

I came from HTC devices myself and found Odin to be easier than unlocking the SPL.

Is there a list with stock roms for download?
Look on here: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I8190

Hi all, I upgraded to the official JellyBean on my German Note n7000. Didn't like it particularly the battery drain. Wanted to go back to ICS 4.0.4. Downloaded XXLRK 4.0.4 and flashed via Odin. No issues. However it will not go past the Samsung logo with the blue universe swirl. Not the N7000 white text screen the one with the flashing Samsung letters....
Any help will be appreciated. My beloved Note is hanging in the wind...
Full wipe before back to ICS...mak3 sure you know how to do that first...

now 24.
I guess members get tired of the always identical requests from members like you (and now already whining when not getting the demands fullfilled).
Open your eyes, search and start reading the very good tutorials here.

Where r tutorials
In ques/ans or development thread? ?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
The tutorials and guides are available in the Android Development and the Original Android Development forum in the stickies i.e. the initial pinned threads. Go thru them and to flash custom kernels just check the compatibility to the ROM and then flash the .zip file via recovery or .tar file via ODIN. And if you want to go back to the stock ROM, you can download the stock ROM for your region on sammobile.com and flash it via PC ODIN.
