Hello,
I don't have an account on play google and so I can't publish my game in it.
Could someone publish it for me the time that It makes enough revenue so I can put it myself ?
Thanks.

Has anyone volunteered to help? Why don't you create your own Google Play account? It's better to have your own account than ask someone to publish it for you.

help setting up google voice

Ok downloaded the Google voice app at market place than it asks me to set up by going to Google.com/voice. I sign in with my account than it says I need invite to get started...? Invite from where or who? Noob...
Tanx in advance
Anyone can use the app, but to use the service itself (the back-end to the app, if you will), you need a Google Voice account.
So its not free?

I would be most greatful to anyone that could supply me with an invitation to spotify.
Feel free to make this a thread to share playlists, discuss spotify and new bands etc
I guess i'm giving you an invitation to "spotify". Whatever that is....
spotify is a downloadable program that let's you access thousands of free songs.only problem is you need an invitation code from a current member.members regularly receive free invitations to give out.

Dropbox Suspicions? Anyone?

So, anyone afraid of dropbox now, lol.
http://jdsawyer.net/2011/07/02/put-it-in-the-cloud-are-you-nuts/
For the average user they can't cause any harm for storing music files or videos to have access to them elsewhere. So no reason for me to stop using it.
I sense lawsuits from somebody.
To add some facts to that: Dropbox already modified these changes, clearifying that those are legal terms they need to technically operate their service.
Read the lower part of this post: thinq.co.uk/2011/7/3/dropbox-terms-service-target-your-stuff/
A Dropbox spokesman:
Some of you have written us with very understandable concerns about the legal-sounding parts. In particular, our new TOS talks about the licenses we need to run Dropbox. We want to be 100% clear that you own what you put in your Dropbox. We don’t own your stuff. And the license you give us is really limited. It only allows us to provide the service to you. Nothing else

However, users should be alarmed.
Yeah, came across this at bleeding cool. Com, from a Greg Rucka twitter (comic book writer), thought there would be some interest here. The main point someone was putting forth is that we are not the customers with dropbox/Facebook etc, we are the Product/Merchandise ...

Shady! I haven't trusted (or used) Facebook for many months now. If you investigate their history it's more than a little sketchy. They don't want your information ... 'just because'.
It's really not that shady; it's just a bunch of legal jargon stemming from outdated laws they have to put into the agreement to protect themselves when storing millions of people's personal file's. Nothing will come of this, because there's no way a lawsuit will be able to get anything out of them
MySpace is the site with all the "weirdo's"..I haven't been there since college..2004 lol

I know its kinda backward, but depending on the size of stuff just email it to yourself. With the size of hotmail and gmail these days a few gigs worth of attachments might just be ok. And if there 'stories', ie your a writer IIRC you've just copyrighted your work by mailing it to yourself (someone might want to clairify or correct that statement, just a thought bouncing around in my poor brain, lol).

[Q] in-app coupons illegal?

Hey guys,
Sry for the question, i just don't know where to put this :/
Got a small legal question.
I am currently raising money for a game which is being developed at the moment.
As a reward for every 3€ donation i would like to offer a coupon which deactivates the ads in the app.
As google recently updated their policy i thought there might be a legal problem with that coupons.
Thank you guys
Julian
Now that's a legal matter. Shouldn't you ask Google about it to avoid issues later on? Are you creating a web-browser game?
Yes we are creating a web browser game.
I tried to contact google, not sure if i will ever geht an answer

Are you trying to remove the Google Adsense with the help of in-app coupons? This may not be of help but please try to read the Ad serving guidelines here at Google Support: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1706015?hl=en

To get it I have to show my face to Google or even worse, show my passport
That is, it is not a problem of the community, but accession to google payments. It is normal to verify the user.
