After i installed Gapps from NovaFusion, these Unfortunately ... has stopped working, filled my screen. i cant even press the home button... Please help me, i have installed cyanogen mod. Eg, unfortunately google play store has stopped working, unfortunately setup wizard has stopped....

First of all, please post your questions on Q&A section, not here. Read my FAQ (on my sig) for more doubts & do a clean install.
P.S. Use the XDA search button before ask something, probably your question is already answered

Hi all, I flashed a stock rom, namely Flix123's V1.1 of V20S Gingerbread Update. However, the despite following the instructions in the thread, and looking through the posts, I could not find an answer to my problem.
The problem I encountered was:
1. Home button not functioning
2. No lockscreen
I've looked through other threads pertaining to this problem, but none of their solutions worked. Although I can just use another stock rom, I'd like to know the cause of the problem.
Please do advise or redirect me if there is a problem with this thread (I originally wanted to post a reply in his thread but I do not have permissions to do so at the moment).
You need to complete the configuration wizard that shows up at the first boot, don't press "exit".

EDIT: Turns out that play button does not open a video...I must have mixed that up with another phone. Thanks for your advice, TrymHansen!
hi im new here, so if i posted in the wrong section of the forum , please pardon me ..
anyways, i need help with my tablet, is made by huawei , not really sure what model this is but its just a low end device but still somewhat important to me since it was a gift. going back, i have rooted way back , and earlier today i installed an app called app root delete, it basically uninstalls app etc., now it has two options one is the safe mode and the other i forgot, in safe mode the app basically only disables/hides the app and you can later enable it again , and the other (the one i forget) totally uninstalls the app ,now for my problem , i was playing with using the SAFE MODE option, i was scrolling down and up since i was surprise there were alot of "apps" which i dont even remember installing , and while i was scrolling back and fort my tablet suddenly freezes and i accidentally "uninstalled/disabled" an app which im not suppose to, then i suddenly got an error message which i cant really remember but it said something like "androind.something suddenly stopped working" and it gave me an option to force close it , i kept clicking on the force close button but im still having the error message and thats when i decided to turn it off using the power key , and now when i power it on again , its always stuck on the welcome screen , i've tried powering it off and on several times, but still its stuck in the welcome screen , i hope you guys can help me. thanks in advance
Several issues with your thread.
1) Without knowing the exact model tablet you have, nobody can help you. You need to find this first.
2) Once you find out which model you have, search for its corresponding forum, and search there for information to help you. If need be, make a thread in its [email protected] forum
For what it's worth, it sounds like you are to have to delete all your data, and flash a stock ROM. Follow steps one and two, and you should be good.

and right now the only way i can think of , is to hard reset it , problem though is that , pressing volume up and power button , and pressing volume down and power gives me a message
enter into fastboot mode
you can press HOME + BACK to reboot device

I flashed my s6500d using your rom, cm-10.1-20130920-UNOFFICIAL-jenad.zip. everything works fine except my home button only works on homescreen. when i open an app (facebook for example), and press home button, the home button doesnt work so I must press back multiple times to get back to homescreen.
Please help me.. I can't provide logs for now, but after little research I heard this problem has something to do with hw_config.sh.

This is unique case That's hard to advise the distance ... without logs...
Maybe you have freezed some system app like me. Unfortunately I cannot find which. Just unfreeze them all.
If you also press power menu, and find only power off option, you deleted setup wizard app from system or gapps.zip
This apk is important to config. system. If you don't want to use setup wizard just edit buid.prop
I tested this on stock rom:

Hello everyone, this is my first thread. I'm really in a trouble with my Samsung Galaxy Mini S5770.
Look I've rooted my android phone, and I was trying to increase the performance of my phone. I used this thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1309802 ) to increase the performance, I almost did everything I just needed to do final step which was to add lines, as you can go to that thread and look. I copied some files to my phone storage here /system/lib/hw , as it was instructed in that thread.
As I didn't complete the whole procedure because I had to deal with some work, and then after an hour I check my phone so it was off, I turned it on, so it come to home screen and after every 20 seconds it gets back to home screen closing every apps, first it will be black screen for 2 seconds then again to home screen, like the phone is being restarted/rebooted, but it will come direct to home screen after black screen, it happens every 20 seconds, I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP ME !!! It's only a phone I've now. I want it badly alive and working as normal.
For your kind information, I tried hard reset/wiping all data, but still the same result, it keeps crashing the whole system of my phone as I explained above. I think the files I copied in phone storage might be causing this problem. Is there any way to delete those files I copied from phone storage ? Now I can't download any app to delete those files because it doesn't let me, it crashes.

If you want to make your phone function normally, do a search first to check wheter mod is stable or not.
Here, in XDA you have to experiment yourself, find out which value makes your phone crashes.
If you did a search before you do it, this value :

Turns home app (launcher) priority to 0 (normal) so launcher keep killed since the RAM is full.

Yeah I've read your tips in my threads.
Well everyone in that post was saying it works well so I tried it but it failed. Anyways I've fixed it by installing rom again. Thanks for your kindness.

Before you post, you can try searching bit more deeper.
There's 1001 tutorial in Google to do this, so I advice you search before posting.

i couldnt find any for the gt s5770 i could however find loads for s5570 and i guess they both aint same but will the root procedure for the latter work for my device ???

May i ask if this working?
when i try to install cm12 it shows me the twrp logo strait away then back to install screen, doesnt seem to to want to install anything, tried lineage failed as well
