[Q] MIUI V6? - Sprint HTC One (M7)

Is anyone working on or is it even possible to try and port MIUI v6 to the m7spr at this moment?

So far, there aren't any V6 releases that I can get my hands on (only one I had access to at one point was a very early beta...I think like the first one, and if I remember right, it was for the Nexus 5 or 7...can't remember). I doubt anyone with access to their betas will share, as it's a sure fire way to get yourself banned from beta testing.
Right now, I'm focusing on some theme stuff I'm doing for Sense 6, but once I'm done with that, I'm going to work on porting an AOSP based 4.4.2 V5 to the m7.

That's awesome news hopefully that would resolve the camera prob I have been having with miui based on 4.2.2

[Q] Which is the most stable ics rom for nexus one?

Really want to taste ice cream sandwiches
Any?
Thank you!
Any suggestion?
Take a look at this one.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1557606
i will tell you what i tell everyone--test them all as each works better for some than others
Try the TexasICS Evervolv. I've using this rom and it's very stable from day to day use.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1366897
The BCM firmware is working well for me.
TexasIce
I'm using the TexasIce for long time, I face some problems once but now the rom is very stable. I recommend you to try it.
Just installed BCM and works like charm. Texasice seems like a good choice too
I'm running BCM ICS for about a week now and its is quite an amazing piece of work.
I have to admit that I rooted my Nexus One a week ago because I preferred the Desire over the Nexus.
So the Nexus has been sitting in my drawer for about 2 years.
But that said, I only have run Texasice and BCM.
They both run smooth on my Nexus.
I would admit like others, just try them all so you can make your own opinion.
hey try to flash miui v4 (ics rom) for nexus one latest one its more stable then any other ics rom

There is a MIUI thread in the Development. No need to provide link to another MIUI. BTW, you like MIUI doesn't mean someone will like it too.
What is battery life like with Miui?

Miui is ok but battery life, how does it compare to BCM/Texas Ice? Better or worse?

I have never used MIUI so I don't know the battery life.

Fastest and most stable rom (Perhaps non-sense?)

Greetings!
My friend asked me if I could speed up his incredible S, and I told him that I could try and install a new rom on it.
However, I don´t know a thing about Incredible S roms. I am looking for a stable and fast rom, he is an android noob
so it has to have little to no bugs. Also ICS or JB would be good.
I don´t know if MIUI is available for this phone, but if so, is it fast and bug free? How about AOKP or CM9/10?
Which roms would you guys recommend, I´d like to try some non-sense

MIUI works great on this For AOKP I would try IceCold. CM9/CM10 are still full of bugs here but if you want you can have a look at them also. I would recommend CodeNameAndroid, as it has got the coolest tweaks
I'd recommend you to give Paranoid Android a try.
Except for some kernel related stuff, there are no major issues, and yes - it is responsive. And with some undervolting I get really good battery life out of it as well, even though I overclock.

*edit*
"little to no bugs"
Well, CyanogenMod 7, MIUI or Sense-ROM's seems to be your options in that case.
Pretty much every AOSP/AOKP ROM with ICS/JB will have the same bugs since the current kernels that are used for them are hacked to work... so if he doesn't want any bugs he should stay away from ICS/JB ROM's that are AOSP/AOKP - for now at least, but if it doesn't matter that much if some stuff isn't working properly and so on: go for Paranoid Android or Codename android.

How about the Venom ViperVIVO?
As I remember, you and markj talked about it once or twice.
The least buggy rom I use has to be IceColdSandwich

ViperVIVO is not out for public yet, still beta's.
But from what I've heard, it seems to be worth a try when it is released

Well, it's a Sense ROM And it's not out for public yet but I tried it and if everything works, it's gonna be awesome as candy!
Is the MIUI rom functional and without bugs? MMS and all that shizzle working? Which version is the best, and is it 2.3 or 4.0?
Is MIUI completely bug free? Is it 2.3 or ICS that it is built on?

Miui gingerbread was based off CM7 so it didn't have many problems
Miui ICS is based off HTC's ICS ruu so there are not many problems either. Some problems from the chinese miui release were fixed by spongychicken. His rom is in the dev section, have a look
Codename android has my vote. It is a great JB ROM. however, it does have a few bugs.

Best ROM for PDroid? With close-to-stock experience?

Hi folks,
what's currently the best ROM to use PDroid on the Nexus 7?
I'd prefer an experience as close to a stock ROM as possible. It seems that 4.2.1 ROMs are out (not supported by the AutoPatcher), and I've tried to patch a few of the 4.2 ROMs floating around and haven't had much success either. Who is currently running PDroid and what ROM did you use as a base?

AFAIK opensensation2 has pdroid installed
You haven't had much success because development was dropped a long time ago. It only supports gingerbread.... sorry bud. I loved pdroid too

I should have clarified that I'm using PDroid 2.0, which is under active development for Jelly Bean.
Thanks for the tip regarding OpenSensation. For the time being I now patched a vanilla 4.1.2 AOSP build (4.2.1 is being worked on). Will look at OpenSensation these days.

Well I don't have a Sensation... and OpenSensation for the Nexus seems to be pretty much in beta... not to mention that the OpenSensation developer has been warning people that his server is compromised and that they shouldn't download anything (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35428325&postcount=9591), so I'll be taking my time with this.

We really need an MIUIv6 port

Hey guys without a doubt MIUI is one of the most beautiful ROMs that Android has to offer.. I would really love to see MIUI v6 on our beloved Moto X... We have soo many source built ROMs i really wish someone takes the time for MIUI porting!!
P.S It is possible to base MIUI on STOCK ROM as well..
http://en.miui.com/thread-12171-1-1.html
and maybe we will get to keep both Active display and touchless control!!
Any developers interested??
Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.... Pretty Pleaseeeeeeee! :fingers-crossed:

You cannot have the stock features in MIUI. Its a completely different rom.
And AFAIK it can be ported from CM only as base

I'm not completely sure about that. When I had a galaxy note, there was a rom made with touchwiz and miui so we had miui and multiwindow.
In fact, here's the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2244754.

Yeah... I remember reading about such a ROM for a HTC as well... Don't remember which one though... And do u have any patchROM knowledge?? I don't even closely understand what it does!
I think you'll see a Sense 6 port reach the Moto X faster than MIUI lol
I mean, the OG Razr just got a Sense 6 port. OG Razr!
I can try to port it but not promise anything. I ported miui v4 years ago for many devices, but there is always a issue porting a ROM.

Good thanks.. Just FYI patchrom is currently only for jb 4.2.2 .. Another way to port is smali diff yourself and using the build for nexus 7 and cm11 as base though you will still have to do some repo sync to fix some lib files... I have already try but for some reason I cannot get a log cat while it get stock on the boot logo, so I CNT figure out why I'm missing ... All the lucks and hope you can figure out.

Have you tried the Miui Millet beta? Gives you most of the Miui features but installs as an APK, http://xitong.xiaomi.com/index
Just translate the page to your language or the left green box is the download, the right one brings you to a forum discussion.
I would like a lot to see MIUI 6 running on ghost. Nobody try to port it yet?
