[Q] No play store on Galaxy Gear / Null 23 - Samsung Galaxy Gear

I've rooted, installed Null 23 and all is working. I have internet on the gear via BT tethering with the phone. However, I can't get Google Play store to work. Is there an APK I can try to reinstall for the Play store? I've tried to install the normal apk but that doesn't work and when I go into the apps folder and choose the normal Play store it hangs.
Any help appreciated.

Did you choose to install Google services (or whatever it's called) when installing null? If not, just flash again. Getting play store to work was not simple

Brilliant! Thanks, didn't realise you had to actually choose to install GAPPS when installing Null - reflashed, ticked the box, and it all works One happy chappy.

You may try
Go to settings
Then accounts and settings
Then check auto synchronize is ON
If not on keep on
Wait to synchronized the mail and account
Then reboot may work

Alredy happen to me
A common error occurs to Android users when they attempt to use Google Play to download apps that says “Error Processing Purchase DF-BPA-09″. The error usually doesn’t allow users to download anything and the problem will reoccur with every attempt.
The following steps usually fix this problem.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Applications.
3. Select the All tab.
4. Locate and tap Google Services Framework.
5. Select the Clear data button.
6. Tap OK on the warning that appears.
Although you may not have to, try restarting the device, then try to use Google Play. You should now have no problem downloading apps.

umm did you install it as a normal apk?... I think it is your problem, so using Root explorer or whatever you want put phonesky.apk (googleplay.apk) in system/app/ and set the correct permissions and reboot
Do not uninstall the stock play store app provided in any rom. If you wanna update it, just install the latest apk as an update to the existing older version. If you remove the older version using titanium backup, root explorer, etc., you are bound to get force closes. Donno why. Uninstall the existing play store. Try to flash the latest gapps and then install the latest play store. If that doesn't help, reflash the rom.

I saw, through lucky patcher, that i haven t got any play store's odex file; i don t know what this means, but..any possibility that this is my problem's reason?
Sent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Its not really a problem if you Lucky Patcher to install it as it makes its own odex file for the play store.
Make sure you install the -original- play store --first-- and then if you feel the need to install the modded do that.

Google play services

Can someone tell me which version google play services you have installed. I installed the wrong update and can't uninstall it. Thanks!
I have version 7.0.99 which is the correct version. Did u install your Google Play services thru the Play Store?
Sent from my SM-G925V using XDA Free mobile app
No I downloaded the latest. I'm too used to having a nexus....
And I need the last three numbers of the version number
5.3.6
Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk
I have been told that I think it needs to end in 440,,can someone else verify this? Downloading the wrong play services will cause all kinds of problems.
If you go here
http://www.apkmirror.com/
they usually update pretty fast just make sure you look at the notes for what play services to install.
