[BOOT ANIMATION] The Droids

I am currently working on some boot animations.
The next couple of weeks this thread will be updated
and new animations will be added.

Created a droid in 3d for the upcoming animation (not sure when that is)
I'll keep you updated if there is any progress.
HowTo
The pathnames and filenames may be different for you, so please check that first before asking (Using 480x800_AndroidGlow1.zip as an example file)
ADB
- Install the android SDK
- Open Command Prompt
- Locate the SDK tools folder where ADB is located (example: <cd c:\android-sdk-windows\tools>)
- Now enter the following code in Command Prompt
adb remount
adb push c:\temp\480x800_AndroidGlow1.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
adb reboot

Terminal Emulator
- Connect your phone to your computer via USB
- Copy the downloaded file to your sdcard
- Disconnect phone from computer
- Open Terminal Emulator on your phone and enter the code below (press enter after every line)
su
cp /sdcard/480x800_AndroidGlow1.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
reboot

Root Explorer
- Connect your phone to your computer via USB
- Rename the downloaded file to 'bootanimation.zip' and copy to your sdcard
- Disconnect phone from computer
- Open 'Root Explorer'
- Copy/Paste the /sdcard/bootanimation.zip to /data/local/ (make sure it's read/write)
- Reboot

Boot animations are spectacular very nice. I loaded the AndroidParticles one but as I am seeing a little to much for my grandpa mytouch 3g lol. But still non the less I like it alot.

First bootanimations I actually like. I'm using AndroidParticles now

Is it possible for the particles to have the circle keep spinning around the droid logo instead of it repeating the whole animation over and over. I think it would look cleaner.

Wy can't I see animated images on the android app, will look at it tomorrow

Installed android particles loop to my phone, but i can't understand. I see only 1.5 or 2 loops, and then some black screen for 3-4 seconds. maybe 5. then phone boot and work.
If this can be because the animation got insufficient frames? (i mean all the frames are shown, but the phone hasn't loaded)?
Can any1 comment on it?

I don't know, maybe it's the ROM you are using.
I'm using Cyanogen ROM and i see 1 or 2 loops then it goes directly (less then 1 sec) to lockscreen.
Still don't like it that it first needs to put all the images in cache before the animation goes smooth though...

Can you make the circle logo go around instead of lightning up? that will look kooler.

it's easy, all you gotta do it's search for that logo on google and animated.

Hey Mate
The boot animation looks different on the defy then the gif you posted here.
The Background is not black, it is grey.
I have no Idea why it is this way, but maybe some of you guys know it.
I am running CM7 on my defy.
EDIT:
I fixed it myself using Photoshop Batch functions.
I have attached the Bootanimation from the first post darkened and resized to 480x854

I have a Inspire 4G and downloaded original bootanimation.zip 480x800 moved it to the /system/customize/resource/ folder. Doesn't work, so what now? I tried renaming it to the folder ATT-bootanimation. All that happens is I see the blue Android name and it animates by flashing across the letters. Any ideas?

If ur on custom rom, install root explorer and go to system/media! Then delete bootanimation.zip and replace it with some other bootanimation.zip found here!

name it to .. "bootanimation" ...

I have created this New Reality v1.0 bootanimation for all Android users. This bootanimation is in 720p resolution with 30fps. It will work perfectly in android 4.3+ and above .
This bootanimation is based on the intro of WatchDogs 2 game. We all love the cool and awesome intro of the WatchDogs 2 game. Now it's time to give a awesome Text effect look to your phone.
If you want to make this bootanimation as your default bootanimation then follow each and every steps carefully. I am providing the zip file below to download New Reality v1.0 bootanimation.
Pre-requisite :

Paranoid Android Boot Animation Port
Hey all! The Paranoid Android team has recently changed the boot animation for AOSPA in the 7.2.1 update. Since I don't have a supported device, I ported the boot animation over to my device. Thanks a lot to franlimon6 for extracting the boot animation so I could use it. The only problem was, it was in 1440p and I have 1080p device. I then ported the boot animation to 1080p and 720p which took a while to get done. Anyway, here's a preview:

Paranoid Android Boot Animation Port
Hey all! The Paranoid Android team has recently changed the boot animation for AOSPA in the 7.2.1 update. Since I don't have a supported device, I ported the boot animation over to my device. Thanks a lot to franlimon6 for extracting the boot animation so I could use it. The only problem was, it was in 1440p and I have 1080p device. I then ported the boot animation to 1080p and 720p which took a while to get done. Anyway, here's a preview:
One neat thing is that this boot animation has a sound at the end that plays!
Installation
These are flashable ZIPs so it's pretty easy to set up.
First, download the correct file for your device
Next, boot into recovery
Select install and locate the ZIP file
Tap the ZIP file and swipe to flash!
