Is it just me or is this ROM missing the fundamental volume-to-skip-tracks feature in most AOSP ROMs? Not meaning to sound rude.

You were right, its in Lock screen settings... Anyways, thanks for your work Papa Smurf, running this on my nexus 7 as well and the setting is in sound lol. Thanks again. :thumbup: oh and something else I noticed is that for whatever reason the lock screen slider from ROM control with 8 spots doesn't show up, only the one with 4 under lock screen settings in the normal settings menu is ever applied.

Did your try turning on/off the dark mode? What theme and font is that? Does your issue happen with the stock theme?

That worked just fine it was dark mode the issue, thanks a lot, btw theme is blue alloy cm 10.1 and the font is from Rom Toolbox Pro

hi onejay this rom is also great nice work but want to tell u init.d tweaks nd build.prop tweaks dose not working for me i dnt know its me only or some body also have this issue just want u to know its dose not save values when i press back and open it again its going to back to original state means when i tick super tweaks and bck and again enter its autometically unchecked dnt knw wat happend

Same problem. I could not log into google account with no wifi.
Rom itself looks amaizing. I like Pacman in black feature.
I will also try to install it over CM11 without wipe.
How can i install this rom ? i do the download butt it was a folder and not a zip.
how don't know how to install a folder or if is possible...
if anyone can help it would be great

I have zip after download.
Just Installed the ROM. Wifi Signals are weak!! testing other stuff.. My opinion is v17 was better than this one that's what i think may b i am wrong becuz the v17 interface is more attractive than this one!

Same thing happening with me also. After selecting Init.d options getting back to it shows that options are unchecked :-S

you need yo mount system as rw before applying settings, init.d tweaks work build prop tweaks wont apply if sys is r-o

This ROM is GOD DAMN FAST. Only problem I have encountered so far is that I cannot recieve MMS :/
Also everytime I rebooot the phone the nav bar appears even tho I haven't enabled it. Just enabling and disabling fixed it.
What about mobile data connection guys?

Do you used 4.3 kernel sources on this rom? And do i need flash file boot.img in zip file? (i'm using omni rom 4.4.2)

I used this sources- https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_sony_msm8x60/tree/cm-11.0 and yes you'll have to flash boot.img. BTW if you encounter bugs which were not present in omni, after booting this ROM, try to flash omni kernel and let me know how that goes

....btw just for your info starting from 4.4.2 I didn't have to flash boot.img.. just entered twrp, full wiped, and flashed..

Just stocks ROMs/stock based ROMs. MHL is a closed standard iirc, so it usually breaks with custom ROMs, not just on our phone.

don't think so. and i guess it does work only in stock or stock based roms since all the AOSP based roms around here (pac man, aokp, cm, liquidsmooth, omni nightlies etc etc) have the same fxp kernel and so they all share the exact same bugs
don't know about last omni homebuild by tilal btw, maybe something is changed there since that rom is the only one using new 4.3 kernel sources so far?
try that, or ask in the omni thread if somebody running the homebuild has tried that thing already...
edit: geo were much faster! :|
Got some blue screens, but after few hours it's okay. No Google Sync though :/ Otherwise ROM is smooth and some features are awesome

the omni guys using the freexperia kernel? i thought it's the other way around.. and aren't everyone (fxp, omni etc.) using the new 4.3 kernel sources btw? i seem to remember people not having bluescreens since it's included in fxp/cm.
EDIT: sorry, for some reason my tired mind substituted 'nfc' for 'mhl'. my bad. haven't ever tested mhl..

if you press "root" on the right , and then select "serannoltexx" folder you can get into the download folder with the nightlies
Hi, in the download section I see that there's a new nightly almost every second day but when I click on the changelog it says that I don't have access to that page. What changed between the releases?

The PAC-man-ROM 4.3 I provided in the past and I also maintain the 4.4. Currently the 4.4 has the Alpha status and after the build process at my own machine, I have the following information.

At my own machine, I was able as for tur build a running ROM, I got several errors, which caused stops during the build. This is not a problem for me because these errors have to be fixed by the PAC-man team and me and at alpha version are they typically.
I know, at the PAC-man homepage, you will find archives. Please keep in mind, that they are result of an automatic process and haven't been checked anymore. When they run fine, good luck if not, I hope that you have a backup.
Please take care when you use these alpha versions.
please update with correct download links for rom and gapps for this phone!
if not possible please supply information on what should be downloaded.

1st thing i noticed is text messages app is gone and hangouts has incorporated messaging.
I tried the newest version and there is no Modem functionality (no GSM connections possible). Baseband in About says UNKNOWN, and this is the case for both Modem-I9195XXUBNA2 and the latest Modem-I9195XXUBNB3.
The same modems work fine in other 4.4 roms (SlimRom, for example).

After further investigation there is another file that has been updated so we need to copy two files from latest CM nightly
system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so
and
system/lib/libril.so
The libril.so in pac 20 k smaller in CM it's 52 k
I have working network in 25th pac nightly

Activate Mobile Data
Flashed, it's not making it past the activate mobile data service screen. I can skip that part of the setup, but then I have no data service. Any idea?
Tried to run GPS Status and got this...
???
After everything is set up I cannot access settings and the keyboard stopped working.

Alright guys, sorry for these issues. I have a gsm model but these builds were supposed to be unified. I'll see what I can't figure out and let y'all know.

I don't think GPS works at all. Tried some other apps and GPS tools, and got nothing.
Switched to sense ROM to get lock, then restored this backup, and still a no go.
Yeah, the GPS is a bit wonky. I was able to get it to tell me where I was with Google Maps by clicking the little circular icon in the lower right corner of Google Maps and it could then show me the route step-by-step to get to my destination but each time I had to refocus on the Google Maps application i received a message that "Turn by turn navigation is not supported on devices with no GPS hardware." Or something very close to that message.....flashed over to CM 11 for the m8 and google maps works just fine. I see you've already said you're working on it so good luck, not trying to pester, just trying to help with some additional user experience. I like this ROM a lot so I hope you get it working soon! =)
P.S. Where did you see they were unified? I'm curious if they are going to unify all these M8 carrier variants like they did with the moto_msm8960 unified build?
Would be great if so, the international M8 device thread is overflowing with custom ROMs.....we have 2. lol. =)
Does anyone know how easy or difficult it would be to get the double-tap wake feature? For a phone like this it's rather necessary. The damn button is just too high.
Incidentally I was able to easily use some apps and/or shortcuts to enable a double tap feature to close the screen. But I can't find any apps that would allow for waking the phone.
Other than that little thing I'm really liking this ROM. I used it with my SGS3 and I don't plan on leaving it. Pacman Rocks!
Just wanted to see where this stands guys, used to do some testing with Jamie on jewel. Is the cm theme chooser being used?

Yeah there is almost always a current nightly for the M8 and if you view in the Pac Console within the ROM it will show you all the new commits and what's not in your ROM already that was added. There is not always something updated specifically for the M8 as far as i can tell....but the ROM continues to evolve and remain compatible with the M8whl. ^^
