You need to use TWRP 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 and have an M7_U or M7_UL model.

I now searching is hard :crying:, but if you had even bothered in the slightest to read the thread, almost every page says (including the OP!!):
You need to use TWRP 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 and have an M7_U or M7_UL model.

flash TWRP
http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m7/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
MD5 72067aefb69541d40e8420d7aa46408d
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Enter recovery and try again
It pays to read the instructions on flashing a custom rom, found usually on the first page..

Sorry I am fairly new to this, what is OP? And if I install twrp will it definitely work?

Known issue. Seach for latest fastboot drivers and install them on your PC without htc sync. That should do the trick. I have them on my laptop, but I'm not at home right now so I can't help you at this time

Thanks for your help, I'll install these:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Are these the correct drivers? I'll edit my comment later to see if it works.
EDIT: I installed those drivers but it still has the same result with no ability to flash twrp, so maybe those aren't the right ones?

facing same issue
I'm facing a similar issue; installed ARHD 71.1 using TWRP 2.7 (then again using TWRP 2.6.3.3). Process I followed is like this:
1. Wipe System/Cache/Dalvick Cache/Data
2. Install ROM, complete the AROMA installer - says installed successfully
3. Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache
4. Reboot
Bootloader is HTCDev unlocked, HBOOT 1.56, M7_UL is the type I have. I have tried several times, but the phone can't get past the HTC screen. I can boot into bootloader and into recovery too - both fastboot and adb working if required.
Any solution to be able to boot this ROM?

It takes few minutes for the first boot. If it doesn't boot try pressing power button till your phone shuts down. Second boot should work fine (at least it works for me every time)

[Q] HTC One stuck in recovery and bootloader

Hello,
I recently decided to update my ROM to Renovate 8.2 (I had a really old version of it before so I already did all the necessities to install a ROM). Everything went perfectly, I downloaded the ROM and put it in the phone's storage. Went into TWRP recovery (2.5.0), install -> clicked on the ROM zip, followed the on screen direction, installation went smoothly, then finish -> reboot.
Since then, the phone default boots to recovery; I can also access bootloader, but that's it.
I have looked for a solution everywhere, but nothing seems to work. The most promising seems to be the adb sideload, but I get the device not recognized error (all the fix for this error need me to get into the settings page in the phone, which I can't access).
I suspect it has something to do with dalvik cache/cache, but I don't know what to do.
Any help would be appreciated!
Have you updated your TWRP to the latest version? What about firmware updates prior to flashing the ROM?

I put the phone into bootloader no problem, ran the program, connected it to my PC via USB as instructed, the bootloader even reads FASTBOOT USB which is suppose to happen; but when I proceed with the program, it's stuck on "waiting for device". My PC gives the error "USB device not recognized".
I am using this recovery program.

Guys I am so stumped!
I can't update TWRP because my PC refuses to recognize my HTC One, I have tried numerous driver fix solutions but they all end up with either "USB device not recognize" or "the best driver is already installed" when I tried to manually install the drivers.
I am also considering just resetting the phone, how would I go about that if I am stuck in recovery and bootloader?
Any help would be appreciated!

HOLD YOUR HORSES!!
since PC isn't seeing your phone, go to bootloader screen, and report back the following:
1- What kind of phone do you have M7_U/UL ?? cause the recovery you posted is for "TWRP 2.6.3.4 for HTC One 802w (M7C_DUG)"
2- What's your hboot version
3- Which OS are you running on your PC?
Have you got a friend or family member with a PC running Windows 7. Windows 8.1 has known issues with fastboot drivers.

To the original OP.
Windows 8.1 will not work with hboot 1.44. You will need a windows 7 set up for adb and fastboot with HTC drivers installed.
The file i sent you is TWRP 2.6.3.3. Once you have fastboot on windows 7 type---
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7
or get the TWRP from here--
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
This will give you the correct recovery for your M7ul
Say I am considering a complete reset? What options do I have given that I am stuck in recovery/bootloader and have trouble getting my PC to recognize the phone.
Thank you to everyone for all the help so far.

[Q] No OS in bootloader and stuck in boot loop with every ROM

Hey Guys,
I was using my HTC One as normal until 2 days ago when the phone froze up while receiving a call.
I was running SlimKat 4.4 stable 3 ROM and it was running fine until then
I thought a quick reboot of the phone would fix it but all I got was a black screen with the soft buttons at the bottom turning on and off when I pressed the power button as if the phone was acting normally
With this I tried to reflash the ROM through CWM but it wouldn't mount the data properly and couldn't follow usual flashing procedures
I proceeded to try flashing TWRP and flash the ROM from there but still nothing
I then accidentally completely wiped the phone of everything and lost the OS
I then had to sideboot a ROM but got stuck on a bootloop
For the past 2 days I've been going through endless threads and couldn't find anything to fix this.
Everytime I flash a ROM it just goes into bootloop after the "HTC Quietly Brilliant" screen
I've tried flashing ROMs through both TWRP and CWM but all of them do the same thing.
The ROMs I've tried are: Android Revolution HD 36.1, Venom, Slimkat and Liquid
The closest I've got to the phone working as normal is Liquid.
With Liquid the phone bootloops once or twice then boots normally however there is no sound output and cannot make calls.
Also my phone is *tampered* and *Unlocked* with Hboot 1.54 as well as S-On as Rumrunner and firewater couldnt S-Off.
I hope you guys can help!
Thanks in advance

Also, TWRP 2.6.3.4 doesn't play very well with a few roms. Flash 2.6.3.3
After it installs, wipe the cache and see whether ur problem is solved. Type this in command to erase cache:

You have this problem because your device is s-on and it needs to be s-off as stated in the OP for the nexus rom.
You will have to reboot to recovery and sideload another rom to flash, one that doesn't require you to be s-off so that means no google edition roms.... as quoted above ARHD 62.0 is ok for you.
Search XDA for "sideload" and you will find all the info you need to recover your device.

[Q] after Rom flash issue

I've tried 3 different roms today, Viper one, badboys, and android revolution HD.
After I flashing with the latest TWRP then, wiping davik/cache, and rebooting the same result. I can see the fancy LOCK screen but after I slide up to unlock it, all I can see is the green HTC logo with the wite background, then after awhile it'll reboot. in addition it tells me that com.htc.htcdialer isn't responding and asks if I want to close it.
help would be appreciated.
Try flashing twrp 2.6.3.3. Some of the newer versions have issues

Alright, will do.
Ok, i tried twrp version 2633, I tried to go to recovery but it goes straight to a regular boot, I also tried philz, which did the same as the latest twrp.
Try the fastboot erase cache command and then see if u can get into recovery. U need twrp for arhd

That worked, I got back into recovery. But we're back at square one, Green HTC logo with white background also, "Process com.htc.htcdialer isn't responding"
I let it sit there for about 40 mins after i chose to wait instead of closing com.htc.htcdialer and the phone setupstarted. wooo. Lets see how it runs. so far i'm getting no service bars from sprint and sync'ing contact is stuck of syncing, it's been more than an hr.
UPDATE, i rebooted and once again i'm stuck at the green HTC logo with the white background after unlocking the screen.
Bump. reading around, nothing is working. tried formating and full wipes before rom flashes, also tried doing a RUU but it fails. giving me a 155, Yes I was relocked for for the RUU and i had to go in fastboot usb for the RUU to detect my phone.

Tried all sorts of things bro. If the sprint released RUU doesn't work Idk what will. Hope it's just some simple solution that we're all overlooking.
I'm no expert on that. But that is the Sprint mobile correct? I'm not sure of the difference between that and the international one. Did you try flashing roms from the Sprint HTC one forum. They may not be compatible

I think you're doing quite a few mistakes here, including using recoveries not for you phone.
TWRP for Sprint is here: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7wls
Now luckily you are S-Off, so best to RUU back to Sprint to fix your partitions, then you can start customizing again.
With S-Off there is no need to lock/relock bootloader, you can leave it UNLOCKED.
If you are using an RUU.EXE then you will manually have to downgrade hboot to 1.44 first for it to work, otherwise I would really recommend you use a ruu.zip (and make sure it's Sprint and check MD5 on the download to know it's not corrupt):
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip <- yes TWICE !!
fastboot reboot-bootloader
And don't even think about S-ON!!

I ran different recoveries for the m7, twrp 263, philz, twrp 70 because I was told the newer twrp recovery has slight bugs. I always wiped clean after I tried installing roms also. I'll take your advice and try the RUU.zip.

best to use an ruu.zip to get your partitions back in order, then go ahead and flash a recovery (specifically for Sprint; eg I don't think Sprint has a 2.6.3.3 version), and then you can customize your phone to your liking
most of us are on m7_u/ul , so it's sort of "second nature" to say: use twrp 2.6.3.3
So i pushed Ruu.zip to my /sdcard idk if i needed that and did fastboot fastboot oem rebootRUU then fastboot flash zip ruu.zip twice like you said. I tried again after deleting Ruu.zip from my /sdcard and it still gave me

[Q] Error 171 on my htc one while running RUU

After months of thinking it through, i finally decided to give up on sense and try cyanogenmod... horrible desicion. I tried the installer and according to to the installer itself the install had concluded without error and all i had to do now was wait for my device to boot. When booting my device off andd after 5 minutes of beeing stuck in a bootloop, i realized that something had gone horribly wrong. I found many solutions online, but ended up narrowimg down to 2 options: wipe data/ factory reset and wipe dalvik through CWM or running a ruu to go bavk to stock and retry from there. Tried doing the wipe but i kept getting the error "Cant mount data" so i pretty much gave up on that option and went for running the RUU. Succesfully locked my bootloader again and all that was left for me to do was run the ruu and wait for my htc one to be running sense again! While going through the installer, i got an error at around the" 1/5" part of the ruu install (i used an exe) which said "error 171, check usb connection" and i also simultaniously got a pop up window that said "htc_fastboot.exe has stopped working" . At this point i really dont know what to do. PLEASE! Someone help me!

I think it's down to Windows 8 - fastboot isn't detecting the drivers Which is why it fails with error 171
Have you tried again with a Windows 7 PC?
I think there is a post on here about getting fastvoot drivers to work on Windows 8. I'll have a look

Does fastboot work normally or does it only fail when running an RUU, if that's the case uninstall HTC Sync if you have it installed. But leave drivers installed. HTC sync is known to cause problems with RUU's
But there is no RUU that will work for you since your device is s-on and on the latest firmware. Downgrading is not possible with s-on. At this point the best you can hope for is to flash a custom rom. At least you can get the phone booting that way.
Do if adb/fastboot is working normally just push a Rom and install it. If you can't get adb/fastboot working on your Windows 8 pc try my mini guide here to create a bootable Linux pen drive.

You can't use this RUU on your phone because its an older version. You need s-off to flash lower version RUU. You will need to either s-off your phone or restore it using a nandroid backup of 6.07.1540.1 or flash another custom rom like Danny suggested above. Look in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2355992 you might found a nandroid backup of that version. If you can find it just tell me and I'll upload mine for you. I also have the stock recovery for that version if needed.
to install cyanogenmod you need a recovery with block:by-name support like newer version of TWRP.

Download the latest CWM recovery and flash it with fastboot. http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/HTCOne/recovery/M7CWM/recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.8-m7.img
Code:
fastboot flash recovery "nameofrecovery".img
fastboot erase cache
Download CM11 here. Rename the file to rom.zip and place it in your fastboot folder on your pc.
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/HTCOne/M7/roms/CM11/cm-11-20140624-NIGHTLY-m7.zip
Also download gapps rename it to gapps.zip and place it in your fastboot folder.
http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/gapps/PA/pa_gapps-stock-4.4.3-20140608-signed.zip
Boot your phone to cwm recovery and connect usb. Do a factory reset then in the command window type
Code:
adb push rom.zip /sdcard
Wait for the push to compmete
Code:
adb push gapps.zip /sdcard
again wait for completion, it's normal for the command window to appear unresponsive until the push completes.
Now use cwm to install the Rom.zip followed by gapps.zip.

He also asked me (via PM) a TWRP nandroid backup of stock 6.07.1540.1 which I have uploaded for him yesterday.
No update yet, still don't know if the OP will flash the rom or restore the nand but I think he wants to flash the rom (but have the nand just in case).
