thanks for your answer. kind of weird that no one else has this issue.
I don't think it has anything to do with recovery itself, but if it does:
CWM recovery 6.0.4.8
sorry to post again. i dont want to spam or anything the forum.
nut it really bothers me.

no one else have thins issue?

Hi,
Okay, I know how to root the GSM HTC One, as there are many tutorials online telling me how to.
The problem is that I'm using a Telstra branded (An Australian carrier) HTC One.
So, will the GSM method work? and if not, can you please give me the things needed to root my Telstra HTC One, if any?
My software number is: 1.19.841.2
My build number is: 1.29.841.2 CL164689 release-keys
If there are any other details you need, just tell me and I'll put them up.
I'm really new to XDA, so forgive me if I left anything out.
Thanks in advance

Then install TWRP I think.
Let us know how you go.
Not sure if Telstra use a different radio to run NextG @ 850mHz or not?

4.1.2
Sense 5.0
Stock, Telstra AU
Follow this tutorial: http://www.cultofandroid.com/26527/rooting-the-htc-one-the-right-way-how-to/ you have to use the AT&T version of TWRP Recovery.

Does this actually work on the Telstra HTC One? I've flashed both TWRP and CWM Touch on the Telstra HTC One, and while the flash works, trying to actually reboot into recovery does not.. it goes to the HTC white screen with a brief flash of red text at the bottom, then a black screen, then reboots into system normally... no recovery...
Am I missing something?

Yeah I flashed it on my Telstra HTC One.
The same thing happened to me when I flashed the normal TWRP recovery, and then I tried the AT&T version of the TWRP recovery which fixed it.

Hmm.. I tried downloading what I thought was the AT&T one, and that's the result I had. Let's assume I'm missing something.. Any chance you can link me to the correct recovery to flash? Please? ^_^

I followed this tutorial http://www.cultofandroid.com/26527/rooting-the-htc-one-the-right-way-how-to/ step by step, and when it comes to flashing the TWRP Recovery, use the AT&T one which is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2242031
Hope this helps.
So when I flash ROMs, I should AT&T ROMs?

No any custom roms will do
Hi, I have searched and I have tried, reaching out...
Desire C Cricket HBOOT 1.63 Radio 0.92.00.0903 Unlocked Bootloader S-On
I was trying to put a recovery on and root after unlocking bootloader and for whatever reason I cannot get into any recovery other than stock. Once in stock I cannot flash anything. Only thing I could tell was previous owner had a customer kernel on it but now I cannot get past the HTC red writing screen.
Normally in this situation I would go back to stock via PL01DIA.zip update in bootloader but I cannot find a viable one for this specific device.
OK, somehow got a working CWM Recovery. But I cannot get any roms to boot past the HTC red writting screen. Does anyone out there have a full CWM backup of a working Cricket rom?

You have a cdma phone. All the roms and recoveries here are for GSM phones. Do not flash anything..

Thanks guys! Sorry for bugging around this forum. Anyone with CDMA ping me, I'm not finding any friends I need a clean back up of any Cricket rom from CWM since it looks like the RUU was never made.
Or, if anyone knows how to change the CID on this phone without S-off. Just looking to make it an MP3 player.

There's only 2 or 3 people with CDMA Desire C's none of them seem to be active here anyway, search for your RUU, maybe a stock Rom will work for you, i'm not sure..

Easiest method : Read the guide.
I tried installing the "Android Revolution HD ROM 41.0 to my HTC One Sprint,
But it was not successful as it froze while booting in the screen with the HTC logo and beats logo in blue color. Maybe its because 41.0 is not supported with the Sprint version (Is it?? because I don't plan on using sprint anymore).
Therefore I restore the backed up system with TRWP 2.6.3.0, Now the phone boots up normally but reboots after about every minute..... My phone is unlocked and rooted......PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
thank you

So I just bought a new one m7, and have tried to update mulitple times.
The update downloads fine, but when the phone "turns off" to install, it gets halfway through, untill I recieve a red exclamation mark.
The update is 6.09.401.10
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks in advance

When you say new, did you buy it brand new or second hand, just new to you ? Ha e you done anything to the phone yourself like unlocked the boot loader for instance or is it 100% stock ?
Bought as brand new, I have done absolutely nothing with it

There is a way for us to fix it, but as its brand new it will void your warranty, so my suggestion to you is take it back to where you got it from and make it their problem.
Would that be complicated?
Thank you for your time

If you don't know how to use fastboot and adb commands and are a complete newbie at flashing things to your phone in the boot loader then I'm sorry the answer is yes it is complicated.

It would first require you unlocking the boot loader at HTC dev, could then probably get away with flashing the firmware that your phone is trying to update too, that's firmware only, not Rom, you would then have to flash a custom recovery and push the stock Rom zip to your internal storage using adb do a wipe and then flash the Rom, if you wanted complete stock, you would then have to flash back the stock recovery.
Your warranty would now be void as it will say tampered and unlocked in big colourful letters at the top of your boot loader
