Hi all!
I thought i'd try out CyanogenMod 7.1.0 on my Optimus 2X, so I built myself an update zip (with my MCR optimisations). I wanted to play around with the options so I built myself a kitchen. I turned that kitchen into a normal online kitchen and also into a FREE kitchen. The kitchens are in this topic at MoDaCo. The member kitchen delivers the download instantly, the free kitchen delivers the download links by e-mail, in association with Filesonic. That is the ONLY difference between the kitchens!
If you'd like to see any tweaks or changes to the kitchen feel free to ask, perhaps a few bits from the MCR ROM pulled in might work well. This is just an experiment really... enjoy!

Please Help me......:crying:
I Bricked my A57 while flashing splash partition with fastboot.:crying:
n I cant enter recovery mode or fast boot mode...(just blank screen and vibration feedback when i press power/lock key)
but my phone is able load in download mode I can see Q/QCP-XXX(Download) in QPST.
so to flash from there I need Partition.mbn or partition.bin
and If possible also provide NPRG7627a.hex (I downloaded Generic version for msm7627a)

yeahh. I am still waitting for your rom. I flashed rom 3 days ago. Very good. No bugs and battery friendlly with stock kernel. I am testting Boeffla kernel. I will post screen shot late. :good:

Tried your theme on another rom, appears to have worked fine. Only thing I don't like with the theme is all the red, I feel it would look better in either grey or a different shade of blue instead of red.

I can't post over there because I'm too new here, but to answer a concern there: all of the Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4501, Spice Dream UNO Mi-498, and Karbonn Sparkle V have identical boot..img, system.img, ramdisk.img, bootloader.img, recovery.img, preloader_sprout.bin, etc. Only oem.img is different.

what do u mean taste android one? it is nearly aosp kk no different from ur phone which i assume has kk. and it lacks only in battery other specs are super.

I want to say 1 thing.. Canvas A1 has bootloader which is not availble in other MTK devices So.. make this point in ur mind nd then do your work...

Hi mates, is it possible to record the kernel logs by running adb logcat? I apologize Im a noob
I tried to port this ROM to an MT6582 device, but cannot get pass the first logo screen, Not bootlogo screen...
I tried adb logcat, but no logs due to no bootloop

First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM or CTR.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
-Wipe all Data(System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache for wipe menu::::THIS STEP IS NECCESSARY)

Increase its size using Photoshop or any other.

What then are the requirements for a compatible ROM for two similar devices??
I have searched the internet for a stable ROM for my device. Seems there is none. That's why I'm worried.

you cant flash one device rom to another device,until both of them are exact clones. i think only walton primo HM and Qmobile Noir M90 (not sure) are exact clones of gionee M2.
another way is port this rom to your device and flash.there are plenty of porting guides available here in xda.
