Well I've tried to search everywhere and play with every option on my phone I have an HTC One m7 they just did an update today on my phone and there's this ugly ass emerald green everywhere and I can't find the option to change it or get rid of it or revert. Any help guys?

Yup I hate it too, why they would choose that colour as standard is beyond me, that's why I will only use a custom sense 6 rom where you can change all of that.
Anyway, go to settings - personalize - themes to change it for now.
or you could root, download xposed installer and then sense 6 toolbox to change it, a bit more complicated though.
Yeah I did that I selected the thing that has black in it and a picture of a frozen um evergreen branch or some ****. But still everything I touch is highlighted in green and all of my contacts that don't actually have pictures have big ****ing square green patches on them. You know I'm no stranger to rooting and flashing. I usually end up doing it toward the end of my contract that's usually when the phone starts ****ing up to. But I love this phone so much the way it is. Trust me a time will come and overclocking along with free wifi for everyone. **** sprint they can lick my balls. It's better than a iphone but we're not there yet the fellas.

flash the latest viper one sense 6 rom, they have loads of very cool themes for their sense 6 rom in the themes section.

Yeah I had Viper ROM on my htc evo 3d I liked it I also liked the CyanogenMod. But to tell you the truth I prefer the stock look. But I like the overclocking and the access to WiFi sharing. You know I noticed the more and more you mod a phone it's like an addiction he keeps throwing **** from everywhere together little bit from here a new skin from there. I knew kernel from another place then you flash the radio. And then you end up with a hodgepodge. And then you brick your phone lol

Welcome to the world of wanting your device your way. Either flash a rom or redo the hundreds of xml and image changes to get rid of the green.
Well I decided to call HTC and ask them about it and I told them I've been a customer with them since the hero and then the HTC EVO 3d and now the HTC One m7 and I explained the situation and they basically told me well it's all part of sense 6 and there's no way you could take it out so you're SOL. So it looks like a rooting I will go thanks for all the support guys

Good old customer services, so customer aware and helpful
You can change the theme in Sense 6 in the Personalise menu, not that I ever did as I quite like the green but I've gone to GPe

I put this in the General section because there is no development going on with this at all (in this thread keep an eye open in dev section for a rom built from this base). If mods want to move it to Dev section then so be it, but there is nothing else being done to this zip.
THIS IS A PURE STOCK TELSTRA SENSE 3.5 build. It has been rooted, deodexed, zipaligned, but nothing else has been done to make it any better. it still has all the Telstra bloat, and horrible wallpapers.
this is not designed for people to flash willy nilly, if you dont know how to fastboot the boot.img on it, then it will not work for you, and i will not hold your hand in doing so. all this is, is a stock base, CWM flashable for anyone to use as they please. if you dont know how to do any of this stuff, then leave it alone and let someone else do the hard work for you, but dont complain about anything. nothing in this zip has been optimized for the vivid or canadian raider.
i have attached the boot.img in a zip file to this post, you HAVE to fastboot flash the boot image before you can flash the rom in CWM. if you dont know how, you better google that ish.
i am not responsible for stupidity. i have flashed this onto my phone 30 times already in various stages, so it is somewhat usable in its current form, but needs a lot of tweaks and changes.
thanks to bananacakes for his updater-script, and binary, as the one i was originally trying to use didnt like me and i didnt want to waste time on it.
again...i repeat. this is not for you if you dont know how to make it work. this is not a hand holding thread, and i am not supporting this

Stay away from att messages!, it resets & hijacks your voicemail config from the att side. It's a pain in the rear to reset There's a reason why its not seen from the marketplace on the us vivid. Stick with the visual voicemail apk.

not only that, it moves your mailbox from one voicemail system to another, so you lose any saved messages, all your greetings. Pain in the ass, not worth it.
Holy cow, bloatware in the stock HTC apps?! Dang. I can't believe that it's actually worse than ATT.
Looks like RRb5 took care of most of it; I'd still like to see some Sense 3.5 Beats music up in there, though. I figured out how to "port" it between Sense 3 ROMs, but efforts to port to 3.5 failed as they completely redid the music app for that.
Going to temporarily roll back to Sense 3 for now, till 3.5 is fully debloated. Great ROM though, Pirate!

Uh yeah, I mentioned in my post that I've tried it; I just rolled back to S3 for now because the stock apps (read: music) are bloatless. RRb5 still has BigPond in places around the ROM.

yay, my dad got my a 32gb for xmas! anywho I'm really liking it and the responsiveness of AOKP so far! i have to say, i had the most frustrating time rooting it though (i'm no noob to rooting anything btw), never had so much trouble. the rootkits weren't able to adb to my tablet and were giving me problems for about 3 hours. i finally said "**** it" i'll just unlock with fastboot and put twrp on it the manual way (which only took about 3 minutes).
anywho! i've been on jelly bean for a few months now on my sprint sgs3 (4.1.2), so i'm not new to jellybean at all. but, i am new to 4.2.1. is that quick settings pulldown thingy new to 4.2.1 or is that nexus 7 feature that most roms have? i find it quite annoying since i usually use my right thumb to pull down the notification bar, but often find myself not reaching far enough left to avoid pulling down the settings bar. are there ROMs that give us the option of moving those settings widgets back to the notification menu or disabling the quick settings menu? im on AOKP and haven't seen it yet.
im really looking forward to trying out all the different roms that are available!
It's new to 4.2.1. Hope you like it.

Yea, setting up the drivers for it were a *****, had a hard time on two computers at work then used Wug's toolkit and installed the drivers manually. I did have to manually reboot into fastboot to install the drivers and reboot after all the drivers were all installed, but in the end that was the best way I found to do it; had no errors and it did warn that I may have to reboot for all to work correctly.

Just use a different launcher. Only problem is that you won't have access to sense widgets.

I wouldn't go as far as removing/uninstalling Blinkfeed, but I'm curious to what extend this new central piece of Sense can be configured/modified. I just played around with Blinkfeed a couple of minutes in a phone shop. You can configure the sources that are shown on these tiles (like calendar, facebook, twitter, etc) but ...
Can I control how often each tile (is tile the correct word?) is updated? The more frequent the tiles are updated, the more battery is used and more network traffic is generated.
Can I control the placement of the tiles?
Can I control how many tiles are shown? E.g. I would like only a calendar tile and no social network tile or news feed tile.
Regards,
Stefan

It was one of the features I wasn't too keen on but it's turned out to be good for a giggle when I've got nothing else to play with. I scrolled 2 left of my homescreen yesterday to see the headline 'Study warns that sex in space is dangerous.'
I couldn't agree more. For starters the instant you unzip the fly on your suit your dead! Probably not what they were getting at but it was worth a chuckle.

You didn't need to be rooted to remove blinkfeed. Check out Q12 of the HTC One FAQ and you'll see a couple of ways to be able to get rid of it.
The other method, which requires rooting, is to install a custom ROM. I believe some ROMs may still have blinkfeed included though so you'll need to read the first post (at least) of the ROM threads to find out whether it has it or not

It's a nice feature to have, but give us the option to remove/disable it. I hate it when companies force stuff on you.

Can't post the apk, but if you Google NFSMW Nexus 7 MOD you'll find a version that works for our phones.
It doesn't have the blur effect and it doesn't run completely lag free, but it's definitely playable..
Aside from that, don't expect a fix for it...this effects the DNA as well and they haven't fixed it for that phone yet. How long has it been?

Now that I have root, and can at least flash zips through OpenRecoveryScript, I have been thinking about what I want out this rom, but got me thinking about an idea. While we have kitchens in the past, I do not think anyone has ever done a web-based kitchen. i.e. select the options you want on a web-page and it compiles the zip in the background and then lets you download.
This has been done for years in the programming industry for frameworks (jquery, etc)..
Anyways... Here are some ideas of my dream rom
Options
carousel mode
Screen on with text
Remove HTC apps (Blink Feed, Kid Mode, etc)
Remove stock apps (Mail, browser, etc)
Remove all languages except one you use
Move Google apps outside of /system/ that way they can be added and deleted as needed.
Remove live wall papers
Add common community apps such as Wi-F Tether, etc
Basically build a base rom with the stand rom featuers, zip-aligned, de-odexed, tweaks, etc...
I know alot of this is an option with AROMA installer, but by doing it this way, it makes the download that much smaller.....
Thoughts??
I vote we go for kernel source and get CM, omni, carbon, cfxperiment ect going Personal opinion
I'll add to the list
Alternative (or combine) LTE/Spark icons
Alternative battery icon with %
Remove NFC icon
Xposed Installer
Exchange Security Bypass

Well, for stock, I'd love everything removed that you could get from the play store, and a folder separate with removed apps if you wanted them.
Aroma is cool and all, but takes longer than this method.
Configurable buttons and long press options.
Oh, and an amazing kernel!
I made a stripped down rom for the gs3 called BareBones and I'll probably make a similar rom for this phone as well.
Beanstalk, my dd from the jewel. But it is CM based so we need that first.
