[Q] Problem while installing Paranoid 4.44 and alpha 2.

Hello Friend.
Samunsg galaxy Note N7000
I am using MIUI rom at the moment. I tried to install Paranoid 4.44 and 4.45 alpha 2 by CWM recovery( 6.0.3.2)
But i am getting error
"set metadata recursive some changes failed status 7"
I did factory reset and then tried to install from internal sd but its showing me this error. Please help me and suggest me some solution.
I would be very thankfull to you.

Update recovery? Ok bro. can you please tell Which is latest recovery version is available for samsung galaxy note?
and can i just flash new recovery file directly from my old recovery ?

You can flash forest kernel afaik. Then reboot recovery. From that you should be able to flash your ROM... Always read first.

That kernel comes with Philz recovery.
Gets overwritten while flashing your ROM. Updates should be no problems from there. As always, I'm not responsible for any problems. Always have a working backup ready. [emoji6]

I am currently having DDLSC ( baseband or watever). So i can flash that forest kernel right?

i installed the lastest recovery form phillz and it solved my problem.
This time with new recovery, no problem occured while flashing the rom. THanx a ton Bro.

Nope it wont. It was stated gazilion of times here, that flashing note2 kernel on i9300 PERMANENTLY damages touchscreen

The problem was with my device, the attached zip includes the correct kernel. That's why I can't test the touchscreen.

Flashing went OK? Which recovery and version? Where did it stuck after flashing?

Cwm is outdated, you have better to flash with twrp 2.8.6.1

you need cmw recovery or philz touch cause on philz touch the rom can be installed but wont boot ect or do anytthing

Just download zip and flash with twrp.

And as other devs do for example with Samsung devices. They debloat the rom. But as someone may want one or another stock app, the Devs created a folther/ link in OP with the individual stock app that were removed. This way everyone is happy

Xposed flashed after boot up, so not a good idea.

Marshmallow bootloader is required!
Its not possible to upgrade your phone from lollipop to marshmallow with this zip file.
You need the marshmallow bootloader and the right TWRP to flash this rom(DOWNLOAD TWRP)
Instructions:
Boot into TWRP
make a Nandroid Backup
Do a wipe
Flash ROM
Be patient on first boot
Download Stock B370
Download Stock B370 FF-Edition

What was your System before you flashed that zip? Marshmallow Or lollipop?
Maybe was the download or the copy to the phone wrong. I would Download it again and flash again.

System before is Lolipop B200 and has be rooted. I'll try again to download and flash the rom. I copied twice on the phone and after a few flesh, same happens.

You need the marshmallow Bootloader. You have to Update official to marshmallow and then flash the marshmallow twrp.

Can I dirty flash FF-Edition over Gratitude? Is the wipe strictly mandatory?

After flashing this ROM, I can't get audio to work on my device anymore. Anyone know how to fix this?

I fullwiped/flashed with both the roms on this post, neither fixed my audio. Anyone else having this issue?

I flashed this rom very often and i never got these problems.

You can try my kernel on stock but I can't give any guarantee that it works or even boots.... Just make a Backup of Boot Partition before you flash kernel that you can restore Stock Kernel If something went wrong... Report pls...

Go to Backup - Select Boot - swipe to confirm.

Hi, i would like to test, using emui 5 based Resurrection remix (by based i mean it has some files such as libs from huawei)
