Stock ROM with Root, is it possible to get OTA update?

Hey XDA,
I'm using stock rom with root. In few days Europe devices get 4.3 update. I wonder could I get ota update. If not, how can I get?
PS: I'm using TWRP Recovery.

you have to be on stock rom (no root) and stock recovery to get the update

Thank you, but I wonder one think. If I load stock recovery, will my device delete my datas?

Try to reinstall it, clear your playstore data and cache.

Hi. I am new user of LG. I bought a Korean version of LG G2. Friend of mine flashed international version (as per his saying) of KK. Phone is rooted as well. Now phone's software/hardware specs are as follows: Android ver 4.4.2, Kernel 3.4.0 Build No. KOT40I.D80220b, software vers. Lightning v2.0. In hareware info section it is Model No. LG-F320L. It is now confusing for me either my phone is D802 or F320L. Please tell me if the above spec allow me to flash this recovery. Thank you.

Are u asking me?

I have install now but this version is a big fail. The backup is very very slow. For stock backup i need over 15 minutes. With twrp or philz i need 3-5 minutes.

I'm guessing this is because my bootloader is locked. However, nothing is mentioned in the installation procedure about unlocking it first.
I'm using LG G2 D802 with STOCK D80220b-SEA-XX (Android 4.4.2) that I rooted with ioroot.

I believe the issue is you actually zipped a folder of the rom and the contents are inside, try zipping just the contents of that folder and see

It's a matter of time before we get official, every LG G* has had official TWRP and roms

LG G6 open sources contains f2fs tools, did you enabled f2fs in twrp? Maybe data is formatted with this fs. Just assumptions

It is really not fair what LG doing . i sold my p10 plus and bought g6 hoping that i will be able to flash custom ROMs . but just European variants are allowed to unlocl bootloader . that means i have to sell my g6 and and buy htc u11 or pixel xl . its really sad

[Solved]TMobile July Security Update

Currently running May security patch attempting to update to the July security patch but it just keeps on failing to install. Roughly 20gb left on internal storage. At first though I had issue due to home screen disabled and cause of pixel bridge and pixel launcher but even after uninstall and reenable and still nothing. Frustrating part is that getting into recovery only shows no command and all the button combinations won't get it up. Also have to reboot to recovery through adb on cmd because I can never get it with hardware buttons. Anyone else run into this issue?
