Texting on the tablet

Hey guys,
Not my work or my find. But just posting this d/l link for you all. Allows you to pick a number for free, limited numbers though (I'm a 217 area code and it gave me a 765) but its a start! App is called TextFree and its pretty straight forward. Works like a charm. Thanks theMaginator!

Try text plus you pick a username and it acts as a phone number. Free on market

Text plus does work great. Your contacts know who you are when you text them, vs textfree where you have to let everyone know your new number

Is there any way to Txt to the phone number you get with the data plan?

It actually directs you to the market and shows you the app in the market but doesn't let it download.

Has anyone been able to get a notification tone when you receive a new text?

Here is the APK, seems to work fine even though the market claims its not compatible.

OK so here is my current set up. Using GtalkSMS to redirect all my sms to the zoom and to reply from also using Google Voice got it working. So for now this should do.

Does anybody have this working on att or am I complety lost, it just won't let me send sms or use gtalk.
However it worked when I had sprint

I have been unable to use google voice ever since switching to the Vivid it has not worked on Stock, RunRaider as we as HoliRaider. I'm unsure why but it is bothersome

I have the fix guys! Mine is working, here is what you do:
- Set up the Google voice app first. (Make sure to chose Google as your voice mail option in the setup.)
- Next,go to settings on your phone.
- Go to call forwarding
- Leave the first option alone
- Change the bottom three options to your Google voice mail number.
I don't know if it will fix SMS or talk but voicemail does work after you change the settings. I don't use sms or talk.

Mms getting compressed even received tmobile model

This wasn't happening when I first got the phone but now it is happening all the time when I receive photos through messages. Downloading other sms apps doesn't work either. Please help if you can. What's the point of having such a big beautiful screen if I can't use it all.very frustrating

[Q] Contact Suggestion on Dialler

Hi,
This is the thing. The Dialler doesn't show me contact matched by the name any more when I enter a number. Earlier, if I enter 4 and 6, it showed me Home. But now it only gives me the contacts starting from 46.
I have no idea what I did to stop it from working. I tried clearing data of the Phone app and still the issue is there. Anybody knows how to get it back?
I'm on Sense 6.

Any suggestions, anybody?

Don't have a clue at all, cant even find an option to make it do whats happening to you. Worst case you might to wipe rom

App preventing screenshot?

So one of my banking apps is preventing my phone from taking a screenshot. However I wanted to screenshot my activity to prove to someone I made a payment. How do I get around this block?
