Hi! Yes, OTA works fine. Epic ROM for Redmi 4 Prime works like Epic ROM for Mi MIX. This is not a port, this is Epic ROM project.
Many usefull tweaks and improvements/mods for MIUI official build for many devices.
I am working now over Mi MIX and Redmi 4 Prime... Soon, probably, also MI 6.

sir this is the current rom installed on my redmi 4 prime phone when i bought it from a friend, now there is an update for your rom version 9.2.2 i believe this is a nougat based custom roms of yours. how can i install this update? can you initialized to me step by step procedure for this one.
do i need to update my phone to original nougat based rom first before installing your rom? or can i install it directly i.e. MM Epic ROM > Nougat Epic ROM? just clean flash
I am not using this rom, but I think this is still marshmallow.

Latest EpicRom is based on Marshmallow with miui 9.
just got another official rom from flyme.cn for redmi 4x and this rom is still not perfect yet but can add a collection of rom, and this rom is developed by 136fei ?

I am looking to try miui 12. I'm currently on miui 11 stable. Which miui 12 rom is the smoothest without major bugs and has the most SOT.
I'd be choosing between one of these:
xiaomi.eu
mmx
masik
miroom
memeui
miui global
miuipro
If ya wanna know u should find out urself. If u have soeme patience u can try all these roms y not?
You forgot China closed beta. Tried many roms. For me it's actually best in performance and stability. Only problem is that there are only Chinese and English language.

RevOS sucks. No more users for fix bugs. Only on telegram. Moderators make revos for what? Make money?
I tried the last build... Clean flash and launcher crash.
No gapps included.
On miui 11 they was the best team.
Now xiaomi.eu or mmx are better.

I've been using mmx for a long time, I prefer it over miui.eu even though it's based on it, has couple of nice added features.

How do you find out about these projects?
If you need English I would avoid MIUI Pro. They dropped support/translation for English a couple of months back.

Personally I am on 12.0.7 official Chinese rom and everything is fine... Will check next week to flash on Xiaomi.eu rom

Not much different, just using Google dialer and sms

I am already trying my best to get developers on board, but you have to understand that not anyone can afford this device.
