I want to get rid of the notification toggle of my xperia V (the stock one),
Because, you know with the "notification toggle" app, my notification panel is too ugly and filled...
I've attached a screenshot to illustrate my words.
Hope you can help me, thanks

You need Apktool, and the apk files from your /system/framework folder. Google it.
If I were you I'd just upgrade to 4.3, a lot simpler.

[Q] GingerDX v029 DeskClock

The ROM is really great and stable, but I just want to ask: can I remove that big ball, the one that when you click it changes the color, on the Clock system app? In case of 'yes', how can I do it?
I was using the GingerDX v025 and the Clock doens't have that.
Thanks.
That's a modded Desk Clock layout by AChep to match the ICS clock. Did you change apks by any chance?

No, I just flashed that new version 029 and the Clock is like that.
Do you know a way to get back to normal, I mean, without the mod to match the ICS clock?
Thanks.

I also have the same problem-it looks kind of ugly. However I am not sure if it is possible to get rid of the 'ball/oval', maybe you can try another clock app.
Although I don't like it either, it don't mind to much as I don't even use the app. Good luck anyway (even though my reply may not of helped much )
Does it happen with the ICS theme applied?

Also, I just thought of this, GDXv025 is also Gingerbread so what you could do is copy the apk of the GDXv025 clock app to the GDXv029 system/app folder.

I think that you need to deodex it before that change. Black one didn't work for me untill I deodex with Frapeti's files. And I think that we can't use that now, because there were some changes in new fw, and we will go back to previous with some things. So deodex it, or wait to someone do that.

In that case, maybe better wait for some custom ROM, and custom recovery. You do not want to end up with soft bricked phone, and to reflash JB again... My friendly advice.
Main thing is to change SystemUI.apk, and this one is for deodexed system. Stock is odexed.
And bobfrantic did this. He put mine SystemUI.apk in root.zip, like he said in that post, and he flashed it in recovery. And he renamed stock SystemUI.apk to SystemUI.apkold, and SystemUI.odex to SystemUI.odexold.
P.S. And if you do not get anything - here it is in short. It is file that gives you black or transparent status bar. The one where clock, batery level, signal level are located. And it is for Jelly Bean, not for Gingerbread!

Just to correct you shut_down, I didn't put the systemui.apk in the root.zip. I only rooted my phone then used root explorer to put your transparent systemui.apk into the system/app after renaming the originals. it was easy but I wouldn't recommend this to a noob or unexperienced person for sure

Can't remember now, changed color in xml of SystemUI.apk. Search XDA with "change status bar color" And for icons, I think you need to change png's inside of SystemUI.
But did it look like the s4 statusbar?

I do not know how S4 statusbar looks. And in that time mod is made S4 didn't exist. It is just transparent instead of gray background. Same icons as on stock.

[Q] Remove no data traffic notification?

Hey guys,
has anyone managed to remove the "data traffic disabled" notification on Jellybean yet?
I tried to, but the method of putting an .xml with the right values in /system/etc/customization etc etc. does not work, as the xml put in the /phone folder becomes blank. I've also set the right permissions and rebooted, but it just won't work.
Anyone with an idea?
i remember on my xperia v, i remove a apk in system/app

How to add shortcuts from the desktop onto the dock?

Hi,
I am using HTC Sense and I want to drag my own shortcut from the desktop onto the dock. But when I hold down the shortcut, the dock disappears. Is this possible?
I can't use the app drawer though because the shortcut I have on my desktop has a custom icon which I want to retain, that's different than the original app's icon.
Thanks.

Nope. Not on Sense. At least not on 4.1. I think if you are on a 4.2.2 sense rom, then it might be possible, but I'm not sure as I'm running a google edition rom.

Thanks I was told that it was possible because people said they are able to change the icons in the lockscreen.
How else can I do this? I use nova and my dock has different icons but the lockscreen dock still looks like sense, I mean for the icons.

They can change the apps, not the icons. Again, I'm not sure exactly how it works for 4.2.2 +. Sense will always use sense icons on the lockscreen.
What rom are you on?

Thanks probably 4.1? Actually I don't know how to check? Is 4.2 out? I haven't installed anything.
Also someone suggested using unicon, do you know this app? It's supposed to use the same icons everywhere but it says it requires root access. What's that even mean? I assume it will slow the phone down?

Btw. I'm on ViperROM and able to drag own Shortcuts to the Dock.
(Android 4.2.2)
But it could be a tweak from ViperRom (tons of 'em in the ROM)

Status bar from KitKat for HTC One GE ?

Hi,
everyone have a SystemUI with the white icons from KitKat for a HTC One Google Edition ?
I search Xposed Mod for having it on my HTC One GE but I don't find it. The blue isn't beautiful with transparent status bar and colours from Gravity Box are pixellised.
