or you can do it on PC Companion if installed on your PC.
Either one, connect you phone, check for updates,
it will update or say you have the latest update, but give you a repair option.
But, if you do use repair, it will wipe data from your phone so back up any contacts, media or app's you want to keep.
You could try a Factory Reset on your phone first, this resets defaults.
Settings >> Back Up & Reset >> Factory Data Reset >> Reset Phone >> Erase Everything
or you can do it on PC Companion if installed on your PC.

Thanks mate! Ok, I'll try to do as u said. And how do you think can I stay on ICS without updating to JB? , it's because I've read threads that JB isn't that good for this phone

Try the Factory Reset first, that wont affect ICS to JB, but back up your stuff.
Ha, you can't have the best of both worlds, either stay on ICS with no camera or update to JB.

Rom = [ROM] Xperia Curiosity v2.4 [17-03-2013] [UltraLite] [9.1.A.0.492]
Kernel = [KERNEL][T] DooMKernel {JB}(v02)[20130307]
No uv or oc
Just standerd cpu speed 1500
And it works and then i went to black screen just like that
have you flashed a stock .ftf yet?
how long was the phone working from you flashing anything to when it went black.
what was the very last thing you did to it before it went black?

Sorry, I think something on your board has gone pop, sounds like a hardware issue not anything that can be solved by flashing.

Camera doesn't work anymore on lollipop

Hi, everyone
Recently I have upgrade my Xperia Z [ (6603) _ generic _ HK] into the new lollipop 5.1.1 but the camera doesn't work anymore,not even once.
I tried every possible solution that I found ( safe mode, clear cache..... Etc) none of them have worked?
My question is how to fix it up, if it is capable of??
Otherwise, should I downgrade to a lower version of Android?? If so, which one??
Thanks

How old is your phone? Do you still have warranty? Did your phone fell down?
As long as your bootloader is locked you could try to repair it either with PC Companion or flashtool.

well, imo...
the best way to make sure that this is just a software problem, simply flash latest firmware
if not solved, probably it's a hardware problem
either the camera is not properly connected because of falling or bumping, or you need a new camera parts, or something else

the camera was working on 4.4.2 ; when i upgraded to 5.1.1 the camera didn't work any more & now I am on the latest firmware , so I guess it's a hardware problem perhaps caused by high temperature of the device .
Thanks a lot for you help sir :good:
Please, a short yes or no.
Is the Camera working on 6.0.1 or is it not.
