Hi
I have xperia z1, latest version and rooted.
Sometimes in standby mode the backlight wont turn off completely and then at the same time the "adapt to lightning condition" and rotation doesn't work and I have to reboot my phone.
This happen's at least twice a day.
What should I do?

Rom = [ROM] Xperia Curiosity v2.4 [17-03-2013] [UltraLite] [9.1.A.0.492]
Kernel = [KERNEL][T] DooMKernel {JB}(v02)[20130307]
No uv or oc
Just standerd cpu speed 1500
And it works and then i went to black screen just like that

Sorry, I think something on your board has gone pop, sounds like a hardware issue not anything that can be solved by flashing.

Try a reboot and if that doesn't help factory reset the device... That isn't necessary a bug with light jb because I'm using it and also others and light jb is bug free
bug free or what i duno, but i face suddenly freeze sometimes when using data.
I did factory reset and flashed it again
And it still there
I know that it isn't necessary but it is really annoying bug

Use another ROM if that bothers you. It is some mod in LIGHT JB. And you can remove it by finding in what file, and replace it with stock one. But I have no idea what is that file.
I had faced some screen rotation problem, when I playing games or watching movie on my xperia z at 45 degree, the screen rotated upside down and get back to normal. Any ideas?

no i have not had any issues
I have Sony Xperia Z (C6603, 10.7.A.0.222) and the brightness level is stuck at minimum after update to 5.1.1.
I have tried:
sensor test - light sensor is OK.
set brightness via ADB (settings put system screen_brightness 200) - didn't work.
using brightness control apps (like LUX for example) - didn't work.
factory reset - didn't work
Using stock ROM with root, any apps or functions that could set brightness to low for saving battery are either uninstalled or turned off. Any suggestions?

hmm maybe there is a problem with the partition.
Well there another way but you should try at your own RISK: Boot into recovery, go to the wipe category and select everything then wipe, now flash a stock rom from flashtool (enable USB debugging and unknown resources first)

I'm 100% sure it's hardware problem if the logo (when you turn phone on) is at low brightness too. When i'll have spare time I will repair it.

It's probably something to do with the rom/kernel itself since I don't have that problem but im using a stock rom and I haven't seen anyone else with your type of problem either.. Did you at least boot into recovery and clear your cache and all that?

The deep sleep issue is because of your knox counter being tripped! They probably have a kernel somewhere to fix the deep sleep issue though, but then the kernel is no longer completely stock once it's been altered.
