Save play store music on sd - Motorola Droid and Milestone Q&A, Help & Troublesh

Been reading around and can't seem to find concrete directions to save Google play music onto the SD card, I have CM7.2.4c-um s_sholes and have a rooted milestone running android 2.3.7. Is there a guide somewhere I can follow?

[Q] Created a bootable SD card, now what?

I've spent weeks (literally) following these forums and decided that my best bet was to go the "boot from SD card" route. Was able to create an 8GB card with Nookie Froyo and it seems to work on my NC, but ... now what do I do? I just want to get the Kindle app and a couple of games working but I don't know how to get them from the market because there doesn't seem to "be" a market, at least not like the Market on my Droid X. I have some .apk files, but what do I do with them - put them on the card somewhere to run?
I'm the techgeek in the family but this has me stumped. Google search has not been my friend or else I've not been searching correctly. I won't be insulted if someone points me to a "step by step" thread that addresses what you do after you get the SD card done. All I can seem to find is how to create a card.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Music Apps Cannot find music files after Root

Hey Guys:
After rooting my RAZR i phone using Batakang's .bat file, Google Play and any other music player that reads the default media library cannot find any songs.
I have read several posts for other phones where people remove the NOMEDIA files from the root of the External SD Card, Delete the application's data and cache and removing the music folder and then adding the music files to a new one, and unfortunately that has not worked for me so far.
On a side note, Titanium backup could not find any of the app backups I had previously created that were stored in the External SD Card.
Does this mean that apps are somehow "forced" to look into the Internal SD Card and cannot detect the External one?
Do I need to somehow "swap" the Storage denominations?
ASTRO and Other File managers can find these files without breaking a sweat, which leaves me puzzled.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Hello again:
I tried lots of different things and was able to resolve my problem by formatting the SD card.
I hope didn't have to do that, but I was at my wits ends.
I can only conclude that there were NOMEDIA files somewhere in the SD card preventing a proper media library scan.

emmc accesability

i would like to use the emmc on nook hd+ dual booting cm10.1 but i can only view the files from a file manager. i cant even get songs from my emmc on music players like google play music or the stock music app.
i would also like to know if there is any possible way to use the emmc for app storage instead of the sd card as i only have an 8 gb sd card and do not play on updating it any time soon.

If you want to swap sdcard and emmc in CM10.1 so that apps use your internal memory to store their files instead of the external SD that is part of your ROM installation, go to this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37294633
It was written for CM10, but I'm sure it will work on CM10.1.

[Q] SD Card issues in Cyanogenmod 10.2 on i9305

Apologies if this sounds similar to other issues that have been previously posted but I have not yet been able to solve this issue.
Basically, rooted and flashed cyanogen 10.2 - 26/8/2013 version which is android 4.3 (nightly) and cannot access my SD Card (from reading up on the issue I know that this is caused by android 4.2 onwards i.e. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2274218 )
I can see the SD card in storage settings and I can access the SD card through the root, I can see all of my music files and I can see images I have stored on it. I cannot access this music from either Apollo or Google Play Music. I can however see my images in my gallery app.
I tried following the directions in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2274218 this thread which require moving everything from the 'sd card' into its actual directory but my file paths do not match up with those in the description.
I have also tried unmounting and remounting the card, also reformatted the card, no dice.
Any help would be appreciated, please answer in retard terms because I am very very new to all of this.
**EDIT** Managed to get the SD card working again, I am able to play .mp3 files but not WMA files. Is there a way around this? I understand that this function was removed in CM V7?
