Hello,
I'm trying to change the default dictionary on a rooted kindle fire HD. After a lot of time googling around, I haven't managed to get anywhere. Basically, I want to download a dictionary that I want and replace the current default dictionary with the new one.
Thanks!

I have searched but confused by the answer.
I recently installed a language on my TyTN II to read/write text (the menus remain in English).
But now my default SIP/keyboard is the new language one.
How to get it back to Keyboard?
Thanks
Does anyone know how to enable an unrooted Galaxy to recognize Thai? I have downloaded a number of Thai keyboards and language packs from the market but none of them have worked.
I could find no way of doing this without rooting
I tried all the thai apps on the market too and kept getting the same problem
When my phone was standard I just got little squares instead of text
I found a way in the end but not what you're after
I've ended up using Darkys 9.5 Rom with the Arch Thai keyboard.
sorry not much help but my phone is 10 times better now than when it was on the factory software.
Its also doable here

but your phone still needs rooting
sorry
Is this possible?
I want to change the default dictionary from oxford to Merriam Webster.

Hello everyone. I've got kindle fire HD 7 and bluetooth keyboard for it. Everything goes okay while i'm typing in english, but i need ability to change keyboard layout to russian. In fact there are no russian layout in bluetooth keyboard settings (as opposed to "regular" sensor keyboard). Is it possible to add a russian layout to bluetooth keyboard? Maybe it just needing to change some conf files, maybe it's avaliable via google play software or maybe i need to develop some extra software?
I've wondering if there's anyway or mod or guide available that I can embed Japanese IME into HTC One's Stock keyboard?
As I prefer the stock keyboard over the keyboard available in the play store, however, HTC's stock keyboard has never add Japanese language IME into it.
So, anybody could lead me to somewhere there?
Were you able to find anything out? I just bought a used HTC One, changed the system language to Japanese no problem but saddened to see the lack of Japanese in the keyboard list There are so many others... I really like the stock keyboard and would like to stay with it instead of going back to the Google IME.
Anyone know a way?
