[Q] Kindle fire HD, bluetooth keyboard - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone. I've got kindle fire HD 7 and bluetooth keyboard for it. Everything goes okay while i'm typing in english, but i need ability to change keyboard layout to russian. In fact there are no russian layout in bluetooth keyboard settings (as opposed to "regular" sensor keyboard). Is it possible to add a russian layout to bluetooth keyboard? Maybe it just needing to change some conf files, maybe it's avaliable via google play software or maybe i need to develop some extra software?

Freedom Mini BT Keyboard character mismatch

Hello,
I am trying to use my (German) Diamond with the old (English) Freedom Mini Bluetooth Keyboard. See http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=reviews&id=725
I could not find any drivers for this keyboard on the net anymore, but pairing does work fine without, basic writing is also possible (only z and y is switched). Though I have major problems with the remaining keyboard layouts, as almost all additional characters (!"§$%& etc.) are not there, where the keyboard layout says. Its always a try and error approach for me.
Does anyone manage to use it in a real "what you see is what you get" mode maybe by changing the language on the diamond or via a driver?
Is there any easy way to change the the keyboard layout (AEKmap might work, but with it I had to remap almost all keys)
Thanks,
Michael
Characters mismatch
I bought an Freedom Universal Keyboard² and have the same problem regarding some keys do not match up with the signs on the keyboard.
I also put an message on their help desk (a week ago), no answer yet.
Unfortunally the choises between the layouts in the driver is very limited.

How to change keyboard layout on bluetooth keyboard?

Hi.
Hope i post this in the right sub forum...
I have a bluetooth keyboard connected to my Topaz to be able to write sms faster
Im using Duttys Holy Grail R6 SWE version rom.
The problem i have is whatever i try i cant get the keyboard layout on my bluetooth keyboard to Swedish, it just uses the English layout.
The bluetooth keyboard is a KeySonic ACK-340 BT.
I can mention that if i try to connect it to my desktop pc its also using English layout. But there is Swedish letters on the physical keyboard.
Anyone have any ideas?
Update: With pc it works good...
I got it work with my desktop pc, (had wrong layout on keyboard there)...
But whatever i try, i cant get it to work on my phone (it always is English layout).
I have the same problem, but haven't found any solution.
Maybe the best solution is to buy a keyboard with english layout instead?
But how to write in swedish on an eng kayboard then
We really need the ability to change keyboard layout on BT-keyboards!!!!

configure Bluetooth keyboard?

Hi all,
I am trying to connect an apple wireless keyboard to my sgs running ICS with a slim rom. The pairing goes well and I can use the keyboard to type in the phone.
However I can not find the way to configure the keyboard to change the regional settings and language. As my keyboard is in Spanish most of the letters do not match.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance?

[Q] Change Default Dictionary

Hello,
I'm trying to change the default dictionary on a rooted kindle fire HD. After a lot of time googling around, I haven't managed to get anywhere. Basically, I want to download a dictionary that I want and replace the current default dictionary with the new one.
Thanks!
